Things have been calm since the friendship games at Canterlot High, but just as all things must, the peaceful times are coming to an end. Sunset Shimmer has been having nightmares, ones that seemingly spell trouble for CHS.

Nightmares, we all have them from time to time. However, Sunset Shimmer has never experienced dreams of this caliber. A threat looms in the distance for Canterlot High School as Sunset struggles to interpret these nightmares.
Will she and her band of friends have the power to defeat the most powerful threat they have ever faced?
