Celestia woke up screaming. Quickly looking around the room to find that her guards had come in at the sound of her terror filled screams. Telling them to leave her be she thought about what she had just seen. Thoughts races through her head. It had been a massive battle with a winged monkey in the middle. Battling this winged monkey was another one their massive swords clashing with unimaginable force. Her thoughts were interrupted by her door slamming open with her sister Luna shouting at the top of her lungs without using the Royal Canterlot Voice. “Tia! Did you see the omen! They are returning!”
As the words Luna had said she realized what she meant. A look of fear flashed across her face. “Do you mean the Immortal council Lulu.” Celestia asked in worry.
“Yes Tia we do.” Luna’s use of older language showed she was worried as well.
“Does that include him?” The fear clearly showing on Celestia’s face.
Luna’s response only chilled her more. “Yes, King Sombra is coming back.”
Meanwhile deep underground in the badlands deep in the changeling hive
A human-like creature ran down the hallway his cloak flying behind him using his navy bat like wings to steer more easily. After making many turns he arrived at a crystal decorated door. He threw the door open to see King Sombra. Only not quite. He had black and silver hair flowing, his eyes were a softer silver rather than red without the evil glow, and yellow white of his eyes. “Yes Lunar.” He spoke calmly.
“It's time to go your Highness.” Lunar said.
“Even for a Magis you can be so impatient,” Sombra chuckled. “But I suppose you are right. Go tell Chrysalis, I'll get your siblings.” Lunar simply bowed and then disappeared.
Once Lunar was gone another male voice spoke up. “Shall I go?”
Sombra nodded. “Take Lunar with you though.”
The male with eagle like wings coming out of his cloak bowed. “Oh and Solar, don't lose him.” Sombra added making Solar chuckle.
“Yes my Lord.” Then disappeared in a flash.
“And now I'll get ready to talk to Cadenza.” Sombra said as he stood and trotted out of the room closing the door behind him.
Soon everyone was off going to alert the different immortals. “Lunar are you ever going to talk?” Solar asked sounding bored. Lunar simply grunted negative before taking off his cloak revealing black hair with a silver stripe and silver piercing eyes looking up at Canterlot in the distance. “Yeah that's where we’re going big boy.” Solar snarked receiving a blast of magic to the nose. “Ow that hur-!”
He was cut off by Lunar. “Hide ponies are coming.” They dove into the forest next to them just in time to see six ponies and a baby dragon walking by.
“That's Princess Twilight!” Solar exclaimed.
“How is she alive. Her soul was destroyed right in front of my eyes.” Lunar said as a tear trickled down his face as the six ponies went by.
“Hey it's ok.” Solar comforted as he hugged Lunar. “If that is her we’ll talk to Luna about it.” Solar let go and stood up with Lunar and they started moving.
Soon at the castle of Canterlot in the throne room
“Celestia when it is only confirmed when they send messengers.” Luna attempts to comfort her sisters fear were in vain.
“Luna the elements will know that they were killed and reborn. They will know they are immortals and not all ponies.” Princess Celestia then proceeded to curl up into a little ball of fur and feather.
“Wow. How the mighty have fallen.” Came a voice out from nowhere.
“Yes indeed. Supposedly the strongest immortal ever showing fear.” Came another from the shadows.
“Hello Luna you look well. I'm sorry you have to deal with the one who cast us out.” Came both voices in union. Then in a flash a winged being cloaked in white and from the shadows a winged being in black appeared.
“I am Solar Day son of Flare Day.” Solar said taking off his hood revealing white hair with a gold stripe through it and gold soft corrupting eyes. “I am here to take Celestia to the Council of immortals. We leave when you are ready.”
Taking Luna by surprise Celestia stood up. “We will leave immediately. Luna I will see you there.” And then in a flash they were gone. Leaving the cloak and Luna.
“And what about me?” Luna inquired.
“First I have some things to tell you mom.” The cloaked one said taking his hood off revealing shaggy short hair like Solar.
“Mom? Wait. Lunar?” Luna asked with an anxious look receiving an affirmative nod. Lunar was then tackled in a hug. “Ohmygoshohmygosh! I missed you so much Lunar!! How is everyone else?!” Luna ran off words.
“Solar and Wrath are fine, so is Sombra. How is my sister?” Lunar asked his mother.
Her response chilled him. “She can't remember. Doesn't even remember me.” Lunar fell to his knees tears dripping down his face. “Neither do her friends.”
Now all Lunar could do was stand up. “Let's go. Dad will be there.” And so they walked into a shadow leaving a very stunned guard standing at the entrance. He was then grabbed and pulled with them.
Deep in the north outside of the Crystal Empire
“No I will not!” King Sombra shouted as he was attacked by an evil double in a clash.
“Come back to us. The heart is waiting for you!” The double spoke.
Sombra's response shook the entire Crystal Empire. “NO!” As he released all his magic it a single blast.
The fight had drawn the attention of a patrol who had alerted Cadenza who came in person to see the fight end. “Get him to the infirmary!” She commanded. “He has just saved us from Sombra for his third return. I want him alive if he is that powerful!” The soldiers saluted and went to to the new crater in the snow covered plain.
“Princess!” Came a guard's voice from the crater over the storm. He bears the Royal seal of the empire! He must be thousands of years old!”
Cadenza looked down at the guards. “Is he an alicorn!” She shouted.
“Yes!” Came the response chilling her to the bone. A new immortal alicorn had just saved her kingdom.

Sombra started to come to. As he look around he saw that there was a guard, hospital beds, and thank you notes? “What are these for?” He asked the guard as he picked one up opening one.
“They're from the people. You stopped King Sombra’s second return.” The guard said smiling. “Thank you dear alicorn.”
“You really hate Sombra don't you.” He said fake smile spreading across his face.
“Well he imprisoned my people.” The guard said. “I am Prince Shining Armor of the Crystal Empire.”
“I know you Prince Armor, and actually I came to talk to Princess Mi Amora Cadenza.”
“Really well I was just coming to check on you.” Came a voice from the door. Looking up they saw a pink alicorn. “May I ask who you are?”
“I think it would be best to wait on that until I tell you why I am here fellow ruler.” Sombra said catching the two other ponies by surprise. “I am here to invite you both to the first hearing of The Neo-Immortal Council.”
Jaws dropping they spoke in union. “The what now?”
“A council for immortal rulers gather to decide what to do about their kingdoms without war. We are inviting you both because even though you didn't know it being bound to the heart makes you as immortal as I am.” Sombra spoke with such bluntness it took the royals by surprise again.
“What? When is being held?” Cadenza spoke.
“Today. Are you coming.”
“Yes I suppose we should. Right Shining?” She asked receiving a nod of agreement.
“Then let's go.” Sombra said charging and teleporting them.
Somewhere on a floating island
“Is that everyone? Good take your seats so my brother can explain.” Lunar said as Sombra and the Crystal royals appeared. Every time someone sat down a stone above their seats would glow. The seats were in a circle with the following immortal's Discord, Celestia, Luna, Griffon, Phoenix, Dragon (magically made smaller), Chrysalis, two other changlings, one of which stone didn't flow at all, Twilight Sparkle, the other elements, Cadenza, Shining, Sombra, a female Magis with white eagle wings cloaked in white and gold, Solar, Lunar, and an empty seat. They were on a large island about the size of Canterlot and the Everfree combined. Forests covered about 50% of the island the other half was a city in the center and farms.
“My name Solar Day head of this council and one of the rulers of this island in the sky. Representing The Equestrian Empire we have Luna, Celestia, and Discord. Representing the Giant kingdom we have Tirek. Don't worry he is not the one who ravaged your land Celestia. For changlings we have Chrysalis, Shadow Venom, and Feaster.” The changling in the center of Shadow and Chrysalis had a menacing aura and her crystal was glowing as strongly as Discord’s was. Meanwhile Shadows was dead. “We have the elements among us, Twilight, Applejack, Pinkie, Rainbow, Rarity, and Fluttershy. We have Cadenza and Shining from the Crystal empire. We have Lunar representing the night branch of the Magis.” He was interrupted by a flash as an alicorn appeared. He was gray all over. His mane was a darker gray like his eyes. His mane was spiky and looked familiar. His cutie mark was an atom with the center being a star with stars as as the electrons.
“Sorry I'm late.” The alicorn spoke. Filling the last seat his stone going crazy making Lunar raise his eye.
“Well we now have Shining Hooves representing the neutral order.” Solar said sending whispers around the circle.
“If I may interrupt you for a minute.” The Pheonix interrupted. “Why do we want another council? If you remember the last one collapsed causing the elementals to change their forms and go into hiding!”
“I do remember King Flame.” Lunar said. “If you remember you elementals weren't the only ones who lost things.” With that the Phoenix and Dragon changed. They both split into two parts. One part of the Poenix turned into half human half bird. His head was a birds and his feet and hand were claws. The other half was a humanoid wolf of stone. The dragon turned into a serpent of water and a dragon humanoid thing out of wind spinning at high speeds making it visible and solid. “Welcome back to the Council. Solar you may continue.
“We have Sky and I for the day branch of Magis. And also now the four no longer hidden elemental kings, King Flame, Queen This got him some angry growls. “And lastly the most powerful alicorn ever in the history the entire world also representing the neutral order.” His pause caused all the alicorns to turn to him in shock then all eyes when to the alicorn with flaming hair and threatening armor. “The legendary no longer evil.” The no longer evil made some eyes go wide as they realized who it was. “The maker of the Crystal Heart.” Now everyone was in shock. “King Sombra Night Crystal.” Everything went silent.
“You're… You’re… the King Sombra?” Cadenza stuttered. “The one who enslaved my people!” Now starting to get angry she stood up.
“Sky do it now.” Lunar said. Sky nodded and snapped her fingers. They all teleported.
Empty plain that shouldn't exist
“Where are we you damned Majis!” The Fire Elemental spoke.
“My sister has teleported us to this scape for at my request.” Lunar spoke up. “The plain is, well, an infinite plain generated for this purpose. Here in the plain we will train and gain each other's trust and make decisions for the whole world. I will help you to conquer your inner demon so as you are not lost to it during training.”
“When do we start.” Earth element spoke in a hollow voice. “And are we doing combat or mental training first?”
His answer was Solar punching him in the face with his fist on fire. “Begin! The goal is to beat your opponent!” Soon everyone was sparring except for Spike, Twilight, Lunar, and another Majis. The new one didn't have armor or a cloak just simple jeans and a t-shirt but he had brass knuckles on his hands he had short blonde hair and his eyes sparked yellow with lightning. “Before we go at each other I have something I must do.” Lunar said interrupting the tension. “Spike come here.” Spike hesitated but after a nod from Twilight he came up to Lunar. “This might hurt a bit but your own magic is blocked by the magic Twi used to hatch you.” And with that he put his hand on Spike's head. All spike saw was white but what he felt was power. He grew till he was as tall as Lunar or Celestia, he became muscular and lean. The biggest change were his wings, he now had green and purple wings. His head now looked more like a dragon and his magic power was up to Twilight as a unicorn.
Twilight’s jaw dropped. “Spike?” She asked. “Is that you.”
“Yeah Twi. And I like the changes.” Spike said looking himself over.
“I am so running tests when we get back!” Her thoughts were interrupted when Lunar threw a punch at her. The other Majis attacked Spike and soon it was two on two. The battle at first went back and forth but then the two Majis gained the upper hand. Even when Spike let loose a torrent of green fire breath on the blonde Majis he was just too fast. “How can you both be so strong!” Twilight asked as she fought the two Majis with Spike.
“Simple we’re the head of military.” The blonde said.
“Way to put it simple Dan.” Lunar said. “But yes that is a reason the other is you're not trying hard enough!” He said the last word as he landed a blow to Spike's stomach.
“That's it!” Spike and Twilight spike in union. The each released a massive blast. When the dust cleared everyone had stopped fighting and look at them. Spikes frill had become a flame showing he had to put off extra magic he had so much. The more dramatic change was Twilight. We're she once stood was a Majis with flowing hair and purple skin. She had turned into a Majis. She didn't seem to notice though and continued to fight. Spike just shook it off and followed. Lunar and Dan grinned and then their hair started flowing a bit in a false wind like Twilight Majis and the alicorn sisters. Then they struck. Left hook, right hook, back kick, spin kick, magic blast, the fight just went back and forth. Soon all members of the fight were tired, bruised, and even a little bloody.
“What say you to a break?” Dan spoke up. Everyone nodded in agreement as Sky teleported them back to the island.
“Sir!” A Majis with darker skin and dreadlocks yelled to Lunar. “The island is under attack! What are your orders!”
“Engage. Dan go get your squad and join the fight I will be there momentarily.” Lunar ordered like seconded nature.
“Sir, yes sir.” Dan and the Majis said as they ran off.
“Lunar son what's going on here?” Sombra spoke up as the others whispered.
Lunar’s answer sent chills down all of their spines. “It's time to meet the corrupted. Council prepare for war.”
