A Journey Through The Mindscape

Discord stood in front of Twilight with his arms crossed, frowning. He usually didn't look serious, but he pulled it off. Twilight rolled her eyes, groaned, and finally pulled her eyes away from her book. "What do you want, Discord.....?"

He practically glared at her. "Flutterbat is going to be released."

Twilight did a spit take on the Cutie Map where she sat in her chair. "WHAT!? We defeated her!"

The God of Chaos nodded. "You did. But she's back. And before you ask, the mirrors and spell from last time won't work."

Twilight started pacing, jumping from her chair. "Well than what do we do!? I can't let her get overrun by a demon!"

Discord slightly chuckled, yet it was empty. "Easy, you, me, Angel Bunny, and the rest of the mane six (Besides Fluttershy of course) are going to travel into her mind."

She raised an eyebrow. "Why Angel Bunny? And what will we be searching for?"

He turned and studied his nails. "From what I've gathered before Flutterbat kicked me from Fluttershy's mind, each one of the Elements of Harmony and I have a key. And Fluttershy can't get her own key, so we decided to get the creature closest to her that doesn't already have a key: Angel Bunny."

Twilight deadpanned. "YOU, have a key?"

Discord mocked being hurt. "Of course, Twilight! I'm one of her best friends!"

Twilight shook her head. "So, when do we go?"

Discord smiled, showing off his canines. "Why, as soon as the others have arrived." He lost his grin. "But remember two things. First, Fluttershy can not know we're entering her mind. Secondly, when we're in there, we will have to split up if we want to beat Flutterbat in time."

Twilight nodded and lit her horn, opening her wings. "Alright, what's the spell?"

Once her friends had heard the explanation, they all looked astonished. Even Angel Bunny, who sat on the table looking concerned.. Then, Rarity swallowed and spoke in a nervous tone. "Will..... Will there be something guarding it...?"

Discord slowly nodded. "Most likely. Flutterbat wouldn't just let the keys go unguarded. But remember, since you'll be separated, Friendship or Rainbow Magic won't work on them. And even if you want to try to help them become better ponies, they aren't. Their beasts created from Fluttershy's nightmares."

They all nodded. Twilight spoke up. "All right, everyone. If Discord is right, Fluttershy should be having an afternoon nap now. Let's go." She lit her horn, and a purple bubble surrounded them. In seconds, they disappeared in a flash of purple magic.
