Making the room seem a little less dull. Sadly that didn't help how stuffy it was in here though. Shinning Armor walked into the room with 6 different colored folders. Rainbow Dash was only here for a spy mission, so this was one of the most exiting moments in her life. The other ponies on this job were Grape Soda, Flash Sentry, Rarity and Spitfire. Shinning Armor was the leader of the whole outfit. They had secretly been picked for this job and promised to not tell. This group would be based off of the classic board game known as clue. The first mission was probably amazing. "Grape Soda" Shinning Armor passed the purple folder to Grape Soda. The earth pony stallion nodded as he took the purple file and its contents. Next was Flash and then her turn, later Spitfire and ending with Rarity. Flash got the yellow one. Grape would be Professor Plum and Flash would be Colonel Mustard. Flash ripped the file from Shinning's hooves. Rainbow Dash hoped to be Scarlett, it had a nice ring to her ears and was her favorite one when she played the board game. Plus scarlett was red, and Rainbow's favorite color was red. Her heart sank when she was given the blue folder. She didn't try to take it so Shinning Armor left it at her feet, she looked down at it in dismay. She would be Ms. Peacock.  Maybe because she was the color blue. what ever the reason it was all a mean joke to her. She watched in silent jealousy as Spitfire was given the red one. That left Rarity to be Mrs. white and Shinning Armor as Mr. Green. "Can we call you greenie?" Flash Sentry joked. Rainbow Dash and the other girls tried not to laugh. "Stuff it Sentry." Shinning Armor grumbled. "Eh, eh, ahhh. That's Colonel Mustard to you!" Colonel Mustard smiled. "Just ignore him." Professor Plum said. Scarlett and Mrs. White nodded. Eventually everypony was ready to go on their first mission. "The host of a party has been getting murder threats and we are going under cover to find out who is doing it and to stop them." Mr. Green showed everypony a list of plausible suspects. "Cool." Colonel Mustard, "also, could I take this off its a little scratchy." He began pulling at the uniform he had to wear. "Your not wearing a dress." Scarlett said, Ms. Peacock nodded in agreement, Mrs. White gingerly smoothed out her white silk garment. Professor Plum messed with his glasses and groaned. "Your all in disguise might I remind you?" Mr.Green glared around the room. "Its not our fault your disguise fits perfectly." Professor Plum implied. "Almost like he did this on purpose!" Ms. Peacock grinned. "So if I'm Colonel Mustard can I talk like Pun Bradey from the Roy Pony show?" "What?" Mr. Green asked, after a few moments he answered, "no." Colonel Mustard sighed. Soon they were at the party! The hall was full of ponies. Talking to old friends and saying hello to the hostess. The walls had ribbons lining them. "Oh thank Celestia your here!" The hostess smiled at the 6 disguised ponies. "Happy to be of assistance ma'am." Colonel Mustard tipped his hat in awe at the dress this mare was wearing. She let them all enter the room. There were tables of amazing foods and punch and cider. Mustard and Plum were at the table in seconds. Mrs. White and Scarlett looked for their suspect and Peacock stood frozen. "Hey you gonna move or not?" Colonel Mustard's voice rang threw a speaker in her ear. "You sound drunk, that's a record right Scarlett?" Peacock whispered into her Mic peace which was carefully hidden in a blue flower pinned to her blue and green dress. "Sure why not." Scarlett seemed annoyed. Conversations went like that for some time. Peacock walked to a table and got herself some punch. The cups were crystal and very beautiful. "Want some help." A voice asked from behind her. She turned around and smiled at her suspect. "I've got it from here." She moved out of his way to the punch. "Well next time such a lovley mare needs punch she can ask me and I will do it with out any complaints!." He sweetly smiled. Flash spoke and she herd his voice in the ear peace asking her if she was gonna go steady with this guy. "That sounds nice." She replied to both ponies. Point was this guy was a charmer. He was such a charming casanova she just about forgot that he was a suspect. So when she was back in detective mode she asked some questions. "So...how did you meet Gail?" Peacock asked, the hostess was named Nighten Gail. "She and I were sweet hearts in high school." Now she had something to go on, "Really?" "Yeah but she dumped me for some dork." He grumbled and looked at the floor. And now a motive! This was easier then she thought,  "I forgot to ask your name." She looked at him with a smile. "Prince." Was his reply. Suddenly he looked at a room, "I gotta go take a little brake...be right back." He left politely and trotted to the bathroom. Well at least he didn't say 'little gents' room' or something stupid like tha- Wait what? The lights went out, a mare Screamed, suddenly a large pony bumped into her and she dropped her cup. She may not have noticed that her ear piece was now peaking from her hat. After another loud and quite irking scream the lights came back on. She looked around confused. Prince returned and asked her to fallow him, he turned around towards the door. She grew more and more confused each step. What was going on? He let her go a head of him and she stopped in her tracks. At her feet was the hostess, she layed in a faint...or she may have been dead. Peacock looked around in confusion, suddenly the deadly cold muzzle of a gun was pressed to the back of her head. She mouthed a curse word I would rather not explain, let's just say it started with an F. "Your coming with me." Prince spoke into her ear. He removed the ear piece and threw it to the ground next to Nighten Gail. Peacock mouthed a curse word again as she started at the ear piece. Not only was it a way of communication between her and her team mates but it also had a tracker on it so they could find her...in other words...She was screwed... They'd left out a secret spot so not to be noticed. There had been a picture above a fire place in the hall, and if it was tilted a certain way the wall in the pit of the fire place could be used as an escape tunnel. And that's how they got out in secret, threw any asthmatic's worst nightmare. She was now tied up in the back of Prince's truck. Her capture was driving to some strange place in the mountains. She looked at the Mic piece in the flower on her dress, if she could talk with him she might get him to spill the name of wherever they were going! "So..." She needed to ask where they were going without giving away the whole plan, "What's the name of this mountain?" "Its called Celestial mountain, the sun rises over it ever morning. It's also where Nighten Gail broke my heart." He just kept telling her why he killed Nighten Gail for some reason. She wasn't sure how she fell into all this. He immediately parked the truck, "it's also where your going to die." He shoved her out of the truck and forced her to walk down a path leading to a cliff. Peacock- wait, she didn't need the spy name anymore. She wasn't a spy right now, she was either a victim or a captive and she didn't like the idea of any of those roles. She needed to play the right cards or this would be her end. "How do I fit into ANY of this?" Rainbow Dash asked trying to look the stallion in the eye. "You don't, but I found out you were a spy thanks to your ear piece. And a spy doesn't deserve to live." His reply somehow sent a shiver down her spin. Flash trotted back and forth from inside the spy van that was conveniently parked behind the mansion, "she is doomed!" "Dude shut up!" Shinning Armour rolled his eyes, "she's got this I'm sure." "Well...technically she is a hostage right now, she may not be 100% at this point." Grape looked at his boss with concern. "And that's why we have to find her!" Flash said in a sad voice. He wasn't being a joker right now, this was too serious for that. (Just incase your think, how can he locate her without the earpiece, they put trackers in all the suspects cars. "She got him to name the mountain, so it may not take as long time to locate where she is." Grape was typing some gibberish into a computer. Rarity had some headphones on and was listening to the conversation Rainbow Dash and Prince were having. She unplugged the headphones so everypony could hear. She gave them all a worried look. "Killing you is going to hurt you a lot more then it will hurt me." Prince's voice rang over the speakers Rainbow Dash was silent. "We have to do something!" Flash groaned. The point is he had a tiny crush on Rainbow, not a large one but just big enough to make this moment painful. Nopony else took notice of this in anyway. They just ignored him. "I have the location!" Grape smiled as he jumped from his seat, "let's go!" They journeyed to Celestial mountain and hoped they weren't late. He shoved her to the edge of the cliff. The flower on her dress fell off into the dirt and she ended up stepping on it. "You know, if you let me go now the judge might give you a lighter sentence." Rainbow Dash awkwardly said, hopping to buy some time. "Not a chance." Prince replied as he put the gun to her temple and stared into her eyes, "I'd rather kill you." "Your bluffing." Anger grew in his eyes, "no I'm not!" Rainbow Dash smirked, "yes you are, your hoof is shaking so your also nervous." "If you don't shut up right now i swear I'll blow your head off!" He yelled and shuttered a bit. Rainbow Dash rolled her eyes, but she was starting to get worried. If she upset him he might just kill her. She then got an idea, "You don't won't to kill me." She put on a fake frown, "try to remember how much fun we had at that party." He seemed to start thinking. Rainbow hoped this would work. She heard something in the bushes. Probably just some squirrels or something. "Your right." He looked sad, "but I already killed Nighten Gail, their isn't any hope for me." Rainbow Dash was about to speak when two gun shots rang over the airwaves. One sent Prince head first off the side of the cliff onto the pointy rocks below. She wasn't sure about the second one untill everything faded to black. Rainbow Dash you alright?" Rarity asked as Flash and Shinning Armour carried her from the side of the cliff. The blue pegasus's eyes opened slowly. "What?" She asked. "You alright?" Rarity repeated now with more concern. "My head is killing me if that's what your wondering." Rainbow Dash put her hoof to the side of her head and immediately regretted it. "A bullet must have grazed you there." Rarity left and then returned with a first aid kit, she opened it and began dabbling some wet cotton ball in Rainbow's forehead. Shinning Armour learned over the cliff, "well-" But Flash interrupted, "he dead." (Estimated time: 2 weeks later at HQ about to receive another mission.) Rainbow Dash walked into the office and sat down with everypony else and waited for their next job! She was really exited about this they usually wait untill another assignment to come up and finally they had one! The bullet that had grazed her last time was now a small scar and covered up by her hair. Shinning Armour walked into the room and let the door shut by itself. The door made a load bang and Rainbow jumped a bit. Everypony looked at her in confusion. "You okay?" Flash asked, his voice gave off a bit of comedy. "Yeah." She rolled her eyes, this would be a long day.
