A young man dresses as Ratchet from the game series, 'Ratchet and Clank', at a Con. He buys the Omniwrench and is transported to Equestria. Shenanigans follow.
20 year old, Richard Haven, dressed up as Ratchet from 'Ratchet and Clank' at a Con. While there, he met a strange Merchant and bought the last piece for his costume, the Omniwrench.
After passing out, he woke up in a strange land with no memories of who he was, only who he is. Taking on Ratchet's identity, he goes around Equestria for the Princess and the Princess only.
