Blessed Child

Chapter 1

It was nighttime in Las Pegasus and a little earth pony filly was walking by herself home from school. She was an orange filly with a hot pink, straight mane, hot pink eyes and 4 small yellow stars in a straight line for a cutie mark. She looked upset, But she perked up and looked to the right of her, no pony was there, but she acted like some one was.

“Yes, I know I should try to make friends but no one wants to hang out with me,”

“Yes, I do have you but I’m the only one who can see and hear you so it just makes me look crazy to every pony else,”

“I know, we need to keep our eyes on what’s important,”

She said, almost to herself. Her voice was soft and comforting to listen to.

Three male unicorns approached her and blocked her path.

“Do you guys mind? You’re blocking my way,” she said nicely.

“Why don’t you make us Summer Sun,” the leader of the three unicorns said.

He had a raspy, hard voice.

“Oh come on guys I just want to go home. Please move,” Summer Sun said nervously.

“You want us to move so bad, fight you little freak,” the unicorn said and pushed Summer to the ground, hard.

Suddenly a thunder cloud flew right over them and started striking the ground around them with lightning. The three colts screamed and ran away as fast as their legs could carry them.

Summer Sun to levitate off the ground and back onto her hooves.

"Thank you," she said to the invisible something.

"Come on. Let's get home," she said and walked off.

Meanwhile, at Twilight's library the two were getting ready for another trip.

"So Miss. Sparkle. Where do you want to go next?," the Doctor asked.

"I don't know," Twilight said.

Before either of them could react the Tardis doors closed and started moving on it's own.

"What?!," the Doctor exclaimed.

The two grabbed onto stuff to keep their balance.

"Doctor, what's going on?!," Twilight exclaimed.

"I don't know! I didn't do anything! The Tardis is taking us somewhere on it's own! Must be a strong signal in..... current day Las Pegasus? Seriously?,"

"Can you please worry about that later?,"

The Tardis stopped right at the side of a house. The two stepped out.

"Hm. Apparently the Tardis is sensing some kind of strong signal from here. Might as well have a look,"

"If you say so," Twilight agreed.

The Doctor knocked on the door.

A green earth mare opened the door. She had a light blue curved mane and light blue eyes, and a hail cloud for a cutie mark.

"Yes?," she said.

She had a soft, warm, motherly voice.

"Yes. Hello. I'm the Doctor and this is Twilight Sparkle," the Doctor introduced.

"Hi," Twilight greeted.

"Oh the Doctor. Come in. We've been expecting you," the mare said.

The two walked inside and the mare closed the door. They were greeted by a unicorn stallion. He was blue- grey and had a silver spiky mane, silver eyes and a paint brush and a piece of paper for a cutie mark. There was also a young unicorn foal. She was taller than the standard school filly size, looked about 11- 12. She was yellow with a light green bushy mane and light green eyes and a sunflower for a cutie mark.

"Hi. Who are you?," the foal asked, nicely.

Her voice was soft but had a bit of puberty scratchiness in it, just a tiny bit.

"I'm the Doctor," the Doctor responded.

"Doctor who?,"

"It's just the Doctor,"

"Yes this is our daughter Sunflower Candy," the mare said, approaching the group.

"Sunflower Candy?," the Doctor responded.

"Yes," the stallion replied.

The doctor did notice that the foal's mare and body color did look like the colors you would find on a sunflower, so it wasn't the strangest name he had heard.

"Well alright," he said.

"Um. OK. Well we asked you to come because of the filly we took in," the mare explained.

Suddenly there was another knock at the door.

Sunflower opened it. It was the school therapist. She was baby blue with a mint green , soft shiny, smooth but a bit fluffy mane and a smiling face as a cutie mark.

"Oh hello Miss. Happy," Sunflower said.

'Hello Sunflower, are your parents home?," she asked. Her voice sounded like a doctor or a therapist.

"Mom it's the school therapist," Sunflower called out.

The two walked to the door.

"Hail Cloud and Brush Candy?," Miss. Happy said.

"Yes. What's wrong?," Hail asked, as she noticed the concerned look on the mare's face.

"It's... the song Summer wrote in music class today. It's... concerning me," she said.

"Oh no," the stallion said.

"Everything Summer does concerns her," Sunflower explained to the Doctor and Twilight.

Miss. Happy handed them the paper and they started reading the song out loud

"I'm friends with the pony that guards me when I'm asleep in bed

Deal with the nightmares inside of my head
