The Wonderful World of An Eerie Pony
Chapter 0: A Bright Filly
Load Full Story"Mooooooooooooom. Diamond is pulling my maaaane!" And this is where our story starts. Eerie and her sister, Diamond, were rough-housing in the living room of their home. Diamond managed to grab ahold of Eerie's sparkly mane and tug on it.
"Mph mph mppph!" Said another filly, who's mouth was filled with mane. A mare trots into the room, wearing an apron. Her mane and coat were... Sparkling? Yes, it was.. How strange... Eerie and her sister barely have any features that resembles that of a crystal pony, well, except for Eerie. She was, so to speak, a lucky filly to have this gift. The green mare lets out a soft sigh and a chuckle..
"You two surely are a bunch of little play-fillies, aren't you?" She sits down and watches the two roll around the carpet. The two fillies bump into the living room couch and they split apart. Not literally, though. A purple-pinkish filly with navy blue hair quickly gets on her hooves and gallops towards her mother.
"Moooom! She's being mean to me!" The filly said before jumping into her hooves. The mare cradles her child and looks toward the cyan-coated unicorn.
"Oh, she was just playing with you, I'm sure." Chuckles the light green mare.
"Yeah, I was! Sis, you're so whiney sometimes, you know that?" The cyan filly huffs and sits down on her flank, then crossing her forehooves.
"Mooooom!!!!" Their mother sighs and shakes her head.
Their mother sighs and shakes her head, "Diamond, don't say such a thing to your sister. It's a rude thing to say to others, dear.” The child in the mare's hooves sticks out her tongue.
"Okay, mom... Sorry, Eerie..." Diamond didn't feel like making more of a fuss, since it would get her in trouble. She decided to just go back to her room before anything gets any worse. Eerie's mother sighs once again and places Eerie down on the floor. The unicorn grinned at her mother and giggled.
"You sure showed her, mom!" Her mother shakes her head and chuckles softly at her child.
"Dear, you really do make me smile, you know that? You two are my everything..." The mare's horn glows and she levitates the filly up, only to place her back in her forehooves.
"Mom, I know... You told me and sis that many times!" Eerie said with a little giggle. Her mother, though, just smiled at her creation and gave her a soft kiss on the forehead, making the smaller unicorn squirm.
"I know, dear. But you have to get used to that if you're ever going to have a coltfriend someday and get married with him." She said, Eerie only to exclaim in disgust.
"Ew, no! I'm never getting a coltfriend! Colts are weird..." They actually weren't really all that weird; they just acted crazy and did weird stuff she didn't enjoy. She actually had the idea once of asking this one filly if they wanted to be marefriend and marefriend, but that went downhill when the filly just downright looked disgusted and shook her head... Saying some mean things to her as well.
"Well, how about marefriend? I heard that you asked a filly if-" Eerie quickly covers her mom's mouth and shushes her.
"Mooooom! Please don't mention that! It was awkward and... Awkward!" The filly squeaked a little after finishing what she had to say, which causes her mother to giggle. The mare brushes away the filly's hooves from her mouth.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop mentioning it, dear." Eerie sighs in relief and hops away from her mom's hooves; landing gracefully on the floor and turning around to look up at her mother.
"Thanks, mom! I just don't like thinking of that... It was really weird." She frowns slightly after remembering a bit of that time during school.
She was wearing anything that would make her look presentable; a light purple dress. She went to school wearing it and nopony even bothered asking why she was wearing a thing like that to school. After hours of teaching, it was time to go to recess.
Eerie was walking around the playground before finally spotting the filly she liked; Delicate Breeze. She was just sitting near a flower patch and picking them, humming as she picked some dandelions from the ground. The unicorn trotted proudly to the blue pegasus and sat down besides her, only to pop the question immediately. "Wanna start dating, Breezey?" The other filly looked at Eerie in a bit off shock before quickly shaking her head, which broke the unicorn's heart. After that happened, she went back home in tears... But luckily her mother was there to support her.
Woooah, flashback... The filly shakes her head and sighs, "I love you, mom..." Eerie quickly trots to her mother and hops into her hooves. The filly's mother smiled and hugs her, "I love you, too, dear. You and your sister are my ever-" And there goes the hooves in the mouth.
"Moooooooom!!" Eerie squeals loudly before she gets set back down by her mom.
The green mare chuckles softly, "Oh, okay. I'll stop now." She smiles down at Eerie and looks towards one of their windows, "Oh, it's pretty dark outside, honey. We should get you to bed!"
"But mooooooooooom! Diamond doesn't go to bed this early!" The filly complained, making her mother sigh. "Well, I'll let you stay up a bit longer. Go play with your sister and I'll call you when it's time for both of you to go to bed."
Eerie squeals happily and quickly hugs her mom, "Thank you so much! I love you!"
Her mother smiled and returned the hug, "I love you, too, dear." She soon lets go and the filly immediately gallops upstairs. The mare shakes her head and giggles, "So silly..."
