Pinkie Pie Wants An Explaination
One day Twilight Sparkle is humming to herself reading one of her books it was so quiet downstairs she wondered where her friends where. Then Pinkie Pie called to her.
"Twilight come here for a second" Pinkie said. Twilight Sparkle growned. Pinkie Pie probably just did something random or mess something up so she went downstairs what she saw confused her. Pinkie Pie stood there in the living room. Twilight stood there.
"Twilight I found something while I was cleaning." Pinkie said going to reach for it.
Twilight instantly felt something rise up in her chest which was panic. She saw Pinkie Pie pulled out a handgun from Twilights dresser. Twilight felt afraid. Pinkie carefully held it in her her hand with a very serious look.
"Twilight I'm not playing around." Pinkie said in a stern tone. Why do you have a handgun? Did you steal it? Pinkie said in a stern voice.
Twilight had tears forming in her eyes she was stuttering
"I just wanted something to defend myself with that's all" Twilight cried.
"Twilight did you steal it? Because I know damn well you don't have a license!" Pinkie asked. Twilight sobbed. Pinkie Pie continued to glare at her
"No I don't have a license" Twilight sobbed.
"First of all never buy a gun illegally It can get you into a lot of trouble second of all you never place a gun in an unknown area! What would happen if a kid opened the drawer and played with it and killed themselves by accident!" Pinkie Pie said scolding her Twilight heaved and sobbed she was to upset with guilt and embarresment.
"I know my stuff! I have a firearm license! It's unbelievable I know! But I passed the test and everything Twilight! I own a firearm! And I know how to handle these you don't! You stored it someplace dangerous where I could have harmed myself! Pinkie scolded.
"I-I" Twilight stuttered.
"Also always always always keep the gun unloaded if it's not In use! What if you go to clean it and it goes off!? Always treat a gun like it's loaded to! Because it was loaded Twilight! Loaded!" Pinkie said loudly taking the bullets out. Twilight wiped at her tears but they kept coming she just sobbed. She tried to explain herself.
"Pinkie!....I...." Twilight said before sobbing. Pinkie continued but calm down a bit.
"Twilight do you know anything about firearm safety?" She asked calm but angry.
"No." Twilight said before sobbing.
"Then you shouldent own a gun it's common sense. Look... I'm sorry I yelled I'm just concerned. You need to learn about guns before legally owning one." Pinkie explained. Twilight nodded understandingly. She hugged Twilight. I'm going to return your gun where you got it and you can have it back after tests and classes okay and you get a license?" Pinkie said.
"O-Okay! Twilight said calming down.
In the following days Pinkie Pie schooled Twilight on a lot of subjects about guns and safety she also rented her a video on the tragedies on what was happening. Twilight learned more than she knew before but she had a lot of steps to go before she was considered eligible and safe to own a firearm. Pinkie acted like her old fun self like usual but when topics of gun safety came up she changed into full teaching mode. Twilight studied and did tests. Pinkie also showed Twilight her firearm license and how to handle a gun by using her own she had locked up in a cabinet. Twilight was initially shocked to know that Pinkie legally own a firearm but was shocked to know that she knew how to use it.
"Always keep it pointed to the floor never point it torwards someone!!" Pinkie said holding one like how she was supposed to while Twilight watched.
As this went on Twilight and Pinkie covered more subjects and Twilight became knowledgeable
She still studied though because she couldent own one yet. She paid close attention and as the shock wore off she started to enjoy her lessons and both her and Pinkie naturally were still friends even in student and teacher positions. Pinkie had her reasearch and study gun safety. Pinkie also showed her how to fire one at a firing range. She also confessed that she was a concealed carrier she always carried her firearm with her in case of self defense. Twilight was never even aware of that. She also thought Pinkie was to innocent to know about crime but she did. Pinkie also informed her friends to. They never berated Twilight they just were disappointed to know Twilight did something like that. But soon that wore off.
As months went by Twilight has become even knowledgeable but not enough where she could get a license. Twilight wanted one to but Pinkie told her to be paitent and wait it out for a bit until she was ready. Twilight agreed. She know knew another side to her friend. As much as Pinkie could be funny sometimes she at least was serious about guns. Twilight also searched up gun control and how the government was putting restrictions on it. She wanted to know what Pinkies idea was on it so she asked her and Pinkie Pie said that somethings she agrees with on gun control and some she doesn't.
Pinkie Pie believes that no one with a criminal record or without a license or had mental illness should own one.
Twilight was still conficted on the issue but Pinkie didn't mind about that she minded about Twilights education so she kept teaching her and she taught her about hunting. Pinkie Pie also informed Twilight's parents and Princess Celestia about what was going on and they all agreed with Pinkie in fact encouraged her.
A few years later Twilight got her license and her first firearm. After she did that she remembered what Pinkie Pie had taught her about gun safety. She would always remember that Pinkie Pie had taught her about gun safety.
