Starts fall so fast

Like every romantic love story, my parents love story started the same…

Two pony’s bashed against each other but when they looked again they saw each other properly. There was once a handsome Alicorn Stallion with a mane like the dark night sky and a coat with the colour of shadow and a beautiful mare alicorn with a mane more gold than the sun itself and a beautiful blonde coat meet each other, they thought they were the only ones of their kind until they met each other. They looked into each other’s eyes and true love had sprung upon them.

“umm hi, my name is umm Daylight, umm Daylight Shine. Sorry for bumping in to you, hehe” She said nervous and started blushing,

she put her hoof out so he would shake it.

“Hi umm Daylight, umm Daylight Shine, my name is Eclipse. It’s okay, C’est la vie!” He said jokingly and shacked her hoof.

“Do you speak Prench?”

“Yes, Romantique, non? And would you like to eat, Daylight? My treat!”

“Qui, très Romantique, of course but is this what you normally do when you meet strangers?

“Only if they are beautiful.”

“Ooh flattery! Are you the girl charming type?”

“No, what, no. They always find I look weird. You don’t because you are the same, well almost, well we look like opposites, no?”

“Are you nervous, yes you are!”

“Umm, we should go and find somewhere to eat. Umm, that looks good, le restaurant d’amoure!”

He pointed to a restaurant with a Prench theme, there were Prench flag sticking out of the side of the building and it was all painted white.

“Sounds nice and…Prench!”

So they walked to the place and walked inside. There was a board that said please wait in the que to be seated. So they waited a few minutes until a waiter came

“Bonjour, table for two, non?”

“Yes please!” Eclipse said a little to loud.

“Follow me please, Madame et monsieur.”

They followed the waiter to a table with roses on it and next to the table was a grape vine. The waiter went to get the menu’s while they sat down, then he came back with the menu’s.

“Here you go, I’ll be back in a few minutes to get your order.”

Daylight was reading the menu and laughing.

“What’s so funny?”

“The translation is horrible! Haha! Burger of hay! And milk of cows! Haha!”

“Hahahaha!”

They both where laughing loudly until Daylight snorted loudly. She started blushing and sunk in her chair, she felt like everyone was staring it her.

The waiter came back with a notepad in his hoof.

“What would you like to order?”

Daylight said “Burger of hay please and a non-fizzing water, please.”

She and Eclipse sniffled a bit and then she gave her menu to the waiter.

“And you, monsieur?”

“A croque-enfant and milk of cows please!”

Then they both sniffled again and Eclipse gave his menu.

“Your food will be here in a minute.”

“Thankyou” said Daylight.

The waiter walked to the kitchen.

Eclipse asked “Do you even know what a hay burger is?”

“No… it just sounded fun! And croque -enfant?”

“It’s a fancy way of saying cheese tostie. Basically.”

Daylight had her head leaning against her hoof and was staring at Eclipse with a smile. He looked at her and started blushing lightly, he stared into her big, beautiful gold-brown eyes. She started blushing to, she almost became pink.

“Hi”

“Hi”

The awkwardness and the level of blushing was building up until the waiter came with the food.

“Burger of hay pour madam.”

And he put the burger in front of her.

“And croque-entfant pour monsieur.”

The waiter put the plate in front of him.

“Have a nice meal, your drinks will come shortly.”

Then the waiter walked to the door to meet the next customers.

Daylight and Eclipse started eating.

When they were finished, there was an awkward silence.

“Umm, I have heard that it’s impolite to ask a lady how old she is, but how old are you?”

“Well… in alicorn years I’m 22, in pony years 22 000 000 years old, and you?”

“Umm… pony years 24 000 000, Alicorn years 24 years old.”

“24, nice age!”

“22 is more youthful by 2 000 000 years!”

“Well at least I know when I get an Alicorn year older, you will still be there… My parents could see me say my first word, they died before it could happen, all my friends….”

Daylight started crying, she put her head in her hoofs to hide her face. She tried to fight the tiers. Eclipse stood up and walked around the table to Daylight and comforted her.

“I understand, well, I don’t understand, because my parent are alicorns, but most of my friends have pasted.”

“Wait, what? You, you are the prince of Equestria? Sorry your majesty for this… umm can I every repay you suffer my flood of emotions!”

“Yes, that you call me Eclipse and that you date me.”

“Okay, that won’t be a problem.  But, umm Why?”

“Because…. Well, umm my parents would like me to find someone, a special someone… And they are trying to wed me to someone I don’t know… so I ran away.”

“So this was all an act?”

“No, of course not!”

Daylight raised an eyebrow.

“Really?”

“Oooh, cool, you can raise one eyebrow!”

“Very well done, you changed the subject successfully.”

“It’s what I do best!”

Daylight raised her eyebrow again and then put her face in her hooves and started giggling like a little filly. Then Eclipse went and sat back on his seat and saw the giggling mare and couldn’t help but laughing as well.

“Why are you giggling?!”

“I have no idea!! Ha-ha!”

“Do you forgive me for well... you know... kind of acting like I was just a random guy, but being a major character in Equestria.”

“Umm, you are half forgiven, I need to go but see you here in two weeks exactly!”

“Where are you going?”

daylight stood up and started walking away and waved.

“Work! Bye.”

“Bye”

He waved dreamy at her. He can’t wait until two weeks.
