The coversion bureau: spirit evolution
Prologue
Earth, once a blue and green planet, is under assault from outsiders. These outsiders are called ponies and they came proclaiming peace. This peace could be attained by using a potion that would change you into one of them but at a cost, it would seal their human mind inside them and leave a mindless creature called a newfoal. A newfoal would praise the leaders of the ponies, princess Celestia and Luna, and obey any pony command. The ponies believed changing humans into newfoals basically purified them and was the best choice because they knew of humanity's dark past. Some ponies believed that humanity was nothing more than species of misguided creatures that needed the ponies to get rid of their destructive instincts and natures to prevent any more wars and conflicts.
A small amount of humankind became newfoals, mostly the sick and the ones with disabilities. When this was happening two terrorist like groups sprang up. The first was the HLF, or human liberation front, they believed ponies should leave humanity alone and stop the conversion bureaus. The second was the PER, or ponies for earths rebirth, believed that the potion was a blessing that would cleanse humanity's "evil" souls.
When princess Celestia's former student, princess Twilight Sparkle, came to U.N. to speak about what they plan to do with with the bureaus, She said," The bureaus are ready to accommodate all of mankind".
That statement surprised some members of the U.N. and before anyone could say anything, she let some newfoals in to the room and said," Here is some of bureaus results and they couldn't be happier".
She was expecting mankind to be jealous of the newfoals, instead, it horrified mankind by what they had done to their own kind. What horrified mankind the most is how the potion had change their minds to the point that nothing remained of the person. Sensing the agitation she teleported away before anyone could attack her.
The ponies were shocked to hear that mankind had rejected their gifts and forced the bureaus to close. The ponies could not see past the darkness to see the light.
But then princess Celestia made a speech that was heard around the world," It has to pass that the humans have rejected our ideals to purify and cleanse them. If we cannot let purify them by choice, we have no choice but to purify them by force. That is the only way to stop their war and death loving ways. We came to purify their evil souls and we shall do it now! We will do it by war and this shall be the last war ever made on this planet! For Harmony! For Harmony!". She declared war on humanity, both ponies and the PER rejoiced in her name.
To help themselves win the war, the ponies created the barrier: a giant pink force field protecting equestria. But it had dark side effect: it would destroy humans and whatever mankind has ever built but leave ponies completely unharmed. The PER was then backed up completely by equestria and the HLF became unified with the U.N. to fight the ponies. A draft was made for all able bodied men and women to fight to protect their own species. After three years only the Americas remain and some of the remaining population is just about to give up. But some remember hope burns brightest in the darkest of situations and will still continue to fight to protect their existence.
When each of the digidestined returned home each and every of their parents were shocked of how much they changed in one day. Their parents are still mystified to this day as to how their children changed. Tommy had gotten a surprise a few years before the war in the form of a new little sister and she was named Samantha. She is just as energetic and funny as Tommy. Each one of the digidestined came to be the best in schools, with grades and with friends.
Our heros have grown older and have, sadly, grown apart throughout the years. They decided to keep their adventures in the digital world a secret until the time is right. The elder children are now in their early twenties and tommy is now eighteen. Before the war they each had tried to get wonderful jobs: J.P had became a magician and became friends with an obnoxious unicorn named trixie or as she would like to call herself "The Great and Powerful Trixie", Tommy had tried to become a police officer, Takuya tried to become a gym teacher, Zoey was a assistant teacher, and the twins, Kouji and Koichi, had tried to become martial arts instructors.
Each one of the heroes is placed in a random yet important location. Tommy is stationed in Alaska to protect the inhabitants. Takuya is stationed in L.A., California to fight the various PER groups situated there. J.P. is in the navy on the Roosevelt which is five hundred miles from the east coast. Kouji and Koichi are both in the same squad in Cascaval, Brazil. Zoey is a part of jet squadron that fights against multiple squads of pegasi.
Each one has made new friends in each location and are actually very popular. Not to mention, everyone's families except J.P. and Zoey's have moved near where their children are for support. Each one of their parents are proud that their children are protecting mankind. But little do they know a lot of old friends are coming. In fact, it may be the biggest surprise mankind has ever had altogether!
As for Katsuharu, Teppei, Chiaki, and Teruo, each became some the best friends towards the digidestined. Each learned lessons of friendship and courage thanks to them. Each strives to be as good as the digidestined and are getting close to succeeding. But what they don't know they getting very close to different kind of goal. One that will grant them unimaginable powers and abilities that they will be able to use.
Like the original digidestined, each one is stationed at a place of importance. Katsuharu is stationed at the south American city of Salvador, which has been transformed into a metal working city to help the HLF. Teppei is stationed at a coal mine California that is known for it's rocky and almost barren landscape. Chiaki is stationed at the Hawaiian islands trying to prevent it's assimilated into the barrier. Teruo is stationed at the rainforest in South America trying to find pony and PER related groups hidden in the jungle.
Their families were not able to move like the digidestined families could. Though their families couldn't come, they still call to show how proud they are of their children and what they are doing. Very soon though their going more surprised than proud altogether. But what is better: being proud or being surprised?
While humanity is fighting for it's very existence, the ponies cheering on knowing that they are getting closer to their goal of purifying humankind. The entire city of Canterlot is celebrating its heroes and the new purified humans. The party was called "We almost won the war party" by a pink pony. The party was created from the fact that they now have more purified ponies in existence than war and death loving humans. Streamers hang from the top of the room and lovely music fills the air. Ponies dance with total joy and talk about.
Six ponies of various colors are mingling with each other with the same joyful air.
"Rarity, are you excited or nervous?!" Says fast talking pink pony known as Pinkie pie while shaking a white unicorn. "Or are nervouscited that we will have a lot of new friends?!".
"Pinkie, I am excited but could you please not ruin my mane. It took me hours to get it this way," says a posh white unicorn named Rarity.
Another voice came", Ah'm also 'cited pinkie because of how many new hooves ah have at mah farm." Came from Applejack, a rough and tumble light orange country pony.
"I'm just excited that we are creating peace and stopping meanies. I can't wait to meet all the nice newfoals that are coming." Says a shy butterscotch yellow pegasus.
"I can't wait to try to race all of them at once. But you know how that will end," Says a cyan pegasus with an arrogant attitude with the name Rainbow Dash.
"Twilight, are you alright? You look a little down." Asks fluttershy
"I'm fine fluttershy, it's just I can't believe that the humans didn't accept our ways to make them peace once and for all. It we hadn't of come here they would just keep making conflicts and wars to point of their own extinction. I thought they come to be converted in large numbers but they decided to stay human. I'm just trying to find out why," Says a downcast Twilight.
"Don't let get to twi soon there will be no conflicts and war to worry about. To harmony! Who's with me? To harmony!" Yells Rainbow.
"TO HARMONY! TO HARMONY! TO HARMONY!" Everypony says at once celebrating the harmony they thought their kind was bringing. Little did they know this was the last victory party for the ponies.
In an unknown location, three beings sat and spoke to one another. One was a large pink and golden furred rabbit like creature, the others were large angel like beings.
"It is time to see how the digidestined are doing for we have managed to return to full power," Says the female angel being.
"Do you think that they spoke about their adventures?" Asks the large rabbit creature.
"I do not believe so," said the male angel, "Humans believe that their world is incapable of such things and besides, who would've believe a bunch a children,".
"I will now open a small portal to see how their world is doing," says the female angel. She began to pour her energy into a small space and condensing it into a sphere. It began to become solid as time passed and once it became solid, it slowly floated down into her hand. It began to glow brightly and the angel couldn't help but gasp from what it she sees in the orb.
"What is it?" Both the male angel an the large rabbit ask at such a reaction. She does not speak instead she just gives them the orb. The two couldn't help but gasp too from the sight. What they see is humans fighting against colorful creatures similar to pegasusmon or unimon. At times a humans would kill one of the creatures with their weapons or one of the creatures would throw a strange glowing bottle that holds a strange looking fluid that would hit a human, only for the human to painfully transform into one of the creatures. The three watch in shock as the battle unfolded but the creatures are clearly gaining the upper hand. The three beings watch the battle in silence until the last soldier is converted. The humans that had been converted looked as if they have been turned into brainwashed zombies and appear to act like it too.
"What has happened to their world?" Asks the male angel with a horrified tone in his voice "Their world is in danger," says the large rabbit in a angry tone, "These beings appear to want to convert humanity into their kind and want to make it so that humanity never existed on their world".
"The digidestined saved and protected our whole world including us," said the female angel with tone of confidence, "Now it is time to return their favor".
"We must act now. Time travels faster here than in their world," said the large rabbit urgently, "We must let their spirits know,".
Each one the creatures gets up and leave the throne room quickly before running or flying down the stairs. When they get to the bottom of the steps, they're met with the sight of all ten spirits standing there with see-through bodies. Everyone of the spirits say at once,
"We sense our counterparts are in danger, we must go,". Their voices commanded respect and power.
"Wait, I thought not all of you had partners. There was six children that were worthy," Asks Seraphimon.
"We do now, for four others have become worthy of our power," They speak once more.
"We have no time for questions or meaningless squabbles," Cherubimon says urgently, "We must open a portal and send not only the spirits but many digimon that will fight on the digidestined's behalf,".
"I concur with Cherubimon, we must open a portal. However, let us send you spirits first and then find digimon ready to fight in this time of peace," Ophanimon says urgently. The three angel digimon move to stand in a circle and place their hands up in the air. The air begins to fill with their power and in the center of them, a small hole in the air starts to grow. The hole grows larger and larger until the entire room has a swirling black mass is above their heads.
"How will know where to find your partners?" Orphanimon asks.
"Most of us are bound to our partners and can sense where they are. The rest have not bonded to our partners but can still sense them faintly," Says the spirit Agunimon. The spirits jump one by one into the portal, and the three angel digimon close it when the last spirit jumps into.
"There is a legend that if a digimon were to appear in their world, it would cause chaos and destroy their world. For their sake let them that be false, for there will be more than one sent into that world," Cherubimon says while smirking.
"Ughhh!!" Pinky Pie yells out suddenly while shaking before looking afraid.
"I just had a doozy!!" She screams in a panic.
"Why do you look so afraid, Pinkie Pie?? Your predictions are not usually bad," Says a confused Twilight.
"This was a bad doozy!! Something dangerous is coming everypony hide!!!" She screams before digging into the floor at breakneck speed. This causes everyone to look terrified and the party to end with a fear spreading rapidly. The other ponies including the princesses and the other heroes of equestria to look terrified. The princess wrote a message to all ponies in existence to prepare for something big that was coming, however, they are still pretty confident that they could win the war. What a foolish thing to do.
