Vol 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter One. Vol 1 The great war waged between the three factions. Angels, The Fallen, and The Devils fought one and the other for power over the other and simple domination. What is not a well known event during this war was an incident with a strange dragon and the two princesses who punished him for his crimes. A great battle raged all around. Angels from heaven engaging their fallen brethren while the Devils fought them both. It was bloody, it was war. It was CHAOS. No one ever noticed reality being ripped open to the side of the battle, a small, simple tear. The hole was small big enough for a eye. On the other side an eye was watching the battlefield. It drew back then was replaced by a talon. With a swing the tear opened wider. The sound of laughter was heard across the battlefield. It was demented, mad, and full of joy. "Oh my I knew I felt something chaotic, and I was right! Dear war, my old friend it's so nice to see you once more!" The voice caught the combats attention causing them to stop their fighting. The tear glowed as something flew out of it. Before them was entity who looked like someone took a whole bunch of creatures, cut them up, and put them together on a single body. "What in the world is that...?" An angel asked, an sense of wrong creeping all over its skin. "That? I am not "that" you winged, hairless ape." The creature rose up as it magic flared, washing over them like waves of an endless ocean, an ocean of chocolate milk. It wasn't long for them to realize what it really was that they were facing. A dragon, a mass of energy, and among the strongest races in exist. "I am Discord, I am Chaos itself!" He wore a devious grin, like a hat. "Oh by the way are these yours?" He said holding up his wings. The angel turned to realize he was wingless and soon fell the the ground below. "Oh well looks like I broke him," Discord said tossing the wing behind himself, like they were worthless trash, then summoning up an umbrella which he opened, showing it was folded backwards. "Still I got all of you wonderful, new, toys to play with don't I?" He said with sadistic grin, one found on mad, murderous tyrants.. He gave a snap of his talons and chaos once again broke loose, or was stirred to rise. The clouds change colors and zip around firing lighting, marbles, and chocolate milk rain. The ground started the become poka dots and parts rose up from the ground to float around. The factions momentarily united, turning their magic and blades to the strange being as everything started to get even MORE chaotic. In a flash Discord disappeared and reappeared next to them dressed in a toga with a cowboy hat. "Oh so that's how it is will it?" He asked summoning a rubber chicken, then holding it in a swordsman stance. "Have at the!" Several more Fallen Angels, Devils, and Angels look out at the strangeness in front of them. In any other event they should be fighting. However after sensing the immense magic, they came to investigate the new player in the war. They went inside the weird were the strange Discord was "playing" with his "toys". He held them on cotton strings over a pool of boiling chocolate. Discord then saw the three and simply waved with an extra appendage that manifested on his nose. "Oh hello there." In a flash he was gone and his voice came from behind them. "Are they yours?" Discord asked before simply appearing in front of them sitting on a throne of glass cups, "Well they are mine so beat it before I turn you into swiss cheese… in fact why not?" Discord said, lifting his talons as the thumb rises up like a sight, the tip of the claw pointing at them glowing with immense magic. Discord lowered the thumb making the energy shot out in the form of a bullet, a loud bang heard each time the thumb hit the pointed claw. Thankfully, for them at least, they were perfect enough at dodging to avoid The bird behind them however wasn't so lucky. "Stand still!" Discord growed as he fired over and over again, the sound of gunfire filling the air. Meanwhile the tear behind him started to glow again. This time a yellow and blue aura forcing it open, stretching it wide as two voices scream, "DISCORD!" Two voices yelled at once, Discord turned his head pulling down 3D glasses that are suddenly over his head. The tear reopened enough for two anthprothic horses to walk out, each face set in a grim determination. One white coated with a four colored rainbow mane, flowing form an unfelt wind giving the impression of the sun. The other horse, shorter than the white one, colored dark blue with a mane like that of a window into the night sky itself. This mane, like the other flowed gracefully. On their backs were a pair of wings, flared, and on there head swirling unicorn horns. The magic that simply radiates from them was enough to wow anyone, nowhere near as malevolent as the chimera's sitting on the throne of glasses. "Celey, Lulu? You followed dear, little, old me?" Discord asked in a flattered tone. In response the shorter, dark blue horse fired a beam of one aimed right at his head. Discord dodged it quite easily, the glasses shatter harshly, but over plays his surprise by a prolonged blink of his eyes. "I take that this isn't a friendly visit?" "Discord, do you think you can just simply walk away from what you have done?!" Celestia asked as she and Luna flew up to face him. "Why yes I do!" Discord answered nonchalantly, He looked at the two catching a spear fired at him by fallen angel without even looking, "Bad toys, I'll play with you later but now I have to deal with some old ones.." Discord said as a cage formed around them form candy canes. They tried to break it but it simply stretches and throws them back with the same force. Discord turned and flew up to the two Alicorns. "You still think you stand a chance against me?" Discord asked. He flared up his power. Celestia and Luna flared up there's there horns glowing. "YOU WILL NOT GET AWAY WITH YOUR CRIMES." Luna screamed her voice echoing. Discord saw Celestia's glare. She was in agreement. "Fine! I let you both live because I was amused!" Discord was the first to make a move appearing behind them he grab and tossed them both into a floating wall. In a flash the two sisters appearing Celestia blasting him and Luna delivering a kick to his stomach. Discord sniped around from the impact stopping he summoned up catapulted of pie and letting them loose. The sisters dodged it the pies exploded. The flight of the explosion caught the two's attention for a moment. Discord drank a glass of chocolate milk. By that the glass itself. "It's about to get real!" Most of the captives tried to destroy the cage or at the very least pick the lock. A few watched the issuing fight between the newcomers. "Blast we are getting nowhere, you don't mind me asking how the fight going?" A fallen angel asked. "Well, I can say whatever this Dragon did it really pissed those ladies off." One the devil said. All around them massive bursts of sunlight, things from people's nightmares battled the strange attacks of the dragon as they danced around firing at each other. Discord danced around the blast from the white Alicorn only to get a punch from the blue one. Discord turned his head at her. Killing intent flared for a moment as he gathered energy for a blast at her. Celestia blasted him with a beam of sunlight driving him sight into the ground she. Discord got up only for Luna to blast him down. Discord growled at them."Is that all you got?" His answer with the two of them gathering energy. "Stella Nova!" "Final Eclipse." Discord looked as a miniature sun and a huge ball of dream energy slammed right at him. A explosion filled the battlefield as the cage started to fade away . A crater formed from the impact of the two attacks with the two flying over it. "Sister is it over?" Luna asked "No dear Lulu…" The dust rose up as Discord appeared. His fur was burned off blood could be seen from a few of his wounds. Also he was mad. Really mad. "YOUR OVER!" He screamed his power flaring around him as he rose up the princesses fired a blast only to find out there wings and horns were in Discords hands. "NO WINGS, NO HORNS, AND SOON NO SUN AND MOON!" Discord formed a blasted to fire at them. "SISTER THE ELEMENTS!" Luna screamed. Celestia reached into a pocket and out flew up six gems. Discord let loose at them. As the blast covered them he laughed at there destruction. "See you can't stop me I'm… WHAT IN THE NAME OF CHAOS!" The two sisters were were inside a shapere of magic formed by the gems. Discord talons glowed to destroy them. Nothing happened. "Impossible." The gems started to spin around the two there wings and horns returning. "This is the end of you Discord." Celestia said as the gems glowed ready to fire. "Never!" Discord screamed he fired a blast of chaos right as the gems fired a rainbow colored blast. The two stalemated right in the middle between them. Discord and the sisters would not give a inch. On Discord's face was for the first time in his life was fear. "No.. no no no!" However at that moment something hit him in the back. For a moment his concentration was broken. That was all need. The rainbow plowed through his beam and struck him. As the rainbow washed over him his body started to turn to stone. "No!" Discord screamed as his head the last part turned to stone. In a flash everything was set right. Two youngs played in the park. This would be there lasts day together. Issei friend Irina would be moving away with her family to england soon. As they did three figures appeared in front of them. A hand slapped it hoping to snooze… but missed and instead ended up flipping onto the floor. "Issei time to get up." A voice rang out. "You don't want to miss your first day of school." He got up and started to get dressed in the schools uniform. "I don't know why they make you wear this, there no polka dots!" The voice of Discord rang in his head. "Discord, please don't ruin my first day of high school please?" Issei said in response to the spirits comment, "Look, if you behave you can invert the cloths of any bullies we come across. Deal?" "Fine. Hey what if they have a water fountain?" "We turn it into a chocolate milk fountain, like always." Issei chuckled. "Well we better not keep your parents waiting." Discord finished. Issei slid into the kitchen by jumping into his laundry bin and coming out of the pantry doorway. "Hey mom, what's for breakfast?" he asked with a mischievous grin. "Oh eggs, and…" Issei took his plate and eat it so fast it looked like it was in one go. "That was great, got to go love you bye." Issei said as he raced outside. "How does he do that?" Issei's mom said to herself before dismissing the thought and placing Issei's plate in the dishwasher. "That never gets old." Discord chuckled as Issei and him catch a glimpse of the former's mother's reaction as they went out the door and off towards the High School. Kuoh Academy, it was an all girls school and had only recently became co-ed. As Issei walked on the grounds he felt something. "Hey Discord, do you feel that?" He asked in a low voice. "Oh yes, be on your guard you are not the only magical being here." Discord said. He knew this energy. It was from those bat winged humans. There was a crowd of girls throughout the school and as they saw Issei they made comments like "Who's that?" "Is he lost?" "Whats going on?" and many more… But Issei didn't mind, he had more concerning matters to deal with. "Hi there! what's your name?" A girl with long black hair said as she appeared from Issei's blind spot. "Oh sorry, Didn't see you there I am Hyouduo Iss…" He didn't get to finish as he heard two voices screaming at him. "Issei!." "I forget they go here." Issei said, with a sigh. "Remind me again, why are you still friends with them?" Discord asked, he had to wonder why Issei hasn't turned them into dogs, or cheese. The two in question was what the academy called the perverted duo. 'I ask myself that question every time I see them.' -timeskip- "School is boring." Discord said with a groan. "Class just started." As soon as class ended Issei knocked on his head trying to wake up Discord, who had fallen asleep from boredom. "Who... wha… What did I miss?" Discord slurred as he snapped awake. "Class is over Discord." Issei said as the sound of celebration began in his head. "However this was first period." The sounds of celebration immediately stopped. "Now that just ruined my good mood…" Discord pouted as he scanned the room again, "By the way, the strange energy I felt earlier is still here." Issei looked around the room. There was him and a few others. "Well there is a few others here, anyone specific?" Issei asked. "Only that they are looking at you… And they are headed this way!" Discord warned as warning sirens began to play in Issei's head. Issei looked around on alert only to see no one was walking up to him. "This is payback for waking you up and tricking you isn't it?" Issei asked. Discord didn't respond to the question. "Don't ignore me." -timeskip- "Discord you may now celebrate school is over, for real this time." Issei said as he got up as last period was finished. "It's still following you…" Dischord commented with a serious tone. "Really?" Issei asked, he turned behind him to find his follower. Ever since second period something was following him. Discord was busy keeping track of his stalker. "Should we just teleport and lose it?" Issei asked. "No, that would be a bad idea. they would continue to tail you every time you came to school if you did that…" Discord said, "we'll lose them in the park!" Issei gave a nod and took off for the park. Issei had a smile as they soon got there. "Ok lets try a little misdirection." He passed into some bushes. 'Issei' came running out the other end heading for the mall. After a few moments Issei the real one walked right out the bushes. "How long before our follower realizes that's a fake construct?" Issei asked. -later- "Hi." "She's the anomaly that's been following you." Discord said as he remained on edge. 'Wait seriously?' Issei asked. Discord rolled his eyes. "Issei, now I got too go." "Wait I wanted to ask you something." Issei stopped and raised a eyebrow. "A-are, you seeing anyone?" "No?" "Would you want to go out with me?" "So let me get this straight? On it was latters each one from a different alphabet and five hands. "It's almost noon, hey Discord I forgot to ask which movie should we see?" "How about Star Wars?" Discord offered. Issei had to laugh at that. "Sure why not." Finally there date ariffed. "Sorry I was late, so what are we watching?" Yuuma said. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Issei answered. "The weather for tonight will be gingerbread X-wing fighters with R2-D2 plushie's, with a side of General Akbar." Discord stated as he started to make an imaginary list. The two well three watched the movie, soon afterwards got a small bite to eat and finally ending the date in the park. "I had a wonderful time but can I ask you something?" Yuuma asked. 'Hey Discord do you think she will make her move now?' Issei asked. "Most likely, but can I say one thing? IT'S A TRAP!" Discord replied as he started to play warning sirens and ringing alarm bells. 'Yes Discord I know that, What are you so worried about?' Issei asked "Yes what is it?" "Will you die for me?" She asked her aura flaring In a flash two black feathered wings formed on her back and her outfit became. Well it showed more skin. In her hand a spear of light started to form. 'Hey Discord, do you know what she is?' Issei asked. "Fallen angel! Run!" Discord screamed in panic. "It's been fun like playing with a animal." The Fallen angel girl tossed the spear. It pierced right into Issei heart. "Oh no my heart… ach… I'm dieing." Issei started to say in a overlay dramatic fashion. "I see a light…. it burns…." He jump up and feel on the ground his eyes in Xs. After a few moments Issei got up. "Not buying it?" He asked. He gave a sigh removing the spear. "Discord she not buying it!" Issei yelled to himself. "Run you fool!" Discord said as he imitated gandalf as the the fallen prepared another spear and aimed at Issei's head. "If piercing your heart won't work I'll just destroy your brain you freak!" Yuuma shrieked. "Yeah... no. gotta catch me first!" Issei said with a snap he ran away. He dodged a spear again. "Hey Diss, can you tell me how to fly now?!" Issei screamed asked. "You don't have enough magic to use that spell for long enough to do anything useful!" Discord said as he teleported Issei to the center of the park, "If she manages to follow you this far someone that might help you is nearby this location." "Yeah, hey Discord mind me asking, why is she trying to kill me?" Issei asked. "Most likely she mistakes your aura for a sacred gear." Discord answer. "What is a sacred gear?" "Oh it was something that humans get to fight supernatural forces, you see I was going to be made into one… but I wasn't dead so I attempted to break out during the ritual. Both my statue and the gear were destroyed as I was trying to escape, technically speaking I am a incomplete sacred gear… and your past self at the same time." Discord said. "Oh… wait do you know how sacred gear work? Maybe that could help us?" Issei asked. "If you want to actually use my powers instead of just mimic them then I can become your sacred gear, but you have to give something up in return!" Discord said, he didn't like being used or told what to do but this kid had grown on him and he didn't feel like dieing again any time soon. "Well how about my heart then?" Issei asked. And whats with this aura that feels like I'm drinking chocolate milk!?" Said a girl that landed between Issei and yuuma, causing the fallen to pause. "What get out of here devil this doesn't concern you!" Yuuma yelled at the girl. "Oh wait Issei I was wrong, I mistook devil with fallen angel again." Discord's voice was heard to all. "Discord I think you just spoke… to everyone." Issei said as his eyes were still a bit loopy from the energy. Shaking his head he saw that the girl in front of him was Rias one of the academy queens. "Rias is a devil? Oh boy wait till everyone here this." Issei said with a smile. "Ok, what was that voice? And if you say anything about this to anyone I will not hesitate to silence you." Rias said as she glared at Issei "Well hello to you. I am Discord, the 'Dragon of Chaos'. Also, Issei aren't you forgetting the crow?" Discord said causing Issei to blink in realization. "Oh right." He snapped his figures the trees moved and grabbed Yuuma out of the sky. "What!?" Yuuma said as she noticed the trees wrapped around her before faceplanting into the ground. "Ok now then, 'Yuuma' mind telling me why you attempted to kill me?" Issei asked. "Yeah, I get the feeling you're taking orders from someone, also you bats buzz off Issei will talk to you next chapter." Discord said. "What?" Luna asked Celestia turned to her younger sister. The tear opened wide as it became a portal. It spit out a figure draped in a cloak. The figure walked around the park as if searching for something. It stopped and knelt down and felt the ground with a leather glove."Discord was here." A feminine voice could be heard from the cloaked figure. A breeze washed over her as she looked up at the moon, pulling down her hood a wave of bacon, colored hair was saw in the moonlight. "So let me get this straight, you waited until the day after to tell me that my powers don't always work?" Issei asked as he walked to school. Discord had put it off why his powers didn't work when he wanted it to. Apparently being a incomplete sacred gear meet the powers didn't always worked, or will work without you using it. Issei learned the second one when he awoke drowning under cream soda. "Don't worry after a few days or weeks your body should be synchronized with my powers it can bypass the whole 'incomplete sacred gear'... probably." Issei gave a sigh at this. He had also promised to meet with Rias at the occult research club, and not reveal the fact she was a devil to everyone at school. As they set foot into the school grounds a tingling feeling was felt in Issei's spin. "Hey do you know what that is?" Issei asked. "I sense magic that I haven't felt for a long time," Discord said, if he had eyes they would be wide as dinner plates, "Equestrian magic." For a moment Issei saw out the corner of his eyes a girl with red and yellow colored hair. "Can she sense you?" Issei whispered. "I hope not I'm keeping our magic down." Discord said. As class started the teacher turned to everyone. "Everyone we have a new exchange student, so be on your best behavior." The bacon haired girl from before walked right in. "Hello everyone I'm Sunset, don't asked why my name is that, nice to meet you all." Her eyes turned to Issei. "She knows…" "This is not going to end well…" Issei muttered to himself. Sunset took a seat in the empty desk right next to Issei. She wrote a note and when the teacher wasn't looking handed it to him. Issei opened it while sirens blared in his head. I know. -later- Turns out Sunset had all but one of his classes. The last period class was the only one were she wasn't with them. "Discord stop blaring the siren it's getting annoying." "Not until that Pony goes back to her world, or we are a mile away from her!" Discord replied. "Well class is about to end and we have to meet Rias I think we be saved from her." Issei said hoping to get his partner to stop freaking out. Class finally ended as the classmates headed off to either home, the mall or after school activities. Issei walked out and headed for the old school building were Rias told him to go. However the tingle was still being felt. He turned around only to not find Sunset anywhere. 'Great now I'm getting paranoid.' He finally came to the old building to be greeted by Kiba the schools prince. "So he's a devil as well? Hia you owe me a cream soda!" Discord said being heard by them both. "Oh alright." Issei said -10 mintues later- "No. Never in a hundred, or a billion years. If you as so much as attempt this I will force those out and render them unusable! GET THIS THOUGH THE THING ON YOUR SHOULDERS I WILL NOT TOLERATE SEVERING ANYONE!" Discord screamed. This rant of his was finally coming to a close, after ten minutes. After they meet Rias and the whole occult research club, which was actually a front for her and her peerage. After showing them a bunch of chess pieces, she explained how they were Evil Pieces designed to reincarnate people into devils. However the moment she asked Issei was the moment Discord went ballistic. Rias attempted to persuade the Chaos Dragon. However as Issei knew she was doomed to fail. Discord loved his freedom. "You done?" issei asked. "Yes I'm done." Discord answered. 'Danm it, this is going to make things more difficult.' Rias thought to herself. "Well, then might I suggest joining the occult research club then?" Rias asked. "Join as in not being a servant? What's in it for us?" Discord asked, he let Issei hear what was the pros of joining. He had picked up the energy of the Pony girl. 'Let's see, unicorn from what I can tell, what? Only high class? Tia I'm shocked I am so low on there priorities.' "Ok so that's out of the way we'll be going…" Issei got cut off as a silvered haired girl voiced up after walking in. "There's someone at the door asking for Discord." She said cutting them off. "Bacon colored hair?" Discord asked. She nodded. "Faust Damn it." Discord groaned. "It take it you know her?" Rias asked, she had been watching the girl since she appeared. Her aura wasn't like anything she had encountered. "No I don't but she's here for Discord." Issei answered, the sirens started to blare once again within his mind causing his eyes to twitch. "Discord enough with the warning sirens!" Issei screamed into the air. "Fine.' Discord turned them off allowing Issei to think clearly for a moment. 'How about we just talk to here?' He asked. 'Fine but when this doesn't work I will not let you live this down got it!' Sunset waited outside the old school building for 'Discord' to come out and meet her. She may look calm and composed on the outside, but inside she was on edge. This was Discord she was about to come face to face with. She rubbed the bracelet on her wrists. If worse came to worse this would be her trump card against him. The other thing that unnerved her with the other energy she was sensing in the building. A chill came up her spin. It was so… familiar to her. Her head hurt when she first felt it. 'Breath Sunset, it's nothing remember what Celestia taught you.' Finally the door opened as 'Discord' walked out. "Sorry to keep you waiting, look mind if we talk?" Issei asked. "Talk?" Sunset asked skeptically, "About what? How you will get revenge?" "While that is tempting, oh so much so. "When Tia and Lulu leaved my statue in this world I got picked up for an experiment they tried to bind me into a sacred gear, unfortunately for them I was still alive so I tried using it to set myself free.
