Sky "Skysaac" Lark, a systems engineer for the Cadenza Extraction Corporation, is sent on a routine maintenance mission to the USG Pinkimura after a mysterious communications blackout occurs, leaving the thousands of ponies aboard the ship, including Sky's girlfriend, stranded in the dark.

Upon reaching the Planetcracker vessel, Sky's team boards it, only to find what can only be described as a virulent nightmare that has gone completely out of control, and consumed almost the entirety of the Pinkimura's crew. Soon, Sky's objective transforms from a normal repair mission, into just finding her girlfriend and getting out alive.
