The colors of the rainbow. The color of harmony itself. Red, for energy. For lasting through a dark age in optimism and hope. For a party-goer that loves to party and hold a celebration for NO reason. Orange, for joy. For being happy even in the most dark times. For feeling joyful no matter the situation. For a persevering fruit farmer. Yellow, for happiness. For always being up when you’re down. For never giving up, even when asked to. For a sewer not afraid to try new things, whether it’s good or bad, for the sake of just because. Green, for a nature lover. For loving nature more than one’s self. For contributing to nature’s miracles and to care for wildlife. For one who cares more about nature than one’s own residence. Blue, for loyalty. For one who cares more about the task at hand than nothing except one’s life. For always staying on task and remembering to do the job with haste and precision. For an ecstatic, open-minded, believer. And finally, Violet, for ambition. For someone who does it because one can. For a one who would try new things. For a one who has mastered the magic of friendship. A rainbow often occurs after a bad event, like rain. However, on a larger scale, it can happen after all events. Whether it be an act of terrorism, or a small argument, or an international arms race, rainbows can be described in one way: unity. What is unity? It generally cannot be described in one person, however, a whole can describe it well. A unity is when a group of individuals strive to complete one task, whether positive or negative. There is no such thing as an individual that contains unity, unless that individual is perfect and flawless is all aspects in personality terms, and that is not existent. The closest you can get would be a quartet formed by the Sun, Moon, and the Stars, and the driving force that makes us who we are, love. These four forces combined can bring peace to any state, and can balance each other out when necessary. It’s told among our generation that a long time ago, the sun and the moon fought a great war that lasted very shortly, but didn’t make peace until one thousand years. There was a great war within the forces of love that drove away the embodiment of evil herself. But most of all, there is no important trait above one else. Why would a loyal person be unambitious? Why would a nature lover not have joy? Why would a happy person not have energy? However, there was an answer at one point. Each color was made into embodiments that didn’t need a check or a balance. Red-Orange appeals to energy and joy, a sexual passion or desire. A sexual desire without need for ambition, nature, loyalty, happiness becomes lust. Gold appeals to joy and happiness, a rich and wealthy lifestyle. They don’t need energy, or nature, or loyalty, or ambition, since they have everything they want. A yellow-green appeals to happiness and nature, or isolation. They don’t have or need energy, or joy, or loyalty, or ambition. They already have everything they want, nothing. A blue-violet color represents ambition and loyalty, a slave like quality, to complete everything that one is told, whether it be a bad deed, a sexual task, or even a righteous task in some cases. This ignores all other traits. Finally, brick-red, symbolizing energy and ambition. This type of individual will not stop for anything, even if asked. This one will form new things, good or bad, ignoring joy, happiness, loyalty, and nature. You may have noticed I skipped aqua. This is because loyalty and nature always get along with other traits, as long as it is not addicting. These, these are the colors of disharmony. They are a counter to the colors of harmony. And will remain a counter, no matter what the cost, even if it means war, death, destruction, and disease. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Way of Life //-------------------------------------------------------// The Way of Life You know, when you think of a school containing the likes of Northern Manehattan Middle School, you think of wonderful things. You think of laughter, kindness, honesty, friendship, loyalty, generosity, all of those values, as we are taught by our teachers and by the Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends. We are taught to use these values day, night, anytime, anywhere, even if nobody is watching, and to avoid bad values like greed, sexual pleasures, isolation, slavery, creativeness that passes ethics, and hatred. We live and love these positive values, and it’s hard to believe that just six years ago, a fight would happen on an average of every two days. It was a shithole. Our school’s colors are White and Green, symbolizing a purity in nature, and it looks good on jerseys, especially the reflective hoofball ones. They’re pretty. We’ve also been told that our colors determine who we are. My best friend, Festive Light, loves the colors blue and red, which I think is a bad combination, but i’m not Festive Light, am I? I’m not, my favorite two colors are green and blue, and I especially think aqua is a great combination, even with brown, even though nobody else likes it. My favorite shirt that says “Hoofball is life” is aqua with a black text and a simplistic black stripe scheme down the sides and around my torso. It fits perfectly and even has wing slots that match me perfectly. It’s great. I know this kid i’m an acquaintance with named Peach Blossom. She’s a wonderful pony, but has slight issues. A week previous she got her cutie mark which looks kinda like a bit. Lucky. I want money as my cutie mark. I haven’t gotten mine yet. I’ll probably get a toilet or something. Manehattan North was built in a not rich, but not ghetto low density residential district called “House Open Unified Space for Environmental Industry for the Next-Generation, cleverly (or not?) made into an acronym we call “HOUSING”, which I personally think is stupid. As such, the east campus is located at a high-density rich residential district, west is in a commercial area, south in a low-residential, low income area and central in a high-density, low-income neighborhood. All schools are rivals with each other and a few days ago, there was a shooting at an elementary school in south side where a SMMS student shot a teacher. Yeah, our schools are that fucked up. I have friends in all districts. I met a filly named “Applejack” or something like that in Manehattan East. She lives in Ponyville but was there visiting her Uncle and Aunt. She ran away and I never saw her again. I guess somepony stole her name and became famous. I know Ryder, another filly who lives in the Manehattan South. She has a very run down house and I have very good memories with her, whether it’s tag, or hide-and-seek, or just anything. We really like each other. I know a lot but those are the two I choose when somepony. My day always starts the same: wake up, shower, eat something, brush, get my backpack, go outside to wait for the bus, forget something, run back in, get that thing, and come back out to barely make it to the bus. I’m almost accustomed to it. The school I go to is far beyond Ringer Street, the street I live on. It’s on North Main instead, a larger road about 4 miles from where I live. I take the bus that says “Manehattan North” on it and ride it to school where I get off and trip, due to how short I am. I’m probably the shortest in the graduating class. I’m kinda popular in my classes due to how much of a class clown I am. I pay attention but somehow maintain a 2.5 GPA. Since i’m in 8th grade, i’ve fulfilled enough to go to high school so I don’t have that many classes. I have a math class, and english class, a woodshop, and a Flying Class, and that’s just pretty much it. I stay for lunch, then go home where I love to draw and write. I’m home by around 12:30 PM so I just take a nap until then draw or read. I also take a dancing class and a self-defence class, but i’ve never been in a dance off or a fight, and probably never will be. In simpler terms, I wake up, I eat, I go to school, I eat, I come home, I eat, I draw or write, I eat, then I go to sleep. And I must say, it’s a very nice way of life. I don’t gain weight often, so I just eat what I feel like. And that’s it. I don’t comb my mane or tail, so it’s very much like Rainbow Dash’s with the exception that I have a 75% gray mane and a 25% gray tail. I have a snow white coat, but I don’t think it accents the tail or mane well. On the contrary, everyone else does, and I still ask myself whether it’s a good thing or a bad thing.
