Chapter 1: A Surprise

"Girls!" Spike yelled as he ran to his friends, "I have a letter from Princess Celestia!" Six big and four small heads turned to look at the dragon including his own son.

"What does it say?" Twilight asked as she levitated the letter towards her and started reading aloud "While you girls were busy with the foals, Princess Cadence and Shining Armor had their colt." Twilight dropped the letter and gasped.

"Whoa, does it say if it's a unicorn or pegasus?" Rainbow asked her rather shocked friend.

"Ooohhh, I have to make some cute baby clothes," Rarity said and ran off to her boutique to do so.

"OHMYGOSH WE NEED TO THROW A PARTY FOR THEM," realizing she was yelling pinkie quieted down, "I'll go tell Cheese." She then bounced away.
