Ponyville High
New School Year
Load Full StoryNext ChapterEarly one morning, students were flowing off the buses and pouring into the high school. I was one of them. My name is Crystal Harmony, and this is my new school, Ponyville High. My old school was a bit hard on me, so my parents and I moved here. I thought about the dream I had last night, with a black haired boy that was around my age. I shook my head and tried to push the thought aside, but it didn't go away. As I walked through the doors, I sighed. Come on, Crystal. I told myself. You can do this. You can get through this year. That's what I hoped anyway.
"Crystal Harmony?" A staff member called my name. I looked forward and saw a woman roughly in her 30's walking towards me. She had blue skin, blue-white hair, and blue eyes. "I'm Vice Principal Luna. My sister Principal Celestia asked me to take you to her office." She told me. I shifted my bag on my shoulders and nodded. As we entered the office, there was Principal Celestia sitting in her chair.
"Crystal." She said, smiling. "Welcome to Ponyville High. This is your first year here, right?" She asked me.
"Yes, it is, ma'am." I finally spoke. I was normally a shy person. Celestia pushed a button on her intercom.
"Cadence, could you send Galaxy Nebula down to my office, please? I would like for him to show our new student around." Celestia asked. A voice came out of it, a young woman's.
"Right away, Principal Celestia." The voice replied. Celestia interlocked her fingers together and set them on her desk.
"Please, have a seat, Crystal." She smiled. I nodded, set my bag down on the floor, sat down, and crossed my right leg over my left leg. I was wearing a skirt, so sitting was sometimes an issue if you had boys in your class who were trying to look up your skirt to try and see your panties. It was annoying. The student Principal Celestia asked for, Galaxy Nebula, walked in the door. He had short black hair, brown eyes, was blue skinned, and was wearing a dark blue hoodie unzipped which showed the black shirt he was wearing. He also had dark blue jeans and blue converse high-tops. He seemed around 16. "Ah, Galaxy. Thank you for coming." Celestia said.
"Of course, Principal Celestia." He replied. I almost gasped. He looked no older than 16, but he had a young voice. He glanced at me. "So is this the student you wanted me to show around campus?" He asked. Celestia nodded. He extended his hand. "Galaxy Nebula." He smiled. I took his hand and shook it.
"Crystal Harmony." I smiled. He thought for a moment.
"Crystal, you know, funny thing. I once had a friend by that name." He said. "You look so much like her." He told me. I had blonde hair, purple skin, blue eyes, and was 15. I was also wearing a purple and black blouse, a black skirt, and black flats. I wasn't one of those 'I wear heels everyday and look sexy' type of girls. I liked to look nice, but not dress like a slut. I made sure everyday that all of my body was covered. I never got why some girls dressed like that. Was it to get a guy's attention or to give him a boner or something? I'll never know, and I don't want to.
"I'll get my bag." I said finally. Galaxy grabbed my bag for me.
"I'll carry it." He smiled. That's when I noticed both of our schedules. "Holy shit, we have the same classes together." He gasped. I gasped as well. "See? Look. Same lunch, same science class, math, everything." He told me.
"Well, would you look at that?" I asked as we were walking in the hallway. "Looks like I might actually make a friend this year." I sighed. Galaxy looked at me.
"You've never had a friend before?" He asked. I shook my head. Then I thought for a moment.
"Well, I did have one. Sweetest boy you could ever meet. Then..." I sat down at my desk for 1st period. "He left without saying 'Goodbye.' I never saw him again." I told him. Galaxy's expression showed me he cared.
"Well, I'm...sorry for your loss." He said. I shook my head.
"It's alright. Nothing can fix it now." I said as I got out my notebook and started writing something. Galaxy noticed the other page.
"What's that?" He asked, gesturing to the page that had my song on it.
"A song I wrote." I told him. "It was....meant to be for me and my friend if we ever became more than friends." I said. Galaxy looked at me with full attention. "It's a song I wanted me and him to sing together at a concert. He was sick that day and he couldn't make it, so I just didn't go." I told Galaxy. "You know, I feel like I can tell you anything, but I barely know you, Galaxy." I admitted. That's when I got a good glimpse of him. His face began to burn in my mind, and once a face that matched his popped up, I gasped, almost falling out of my chair.
"What is it?" He asked me. I was so shocked I could barley speak. Galaxy. My Galaxy, was sitting right next to me.
"G...Galaxy?" I asked him. He gasped as if something in his head clicked. He blinked.
"Cr....Crys?" He gasped. We both shot up and wrapped each other's arms around each other.
"Oh my god, I never thought I'd see you again!" I told him, almost crying. He held me. I looked at him with teary eyes. "Why did you leave?" I asked him.
"I had no choice. The move was last minute. During the last week of summer. Believe me, Crys, if I knew about it sooner I would've told you right away." He told me.
"I thought I lost you." I told him. He hugged me again.
"I thought I lost you, too." He said, holding me in his arms. I had found my Galaxy, after all this time.
