The Skies Of Inhumaneness
The Average Day in a Totally Average Life
Load Full StoryThe sun shone down on the face of a particular teenage colt as he gave a look of annoyance to the sky as if the sun mocked him. He looked around at the some unfamiliar faces and familiar ones as he walked down the path as there was some puddles on the path as he gave a smile at this as to him it showed the day was not that all of a perfect as he thought for a moment as he heard giggling and laughs from some colts and fillies stomping and playing in the puddles as he face hoofed. “Well that was short lived, I'm starting to wonder why i'm in the park and not someplace to try to take my mind off some things…” The colt pondered for a few moments before starting to make his way out of the park.
“What to do, what to do…” the colt said to himself as he walked down the sidewalk in the city of Baltimare looking around at the many stores and restaurants around the city. Soon he passed a clothing store for mares and looked inside through the window and grimaced at it as he kept on walking as he did this every few days thinking someday he could just go in freely. But he knew he would never be able to since things like that just don't magically happen. He just continued his walk not knowing where he's going but not caring either. He looked at a wall next to the store as he saw a genuine pretty mare for some advertisement for shampoo as he scowled at the poster.

He entered his apartment as he moved away from his parents at the age of 16 due to the fighting that went on as he looked on the ground and picked up the mail with his muzzle as he closed the door with his wing before looking at the mail.

Mail: “To Spector Thestral, From Gloomy Cloud” it read with a stamp on it and the address.

“Hmm… I wonder how she’s doing in Mount Olympiad? Maybe she got done climbing… it would be nice to have a friend back..” Spector shrugged as he walked over to the couch as he sat down and picked the remote up and clicked on the T.V. “Let’s see what's on the Telly?” he chuckled to himself as he said the old reference. Then sighing noticing no one was there. “Someday someone might be here to get it maybe… just maybe.” He soon fell asleep on the couch as he curled up into a ball of fur as he drifted off into Luna’s Dreamscape.

A Earth pony mare with a dull grey white coat and a yellow and pink mane opened the door as she walked into Spector’s room as the colt slept on the couch as she looked at him and smiled not being only 2 weeks older then him as she pulled a blanket over him. “Well.. my room mates asleep and i'm the only one awake I guess.. might as well hit the hay.” she shrugged before walking in a room and closing the door as she soon fell asleep in the room.

The next day Spector woke up to the check the mail to see nothing as he saw a cup of orange juice on the counter with a closed note. " Maybe Gloomy came back when I was asleep... or that's poisoned... either way I guess" he shrugged simply drinking the orange juice while opening the note.

Note: "Dear Spector, I went to get some groceries from the market so be right back sometime in the afternoon!" - Gloomy.

He smiled sort of as he finished the note and through it in the trash. "Should probably switch to recycling some times... nah" he soon walked to a room in the house with a computer in it, a easel, some paints and brushes and a monitor. "Hmm... Painting... or the interwebs.." he walked over to the easel. "This reminds me of the sims to be honest but meh." he shrugs as he started painting a Delphinium as he failed in his eyes but in the normal eye it was a master piece to some. "Not good enough... could of used some more color..." he took the paper gently off and put a new one on as he drew a Rose this time and succeeded in his eye. "There we go..." he looked at it for a moment. "Now.. just to let it dry for the moment and figure out what to do with it later."

Later At the Grocery Market in Gloomy's point of view.

She finally ended the argument between her and a stallion who was ogling her as the stallion walked the opposite direction out of the Market. "Bah, What nerve some ponies have..." she calmed down to a mediate level as she looked around the market and at her list as she picked some certain items up thinking as she went on. I really wish I could tell Spector I didn't go to the Mountain but to manehatten for my phyciatryst but what would he think? it pains me to keep lying to him but he might hate me for it... She finally finished everything the apartment needs as she went to check out. "Hello Ma'am and is this all for today?" the mare at the cashier asked. "Yea... " Gloomy replied to the mare running the cashier as she started to scan the items. Gloomy soon ended up ogling the mare her self. especially the mares plot as it was pretty big for a normal mare as she soon realized what she was doing and looked away. "And... its 50 bits Ma'am" the cashier said. "Ehh... Ok..." she said as she wasn't impressed at the price but took out the amount anyway and gave it to the mare. "That you Ma'am and come back soon!" the cashier said as she sounded happy unlike some of the other ponies in the market as Gloomy walked out.
"That was...er ... something.." Gloomy said as the bags levitated in her magical grasp as she started walking home to the apartment as it just turned 12 pm. "Still got some time to kill... and I don't think Spector will miss me..." she thought for a minute looking around. "And I did wanna see that new movie that came out but I don't think Spector will like it..." she contemplated for a moment. "Ahhh buck it he wouldn't care that I'm gone for an extra hour or two.." she said walking to the Theatre as she put the bags in her saddle bags.
