//-------------------------------------------------------// Fallout Equestria: Nightmares's Path -by VitalDatch- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue //-------------------------------------------------------// Prologue Does the moon rise or set? Do daydreams rise and fall? Every dream is said to be light as pure as crystal. Yet darkness may lurk at every shadow and devour the light. Only to turn them into a worthless wasteland. The two Princesses have always been known to keep peace, harmony, and order in Equestria. Yet nopony ever predicted for another conflict to arise. Once more, The Two Sisters have drawn a struggle to power, but what's different is Celestia now being the dark shadow of this battle. With the two sisters locked in combat, this paved a way for the ponies of mere Equestria to break. But some ponies had plans to break all ponies and Equestria itself. It did not take long for any pony to set off and create "The Crater of Nightmares." The sky lit brighter than any fire or shine, leaving many ponies to perish, shelter, or be radiated to change or die. As quickly as the bombs dropped, pony society fell. What a handful of salvaged in the aftermath knew nothing on fixing this "Fall." What seemed to be an eternal nightmare, was a dream come true for many. Including one dark and negative stallion. As he takes his path through Californeigh, he finds happiness l, but doesn't realize all it is, but a simple, dark nightmare. //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 1 The once lit blue sky was nothing close to the heavens. Instead it was consumed by darkness turning the blue marble sky into tarnishtop sight. What laid under those skies was ruins or even scraps of what was Californeigh. To Equestria, it was a crowning jewel. Now it's only just a broken glassfilled with nothing, but pockets of dark fears. What seemed to be a sight and landmark to never behold now was collasped and torn. The Golden Mare Bridge is now a landmark that everypony looks upon as a simple rock. Perched downwards into the toxic waters its lanes now lead. The supports that once held this glorious path now are individually snaped on either side of the main or secondary land. Two of the support perches are cris-crossed, working as the only possible way to traverse Californeigh to main Equestrian land. Admist a pillar supporting the connection of the bridge and Californeigh, stood there a unicorn. Watching over the bridges' sight, his sky blue coat flutters in sync with the wind. Along with his mane of both turquoise and dark blue releasing a galred spike of glowing wind. His ruby eyes look to the mainland only capturing brown mist. His cutie mark, a music note with a spiked tail, and a black top flame signifying his creativity in art and passion for music. His unknown posture only proved he had enjoyed or has adjusted to this wasteland. His tail as long as a mares' own, not in feminine, but style reason. What his physical appearance seemed like, was far oblivious to what skills he possessed. Behind his back he carried a saddle bag, a common one or two sided "backpack", for his inventory storage. The contents were light, but common for most ponies even in the wasteland. Four stimpaks, two radaways, about two-hundred and thirty-six bottlecaps. Due to the "Fall" when pony society fell, ofcourse all systems of law, order or any society life style completely fell, leaving the ponies of the wasteland to choose their own path and bottlecaps were a best substitute to fill the role of currency. Now the only other item inside his bag was two mags each filled with six rounds in each. Those mags were for his only current weapon of offense. Holstered around his neck, a weapon designed by his own hooves. The P-X7 Crystal Emulator, a rifle most fitting to a marksmen as this stallion. Now his identity is very vague, but his name is all that's required to present himself. Vital Datch, was the name he'd keep till his last breath, but not making this wasteland his grave. Turning around to face the mainland of Californeigh, looking down at the concrete path of the bridge, being about two-hundred feet or so down, Vital prepared himself. His horn began to glow immulating a violet shine from the base to the tip of his horn, he closed his eyes, took a step forward with a deep breath. The glow from his horn engulfed his entire body until with a light "poof", he'd disappeared. "Wow, that was a long way down." Vital said, as he looked back up to the very pillar that he had stood upon seconds ago. "Glad teleportation magic, or any magic in fact still functions." He then began to trot forward approaching the city limits. With each step he took, the sight beneath and ahead of him was normal to him. Collapsed concrete, dried blood, corpses, or even common Radroaches crawling around or within his perimeter. For about five minutes he'd trotted along the path until he had reached city limits. What lied ahead were the ruins of a once bright and thriving city, San Franciscolt. Known very much by it's once great Golden mare bridge, now just another city layed to wasteland name. Vital payed not much attention to the ruins of the many buildings he trotted by, yet kep't a close eyes on every corner each building produced. Having trotted about two-hundred feet into the city, his ears twitched at a faint sound, naked to any microphone. Stopping in his tracks looking down at the concrete street beneath his hooves, keeping his balance of silence. "Guess I have some unexpected guest." Giving a slight smile, lifting a hoof in expectation. Silence filled the void of brown mist, but cleared very slowly from light breezes of air, as well shuffling Vitals' mane. A strange scent flew by Vitals' muzzle right to his nose. Sniffing the mysterious scent he recognized it anywhere. "Heavy, stiff liquor, pure A grade vod-", "Ka, vodka from the highest of royalty. A deep, but modest sounding voice said from the shadows unknown. With no hesitation, Vital readied his rifle, scanning one-hundred eighty degrees on both his left and right sides. Once more the voice spoke to Vital, no doubt as a threat. 'Why the offensive side? Come on Vital we're only here to talk business, that's all." A pony stepped out from a pile of rubble, just parallel to Vital. Giving no chance, Vital sighted his rifle at the stallion. Upon inspection of the earth pony, Vital gave an annoyed sigh. "Really Damos? Do we have to go through this again?" The earth pony stepped forward giving a bow and evil giggle oddly enough. "Been awhile Vital hasn't it?" The blue unicorn looked down at the rocks beside his hooves and gave a light chuckle, while holstering his rifle away from the stallion. "Damos seriously, if I have to kick your ass again, I won't mind?" Damos was a bit hesitant. His mossy green coat turned brighter, his golden yellow mane and tail stood still acquiring what Vital had warned. Adjusting his grey, possibly raided jacket, Damos stepped a hoof forward and gave a very devilish smile. "This time, I wanna see my friends kick your flank instead." Damos tapped his right hoof twice, as four ponies stepped out from within the ruins surrounding Vital. There was an earthpony, two pegasi and a unicorn. Strangely enough among them the only female in their group was the unicorn. "Guess this is the night bitches die. Bitches being you and your boyfriends Damos." Popping his neck, Vital readied a stance of defensive posture as the four ponies except Damos, surrounded Vital, but with extra insurance. Eahc of the ponies had a pistol loaded at Vital, giving no opportunity for him to sight his weapon. "Now this is quite unfair of me, four against a defenseless stallion, dumb way to die isn't it Vital?" Damos lifted his hoof as a signal to ready their shots as Vitals' horn lit up in shine of purple as he closed his eyes. "Damos", his word cut off as he vanished. The four ponies, including Damos were in confusion as they frantically searched for Vital. "Where did that blue asshole go!?" The female unicorn questioned Damos as he replied to her, "I don't know, hooves on triggers!" Each pony scouted their perimeter, each beginning to spread out, separating their guard from one another. Eventually two ponies were close enough for a dual takedown, as Vital appeared right behind them, finishing his words. "I don't like being charged." The two ponies that Vital had shot for was the two pegasi that idiotically separated together and only a small purple mist wipped them before it was too late. Vital snatched both pairs of wings from the pegasi pulling them both right to the ground as Vital holstered his weapon at the Pegasus right to his hoof. His magic at trigger pulled back at a crack of lightning, blood splattering blood right onto Vitals' hoof, his rifle and the Pegasus beside him. "YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Damos screamed in rage and pointed his own pistol with his tail, his eyes flooded in red. "Kill that assho-", his words were taken away by another shot from Vitals' rifle, as the blue unicorn stood to turn Damos as he gave a very straight, bored face. "Who's next?" Enraged, Damos began to fire all of his rounds at Vital eager to his nemesis, but it was no use. All of his shots never once hit Vital, leaving him disappointed at his opponents aim. Pulling back his rifle's bolt to another round in the chamber, he stepped forward not at Damos, but at the remaining two ponies being the unicorn and earth pony. "So, who's next on my death list?" The more frightened one was the earth pony as the unicorn mare stood her ground, ready to fight to the death. The blue unicorn spun his rifle with his magic at the earth pony. "Sorry miss, but I'm a gentle colt not a total moron like this one." Another crack of lighting came from the muzzle of an unknown origin that a blue pony is now wielding. The bullet struck the pony's upper neck squirting blood down his neck as he fell creating another pool of blood, adding yet another victim to Vitals' kill count. Damos became very frightened, he began to step backwards. "I'm getting the fuck out of here!" He cried out, as he trotted off in black fear, but Vital wasn't going to let him go without a parting gift. Grabbing his scopes' lens adjusting the distance to his targets' head just inches away from Damos' ear, he fell from yet another shot of lighting this time, the victim did not bleed yet, but was given a new intestine across his entire head right through his right cheek. That's a little parting gift from me to you Damos. I'll see you in hell." Vital once more pulled back his bolt loading another bullet in his rifle's barrel now turning to the mare who now was in black fear as well. She was frozen, not taking a single eye off Vital, yet she was paralyzed, but tramatized. Vital trotted towards her stopping just inches away from her muzzle. Her eyes were shadowed in fears and tears started to rain down from her black clouds. Holstering his weapon and facing the mare, he gave a sigh in relief oddly enough after what her leader attempted to execute. The mare whimpered in tears as she fell to her knees and pleaded for mercy. "PLEASE! VITAL DON'T KILL ME! I'll do anything please let me live I'm begging you!" Vital looked down into her eyes in confusion giving a raised eyebrow. "I'm not going to k-", "I'll do anything, anything you want, information, supplies even sex please let me live!" The unicorn was interrupted by pleads that were odd and unnecessary. Before the mare could scream another plead of nonsense, Vital placed his hoof over her muzzle stopping her lips from releasing another word. "Ma'am, I'm not going to kill you, all I require from you is information." The mare's tears and whimpering halted from those words of mercy. "You're ...not going to kill me?" The mare questioned as she arose from her knees, wiping the tears from her cheeks. "That's correct all I aquire is information and just an examination of your inventory." The mare looking into Vitals' eyes gave a confused, but a negotiable smile. "Yes, thank you, I'll gladly exchange any intel I hold and here." Her magic unstrapped the saddle she held around her back right off in front of Vitals' left hoof. "What sort of intel do you require?" Beginning to empty out the mares' saddle bag of her items, he began to ask simplistic questions. "Your name? Were there any ponies you all raided or passed by?" The mare began to ponder as one by one, her items were counted off. "Hmm...oh, we did raid a white Pegasus just about a couple minutes due South. She wasn't much so Damos let her live." The thought of "she," pondered Vital for a bit. "A mare pegasus?" Vital questioned as he organized all the items back into the mares' saddle bag. "Yeah she wasn't much to raid or to even rape, but she was doing alright for a small camp. If you want, we can go see her and maybe help?" Vital has been in this rabbit hole for Luna knows how long and has never helped anypony. Yet he was persistent on assisting in the least so he agreed. "Very well lets go and assist her the-." His words were taken by a small photo peeking from a pouch on the saddle bag of the mare, with no ignorance he examined the photo. Both of his pupils shrunk in horror from what he gazed upon the photo, even the mare began to worry. "Is...something wrong Vital?" Silence filled the air, Vital was in dark phase when he laid eyes on the photo. Using his magic he placed the photo in his own saddle bag. "Vital? Is everyth-, AHH!" The mare suddenly fell to the floor facing away from Vital, who held his rifle in his magic grasp trotting close to her." "What is your name?" The downed unicorn coughed blood from her mouth as she layed on her stomach, turning her head in tears to answer him. "Cassandra, it's Cassandra!" She was clearly disabled at the moment, but with the situation at hand her only option was crawling. Not even five inches of crawling, her pain from one blow from what seemed the butt end of a rifle, she was doomed. "Please.......don't....hurt me." Ignoring her cries of mercy, Vital stepped on her left hind leg, disabling her ability to continue crawling she could only look at Vital from the turn of her head as he in dark red eyes. Using the barrel of his rifle, Vital levitated it towards Cassandras' flank to the base of her tail where the strand of her mane originated from her body, leaving her with only one conclusion. "If you're going to rape me.....please...be gentle." Cassandra's agreement to pleasure was broad, but even being a Virgin Vital wanted to save his, especially not to this whore. So to comply with her "request," he did intend to rape her, but with something more lethal. Cassandra, giving a red flushed face, lifter her hips to Vital not looking back to receive her deserved punishment of pleasure, but to her surprise she had received something worst. "AAHHH~. What ...I-is...that?" The grasp of Vitals' magic had his rifles' barrel deep inside her womb as the deflowering of Cassandras vagina began to spill blood down the metal barrel of her first gun. "Virgin huh? I figured Damos should've raped you." Cassandra turned her muzzle very slowly as her pupils only sheded tears, but released her tongue, drooling off her chin as she enjoyed her first and only penetration. "Fuck...m-me." Her face and tears of pain suddenly turned to a smile of pleasure, so Vital complied with one more request as his magic began to pull down the trigger. "Tell Damos he should've raped and that I beat him to you." "Yes~ Vita-," Her final words were stolen not by a crack of lighting, but thunder as Vital retracted the barrel of his gun from her new resized womb. The aftermath of Cassandra's death and some what rape was followed only by Vital falling into tears. It was not for the death of the mare he had just pleasured and killed. No, the photo he had pulled from the deceased mare had all the blame for Vitals' sorrow. In a very slow yet sorrow filled look, he began to grind his teeth in great anger. Seeing how the ponies that he had just murdered were of no use of him, one piece of their belongings was very needed. Yet all he felt was pain in his heart, letting go of his magic's grasp and weapon, falling to his knees whimpering in a waterfall of tears as he cried without a stop. "Why...?"
