Pinkie Pie said "A party? For what?" Apple jack asked "A party to celebrate all our parties!" Pinkie Pie replied "Urr Pinkie, why would we need to do that?" Rainbow Dash questioned "Hellooo! We've worked so hard, we all have to have a break from time to time! (Plus have you seen all the books Twilight's been reading over the weekend, she's like the only pony on this show who can read twenty books in two days. Which explains why she's a bit crazy!)" Pinkie Pie whispered Twilight heard this and being a bit annoyed she said "Well one I didn't read twenty, I read eighteen and two (oh it's so hard to show you the number two when you don't have those fingers like in that other world!) there's no need to do a party just because of that," Twilight explained whilst being a bit annoyed "Let's just do it Twilight, we'll get this done with, " Rainbow Dash said patting Twilight on the shoulder,Twilight sighed and agreed to Rainbow Dash's idea. "Yippee! I can't wait to start our 'we have been working very hard' party! See you tomorrow! Pinkie Pie yelled "Wait Pinkie we only just decided to have a party, how is it possible that you managed to make a party so quickly?" Twilight asked "I haven't made the party just yet I just wanted to talk to you guys about the party," Pinkie Pie replied and she went off to prank Miss Cherilee. Twilight, Rainbow Dash, Apple Jack and Fluttershy arrived at the Castle but noticed that Rarity wasn't there. "Hey, where's Rarity?" Apple Jack asked "I'll go find her," Rainbow Dash said and she flew off in search of Rarity. She soon found Rarity in a yoga studio, "Funny, I thought that the directors of this show didn't make the ponies do yoga," Rainbow Dash said. Rarity was too busy doing yoga to even remember the meeting. The yoga instructor folded his hooves behind his head then broke wind, Rarity noticed this, "I really should get myself a new yoga instructor," she said. "Rarity! What are you doing! Did you forget about Pinkie Pie's meeting?" Rainbow Dash yelled, just then Rarity remembered about Pinkie Pie's party, "Oh my I completely forgot about that!" she said. Rarity quickly got herself out of her bend and trotted, with Rainbow Dash, back to the Castle. "I really am sorry for being late!" Rarity apologised, her friends ,surprisingly, didn't even notice Rarity apologising to them which confused both the pegasi and the unicorn. "Hey! What's gotten into you guys, you're acting so strange!?" she said, luckily Apple Jack noticed Rainbow Dash's voice. "Sorry for not noticing you gals, it's just that Pinkie hasn't shown up yet and it ain't like her to come late to a meeting she's planned!" Apple Jack explained with utter confusion. Suddenly Twilight saw a note on the wall. She took it off of the wall and was shocked at what was written on the note. "Guys it's a ransom note about Pinkie Pie's disappearance!" Twilight explained, the other ponies just blinked "Pinkie Pie is not here and there is a ransom note inside the place that she should be in," she explained "Yes, go on," Rarity said "The ransom note, Pinkie Pie's strange disappearance. Do I have to spell it out for you!" Twilight yelled. The other ponies agreed to what Twilight said which annoyed her even more. "Ponynapped! Pinkie Pie has been ponynapped!" Twilight said as the other ponies gasped "Wow Twilight, you sure we're really smart to have figured that problem out!" Rainbow Dash said, patting Twilight on the shoulder. So they all groaned as they galloped frightfully to the Everfree Forest. We are pretty awesome plus there is one pegasi here who's the most bravest," Rainbow Dash boasted "Thanks Rainbow Dash, I always knew that I was getting braver over time!" Flutter shy said, this annoyed Rainbow Dash slightly for she was actually admiring herself. "Alright every pony, let's start searching for clues!" Twilight said. After a while they were all searching the place for any clues on Pinkie Pies disappearance. Unfortunately, there was nothing that they could find that could lead them to Pinkie Pie. "Come on! we've searched high and low for clues and haven't found anything!" Rainbow Dash groaned as she sat on a rock, she noticed that there was something on the rock that she was sitting on because she felt a strange when she lied down on it. "Bingo!" she yelled as she saw an engraving laying silently on the rock, the other ponies ran over to Rainbow Dash: The pony that you seek will be found if you peak on a place with a filly and the highest is chilly. "Whoever took Pinkie Pie should really just stop talking like Zecora," Rainbow Dash said "So 'On a place with a filly'...I got nothing! What about you gals?" Applejack asked "Well... What about Filly Delphia? Since the word 'filly' is in the name," Rarity suggested "Good brain Rarity! Now we just have to get a train from Ponyville to Filly Delphia, I think the next train to Filly Delphia arrives in... Oh Celestia! Forty-three minutes! We have to hurry!" Twilight explained. The five ponies all galloped off together to the Ponyville train station to get to Filly Delphia. "All right, I got the food, now a I just need the recipes for the cake! Now let's see... Oh there's the stall right there! So what were the ingredients I needed? Wow this list sure is long and confusing! So I need: carrots, check! Carrots, check! Carrots, check! Carrots, check! Applejack said that she had to leave immediate-" Apple Bloom was block by Pinkie Pie who yelled excitedly "No, no,no, not that! I have to make a party before they come back to celebrate their accomplishes from their adventure! Oh I don't have enough time, I gotta quickly plan a party now! No time to chat gotta zoom!" she galloped away leaving the crusaders standing there, confused. "Whew! I sure am glad we came here just in the nick o' time!" Applejack said, exhausted from all the running that she had done that day. The five ponies all sat together worried at what sort of horrors the pony napper is forcing Pinkie Pie to do. Whilst Pinkie Pie was humming to herself as she was baking a cake. "I just hope we can find another clue quickly, the Everfree Forest was hard enough, but a whole town to search through! That is going to take days to search!" Rainbow Dash moaned "I know but we have to Pinkie's our friend, even if she is annoying, we still have to find her," Twilight explained as the other ponies yawned "The day sure seemed to have gone by quickly! I'm gonna go hit the hay, see ya!" Applejack said as she went off to rest for the night. The other ponies decided to also go to sleep as they knew that they were going to search a whole town. And so they all drifted off to their dreams silently. The dragons caveThe five ponies soon awoke to find that the trains next stop was finally Filly Delphia. They all yawned as they awoke from their sleep, "Well, guess we'll have to get out and go on the search again," Applejack said. When the train stopped at Filly Delphia the five ponies left the train and went off to search for any sort of clues. They all asked different ponies and searched through buildings yet they couldn't find anything. "Great, once again we don't find a single clue that could lead us to Pinkie's disappearance," Rainbow Dash groaned "Well we can't give up yet," Twilight said "We have to try our best to find Pinkie," Applejack explained "E-excuse me, but did you say 'Pinkie'" Somepony else suddenly said "Urm...Who the hay are you?" Applejack asked, turning around to see a mare standing before her. "Well you see urm... I have a friend whose name is Pinkie Pie and since you said her name I thought that, well, you'd know her" she explained. Applejack stared at the strange mare. She had a blue and pink mane and tail, the mane was droopy a little and she wore an explorers jacket. "Oh, sorry I didn't introduce myself, I'm Star Blossom and couldn't stop to overhear that you know Pinkie Pie," Star Blossom said "You know her?" Flutter shy asked "Well, yes. You see-" Star Blossom said until she was blocked "I don't see anything, well except the usual kinda' stuff," Rainbow Dash joked "You see when I was a school filly Pinkie Pie and I used to hang out, we were good friends," she explained "But one day she said that she had to go somewhere else..." Star Blossom paused for a while then continued "And I never saw her ever since," She explained. There was a long silence after that, the five ponies stood there shocked at what they had heard. "Wait, wait, wait are you telling us that you were once Pinkies friend!? How come Pinkie never told us?" Rainbow Dash suddenly asked "I think Pinkie has kept a lot of secrets from us," Twilight explained "Pinkie has never actually kept a secret from me, we always told each other our secrets. She even told me that one day she will climb up the foal mountains and reach the highest, and coldest, peak of the foal mountains. I wonder if she'll ever actually climb up those mountains," she explained "Well Pinkie Pie may have not done it before, but her friends could!" Twilight said suddenly "What do you mean Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously "Don't you get it! The foal mountains, the highest and coldest peak! Guys we've been searching the wrong way, we were supposed to go to the foal mountains and try to get to the highest peak, like it said on the ransom note 'will be found if you peak'!" Twilight explained excitedly "Are you saying that we've searched through this town for nothing!?" Rarity yelled "Wait, what ransom not-" Star Blossom was blocked "Yes, but how are we going to get to the top?" Rarity asked "We have to try, after all, this is for Pinkie Pie and we're also carrying Pinkie Pie's dream of climbing up the foal mountains," Twilight explained. The five friends loaded up with gear for their hiking trip up the foal mountains. They began climbing, but after a few minutes of climbing they were already tired, except for Rainbow Dash. "Of course I'm not tired, I'm awesome!" she boasted. The four friends all climbed up nearly half way and yet they looked like they were going to faint, they decided to take a break and rest for a while. They all thought the same thing: 'we are never going to get to the top'. "What's the point!" Fluttershy said as she easily gave up "We've got to keep going," Twilight explained. They all carried on going. Climbing higher. Higher. Higher. Until finally they arrived at the top of the mountain, where they all stood there staring at the cave that was waiting for their arrival. But just then they noticed that there was a pathway to the top of the mountain "Seriously," Rainbow Dash groaned "We all shall soon save Pinkie Pie from the dreadful fate that awaits her because Pinkie Pie is the pony that brightens up our word and helps us when we are in trouble she is the element of..." Twilight continued talking "Who is she saying that to?" Rarity asked "Beats me," Applejack replied "Hey, Twilight! Quit you're jabbering and let's go in there and save Pinkie Pie!" Rainbow Dash yelled. The five friends all entered the cave but were not satisfied by the fact that Pinkie Pie wasn't there. Suddenly they smelt something burning. Something hot. SMOKE!! "Why is smoke coming out of a cave?" Rarity asked "Isn't it obvious! There's a dragon here who's just awaken because of our presence and is now ready to swallow us whole!" Fluttershy squealed in fright, she was about to run away until Twilight used her horn to catch Fluttershy. "We're a team Fluttershy and we never leave a team member behind," Twilight explained "Sorry, I guess I got a little scared," Fluttershy explained "Yeah a little scared. C'mon girls let's go save Pinkie Pie!" Rainbow Dash said and then she flew forward like lightning. The other four ponies were about to go after her until three seconds later Rainbow Dash crash landed in front of Twilight. "Did you not hear me when I said that we work as a team?" Twilight asked rhetorically "Sorry, Twilight, I got a little starstruck," Rainbow explained as she got up and dusted dirt off herself. The five ponies carried on walking, knowing what danger was laying at the end of the cave. Soon they were all face to face with the dragon, who was still grumpy about the incident with Rainbow Dash. "Tell me what you wish to find, then I will be the one to guide,-" the dragon began to get angry "We sure are encountering a lot of riddles today, so what does he mean?" Applejack asked "He's asking us what we're doing here, Applejack, so Mr. Dragon what we want is-" but Twilight was blocked by a frightful roar from the dragon. "I shall finish then you shall go through, do not block or this will be the last of you!" the dragon screeched "If you wish for my answer, then you must complete a task, then the answer you seek will unmask, you will find one that's rare, after that you must stare, at the heart of it all, it'll be big nor small." the dragon explained "I'm guessing that this is another riddle," Rarity groaned, she hated solving riddles because she thought they were too hard to solve. So the five friends left the cave in silence and took the pathway down the mountain that they didn't notice. Pinkie Pie was too busy placing decorations all over the place. She began to get tired and decided to help herself to some cupcakes, Pinkie Pie put some sugar on the cupcake. "Hey Pinkie, can I have that carrot cake I asked for yesterday?" Apple Bloom asked "Sure thing, Apple Bloom, just let me finish putting this sugar on and I'll be right on it," Pinkie Pie replied. She put the sugar away and went to fetch the cake whilst Apple Bloom stared confusingly at the mountain of sugar that Pinkie Pie had topped. "I'm back, here Apple Bloom your carrot cake," Pinkie Pie explained as she gave the cake to Apple Bloom. "That sure is a lot of sugar you topped on there, Pinkie," Apple Bloom said "Well after all that planning for the party I gotta have something to eat!" Pinkie Pie explained as she stared hungrily at the cupcake. Then like a flash of lightning Pinkie Pie ate the cupcake and mountain of sugar in one gulp, but in a few seconds her teeth dissolved like ashes. "Hmmm, needs more sugar," she said and she went off to get more sugar. A random end"Okay, so what did the dragon mean?" Applejack asked "I don't know and I don't get how staring will help at all!" Rarity said "Twilight, have you got any idea about what he was saying?" Flutter shy asked "Well, we have to find something really rare?" Twilight explained confusingly "Yes, but what is the thing that is rare?" Rarity asked "Urm, the e-elements of harmony," Flutter shy suggested "What!?" the other four ponies chorused "Well...Oh, what was I thinking! The elements of harmony are probably not even the answer! Sorry, what I just said doesn't even matter," Fluttershy said disapprovingly "Maybe the elements of harmony could be the answer, since there aren't any doubles of the elements," Twilight explained "So what do we do once we have the elements?" Rainbow Dash asked "Were you wearing earplugs when the dragon was speaking? He said that we must stare at the heart of it!" Twilight explained "Are you saying that the elements have hearts, so they're alive!" Rainbow Dash tried to hide her fright "Rainbow Dash!" Twilight yelled "And that all this time we've worn living organisms on our neck when we wear the elements of harmony, not that I'm scared," Rainbow Dash explained with fright "Rainbow Dash!!" Twilight shouted "I may not be Rarity but I still think that wearing living things on our neck is disgusting!" Rainbow Dash said "RAIN-BOW DAASH!!" Twilight screeched, her face going red "What?" Rainbow Dash asked "First of all the elements are not alive! And second, I think what the dragon meant was that we have to concentrate when we stare at them, gosh!" Twilight explained calming down "Okay then, let's go get the elements," Applejack said. Soon the five friends were in the train to Ponyville. "What do you think is going to happen when we stare at the elements?" Applejack asked "I'm not sure, but we'll soon find out because we're here," Twilight replied with delight to be back home. They went back to the castle and just when the five friends entered the castle and closed the doors, Pinkie Pie happened to trot in front of the castle on her way to sugarcube corner. "All right so here are the elements," Twilight said whilst placing the elements on the table. "Now what?" Applejack asked "We have to concentrate," Twilight replied, then they all just stared at the elements confusingly. "We have to concentrate and think about the question 'Where is Pinkie Pie?' I-I think," Twilight explained. They all stared straight into the eyes of the elements but nothing happened. "All right, what are you girls thinking about?" Twilight asked whilst being annoyed. "Well I'm thinking about Filly Delphia, that could be where Pinkie Pie is," Flutter Shy replied "Why would you think about that?" Twilight questioned "You told us to, darling," Rarity replied "What, no I told you to think about the question of where Pinkie should be," Twilight said there were some oo's and aa's before everypony were soon concentrating on the eyes of the elements, thinking about the question of where Pinkie Pie is. Then the elements began to glow and spiralled up, they made the shape of a circle and inside the circle the five friends were shocked to find Pinkie Pie putting the banner up then saying that she just needs the finishing touches. But what shocked them most of all was the fact that Pinkie Pie was in front of sugarcube corner! "There must be some sort of mistake, Pinkie Pie can't be here at Ponyville and, is she planning a party?" Twilight said "Well there's only one way to find out!" Rainbow Dash said flying to the castle doors. A few minutes later the five friends were in front of Sugarcube Corner, confused to find out that neither Pinkie Pie or any pony else was here. "Maybe the elements were wrong," Twilight said, but just when they turned around and we're about to go back to the castle "SURPRISE!" a bunch of ponies yelled. "Welcome back from your journey girls! So what'd you have to do, find an object, defeat a monster, eat some cupcakes! I have so many questions for you!" Pinkie Pie yelled with excitement "Yeah, so do we," Twilight said "Like, how did you get here?" Rainbow Dash asked, now Pinkie Pie was really confused "I was here the whole time," she replied "You mean to say that we went through all that to find out that you were here this whole time!" Twilight yelled with frustration "You mean that you found a random note then went to the Everfree Forest to find an engraving on a stone that told you to go to Filly Delphia but when you went to Filly Delphia you met my old friend Star Blossom and she told you about my dream to climb the foal mountains which you did, when you met the dragon he told you the third riddle of the day and when you solved it you had to go all the way back to the castle and use the elements of harmony as google maps to try and find me and you were really shocked to find out that I was here in Ponyville this whole time, so you ran over to Sugarcube Corner where you found out that I was planning a surprise party for you girls," Pinkie Pie took a deep breath "Right!" she yelled "How'd you know Pinkie?" Applejack asked "Just a hunch," Pinkie Pie replied "did you ask the dragon if his species ever ate cake!?" she asked whilst stuffing a cupcake into her mouth "Urm, no. Speaking of dragons, where's Spike I haven't seen him through out our whole goose chase? I think we accidentally left him here because we were all to worried about you" Twilight said. Meanwhile Spike was tied up in pain, struggling to get out of the rope that nearly suffocated him. "Well, it looks like your friends didn't make it in time to exchange you for one hundred bids. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go with my second plan, I'll be the first dragon slayer in Equestria!" the stallion said, a mischievous smile on his face.

Rainbow Dash groaned as she sat on a rock, she noticed that there was something on the rock that she was sitting on because she felt a strange when she lied down on it. "Bingo!" she yelled as she saw an engraving laying silently on the rock, the other ponies ran over to Rainbow Dash: The pony that you seek will be found if you peak on a place with a filly and the highest is chilly. "Whoever took Pinkie Pie should really just stop talking like Zecora," Rainbow Dash said "So 'On a place with a filly'...I got nothing! What about you gals?" Applejack asked "Well... What about Filly Delphia? Since the word 'filly' is in the name," Rarity suggested "Good brain Rarity! Now we just have to get a train from Ponyville to Filly Delphia, I think the next train to Filly Delphia arrives in... Oh Celestia! Forty-three minutes! We have to hurry!" Twilight explained. The five ponies all galloped off together to the Ponyville train station to get to Filly Delphia. "All right, I got the food, now a I just need the recipes for the cake! Now let's see... Oh there's the stall right there! So what were the ingredients I needed? Wow this list sure is long and confusing! So I need: carrots, check! Carrots, check! Carrots, check! Carrots, check! And finally baby carrots, check! This cake is gonna be the bomb! Oh hey crusaders, where are your sisters I haven't seen them all day?" Pinkie Pie asked "Pinkie Pie? I thought you were with the others on their adventure!" Apple Bloom said "Adventure? What adventure?" Pinkie Pie asked curiously "Applejack told me that it was an emergency and that they had to leave immediately," Apple Bloom explained "Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! Do. You. Know. What. This. Means!" Pinkie Pie yelled "Please don't be angry with Pinkie! Applejack said that she had to leave immediate-" Apple Bloom was block by Pinkie Pie who yelled excitedly "No, no,no, not that! I have to make a party before they come back to celebrate their accomplishes from their adventure! Oh I don't have enough time, I gotta quickly plan a party now! No time to chat gotta zoom!" she galloped away leaving the crusaders standing there, confused. "Whew! I sure am glad we came here just in the nick o' time!" Applejack said, exhausted from all the running that she had done that day. The five ponies all sat together worried at what sort of horrors the pony napper is forcing Pinkie Pie to do. Whilst Pinkie Pie was humming to herself as she was baking a cake. "I just hope we can find another clue quickly, the Everfree Forest was hard enough, but a whole town to search through! That is going to take days to search!" Rainbow Dash moaned "I know but we have to Pinkie's our friend, even if she is annoying, we still have to find her," Twilight explained as the other ponies yawned "The day sure seemed to have gone by quickly! I'm gonna go hit the hay, see ya!" Applejack said as she went off to rest for the night. The other ponies decided to also go to sleep as they knew that they were going to search a whole town. And so they all drifted off to their dreams silently.
The dragons caveThe five ponies soon awoke to find that the trains next stop was finally Filly Delphia. They all yawned as they awoke from their sleep, "Well, guess we'll have to get out and go on the search again," Applejack said. When the train stopped at Filly Delphia the five ponies left the train and went off to search for any sort of clues. They all asked different ponies and searched through buildings yet they couldn't find anything. "Great, once again we don't find a single clue that could lead us to Pinkie's disappearance," Rainbow Dash groaned "Well we can't give up yet," Twilight said "We have to try our best to find Pinkie," Applejack explained "E-excuse me, but did you say 'Pinkie'" Somepony else suddenly said "Urm...Who the hay are you?" Applejack asked, turning around to see a mare standing before her. "Well you see urm... I have a friend whose name is Pinkie Pie and since you said her name I thought that, well, you'd know her" she explained. Applejack stared at the strange mare. She had a blue and pink mane and tail, the mane was droopy a little and she wore an explorers jacket. "Oh, sorry I didn't introduce myself, I'm Star Blossom and couldn't stop to overhear that you know Pinkie Pie," Star Blossom said "You know her?" Flutter shy asked "Well, yes. You see-" Star Blossom said until she was blocked "I don't see anything, well except the usual kinda' stuff," Rainbow Dash joked "You see when I was a school filly Pinkie Pie and I used to hang out, we were good friends," she explained "But one day she said that she had to go somewhere else..." Star Blossom paused for a while then continued "And I never saw her ever since," She explained. There was a long silence after that, the five ponies stood there shocked at what they had heard. "Wait, wait, wait are you telling us that you were once Pinkies friend!? How come Pinkie never told us?" Rainbow Dash suddenly asked "I think Pinkie has kept a lot of secrets from us," Twilight explained "Pinkie has never actually kept a secret from me, we always told each other our secrets. She even told me that one day she will climb up the foal mountains and reach the highest, and coldest, peak of the foal mountains. I wonder if she'll ever actually climb up those mountains," she explained "Well Pinkie Pie may have not done it before, but her friends could!" Twilight said suddenly "What do you mean Twilight?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously "Don't you get it! The foal mountains, the highest and coldest peak! Guys we've been searching the wrong way, we were supposed to go to the foal mountains and try to get to the highest peak, like it said on the ransom note 'will be found if you peak'!" Twilight explained excitedly "Are you saying that we've searched through this town for nothing!?" Rarity yelled "Wait, what ransom not-" Star Blossom was blocked "Yes, but how are we going to get to the top?" Rarity asked "We have to try, after all, this is for Pinkie Pie and we're also carrying Pinkie Pie's dream of climbing up the foal mountains," Twilight explained. The five friends loaded up with gear for their hiking trip up the foal mountains. They began climbing, but after a few minutes of climbing they were already tired, except for Rainbow Dash. "Of course I'm not tired, I'm awesome!" she boasted. The four friends all climbed up nearly half way and yet they looked like they were going to faint, they decided to take a break and rest for a while. They all thought the same thing: 'we are never going to get to the top'. "What's the point!" Fluttershy said as she easily gave up "We've got to keep going," Twilight explained. They all carried on going. Climbing higher. Higher. Higher. Until finally they arrived at the top of the mountain, where they all stood there staring at the cave that was waiting for their arrival. But just then they noticed that there was a pathway to the top of the mountain "Seriously," Rainbow Dash groaned "We all shall soon save Pinkie Pie from the dreadful fate that awaits her because Pinkie Pie is the pony that brightens up our word and helps us when we are in trouble she is the element of..." Twilight continued talking "Who is she saying that to?" Rarity asked "Beats me," Applejack replied "Hey, Twilight! Quit you're jabbering and let's go in there and save Pinkie Pie!" Rainbow Dash yelled. The five friends all entered the cave but were not satisfied by the fact that Pinkie Pie wasn't there. Suddenly they smelt something burning. Something hot. SMOKE!! "Why is smoke coming out of a cave?" Rarity asked "Isn't it obvious! There's a dragon here who's just awaken because of our presence and is now ready to swallow us whole!" Fluttershy squealed in fright, she was about to run away until Twilight used her horn to catch Fluttershy. "We're a team Fluttershy and we never leave a team member behind," Twilight explained "Sorry, I guess I got a little scared," Fluttershy explained "Yeah a little scared. C'mon girls let's go save Pinkie Pie!" Rainbow Dash said and then she flew forward like lightning. The other four ponies were about to go after her until three seconds later Rainbow Dash crash landed in front of Twilight. "Did you not hear me when I said that we work as a team?" Twilight asked rhetorically "Sorry, Twilight, I got a little starstruck," Rainbow explained as she got up and dusted dirt off herself. The five ponies carried on walking, knowing what danger was laying at the end of the cave. Soon they were all face to face with the dragon, who was still grumpy about the incident with Rainbow Dash. "Tell me what you wish to find, then I will be the one to guide,-" the dragon began to get angry "We sure are encountering a lot of riddles today, so what does he mean?" Applejack asked "He's asking us what we're doing here, Applejack, so Mr. Dragon what we want is-" but Twilight was blocked by a frightful roar from the dragon. "I shall finish then you shall go through, do not block or this will be the last of you!" the dragon screeched "If you wish for my answer, then you must complete a task, then the answer you seek will unmask, you will find one that's rare, after that you must stare, at the heart of it all, it'll be big nor small." the dragon explained "I'm guessing that this is another riddle," Rarity groaned, she hated solving riddles because she thought they were too hard to solve. So the five friends left the cave in silence and took the pathway down the mountain that they didn't notice. Pinkie Pie was too busy placing decorations all over the place. She began to get tired and decided to help herself to some cupcakes, Pinkie Pie put some sugar on the cupcake. "Hey Pinkie, can I have that carrot cake I asked for yesterday?" Apple Bloom asked "Sure thing, Apple Bloom, just let me finish putting this sugar on and I'll be right on it," Pinkie Pie replied. She put the sugar away and went to fetch the cake whilst Apple Bloom stared confusingly at the mountain of sugar that Pinkie Pie had topped. "I'm back, here Apple Bloom your carrot cake," Pinkie Pie explained as she gave the cake to Apple Bloom. "That sure is a lot of sugar you topped on there, Pinkie," Apple Bloom said "Well after all that planning for the party I gotta have something to eat!" Pinkie Pie explained as she stared hungrily at the cupcake. Then like a flash of lightning Pinkie Pie ate the cupcake and mountain of sugar in one gulp, but in a few seconds her teeth dissolved like ashes. "Hmmm, needs more sugar," she said and she went off to get more sugar.
A random end"Okay, so what did the dragon mean?" Applejack asked "I don't know and I don't get how staring will help at all!" Rarity said "Twilight, have you got any idea about what he was saying?" Flutter shy asked "Well, we have to find something really rare?" Twilight explained confusingly "Yes, but what is the thing that is rare?" Rarity asked "Urm, the e-elements of harmony," Flutter shy suggested "What!?" the other four ponies chorused "Well...Oh, what was I thinking! The elements of harmony are probably not even the answer! Sorry, what I just said doesn't even matter," Fluttershy said disapprovingly "Maybe the elements of harmony could be the answer, since there aren't any doubles of the elements," Twilight explained "So what do we do once we have the elements?" Rainbow Dash asked "Were you wearing earplugs when the dragon was speaking? He said that we must stare at the heart of it!" Twilight explained "Are you saying that the elements have hearts, so they're alive!" Rainbow Dash tried to hide her fright "Rainbow Dash!" Twilight yelled "And that all this time we've worn living organisms on our neck when we wear the elements of harmony, not that I'm scared," Rainbow Dash explained with fright "Rainbow Dash!!" Twilight shouted "I may not be Rarity but I still think that wearing living things on our neck is disgusting!" Rainbow Dash said "RAIN-BOW DAASH!!" Twilight screeched, her face going red "What?" Rainbow Dash asked "First of all the elements are not alive! And second, I think what the dragon meant was that we have to concentrate when we stare at them, gosh!" Twilight explained calming down "Okay then, let's go get the elements," Applejack said. Soon the five friends were in the train to Ponyville. "What do you think is going to happen when we stare at the elements?" Applejack asked "I'm not sure, but we'll soon find out because we're here," Twilight replied with delight to be back home. They went back to the castle and just when the five friends entered the castle and closed the doors, Pinkie Pie happened to trot in front of the castle on her way to sugarcube corner. "All right so here are the elements," Twilight said whilst placing the elements on the table. "Now what?" Applejack asked "We have to concentrate," Twilight replied, then they all just stared at the elements confusingly. "We have to concentrate and think about the question 'Where is Pinkie Pie?' I-I think," Twilight explained. They all stared straight into the eyes of the elements but nothing happened. "All right, what are you girls thinking about?" Twilight asked whilst being annoyed. "Well I'm thinking about Filly Delphia, that could be where Pinkie Pie is," Flutter Shy replied "Why would you think about that?" Twilight questioned "You told us to, darling," Rarity replied "What, no I told you to think about the question of where Pinkie should be," Twilight said there were some oo's and aa's before everypony were soon concentrating on the eyes of the elements, thinking about the question of where Pinkie Pie is. Then the elements began to glow and spiralled up, they made the shape of a circle and inside the circle the five friends were shocked to find Pinkie Pie putting the banner up then saying that she just needs the finishing touches. But what shocked them most of all was the fact that Pinkie Pie was in front of sugarcube corner! "There must be some sort of mistake, Pinkie Pie can't be here at Ponyville and, is she planning a party?" Twilight said "Well there's only one way to find out!" Rainbow Dash said flying to the castle doors. A few minutes later the five friends were in front of Sugarcube Corner, confused to find out that neither Pinkie Pie or any pony else was here. "Maybe the elements were wrong," Twilight said, but just when they turned around and we're about to go back to the castle "SURPRISE!" a bunch of ponies yelled. "Welcome back from your journey girls! So what'd you have to do, find an object, defeat a monster, eat some cupcakes! I have so many questions for you!" Pinkie Pie yelled with excitement "Yeah, so do we," Twilight said "Like, how did you get here?" Rainbow Dash asked, now Pinkie Pie was really confused "I was here the whole time," she replied "You mean to say that we went through all that to find out that you were here this whole time!" Twilight yelled with frustration "You mean that you found a random note then went to the Everfree Forest to find an engraving on a stone that told you to go to Filly Delphia but when you went to Filly Delphia you met my old friend Star Blossom and she told you about my dream to climb the foal mountains which you did, when you met the dragon he told you the third riddle of the day and when you solved it you had to go all the way back to the castle and use the elements of harmony as google maps to try and find me and you were really shocked to find out that I was here in Ponyville this whole time, so you ran over to Sugarcube Corner where you found out that I was planning a surprise party for you girls," Pinkie Pie took a deep breath "Right!" she yelled "How'd you know Pinkie?" Applejack asked "Just a hunch," Pinkie Pie replied "did you ask the dragon if his species ever ate cake!?" she asked whilst stuffing a cupcake into her mouth "Urm, no. Speaking of dragons, where's Spike I haven't seen him through out our whole goose chase? I think we accidentally left him here because we were all to worried about you" Twilight said. Meanwhile Spike was tied up in pain, struggling to get out of the rope that nearly suffocated him. "Well, it looks like your friends didn't make it in time to exchange you for one hundred bids. Oh well, I guess I'll have to go with my second plan, I'll be the first dragon slayer in Equestria!" the stallion said, a mischievous smile on his face.
