Author's Note

A fairly fast start but I got through it. AHH! I can you yelling at me already! " Everybody's done this already!" Well if you don't want to read then LEAVE, those of you that like the start please your thoughts... CRITICISM IS ENCOURAGED! As a starting writer I need all of the tips that I can get. Chapter 1

It was a dark and stormy night. I know, I know really original right? Minus the stormy...... Blank Canvas, a traveling painter Pegasus from the royal city itself was making his way to Ponyville, the home of the elements of Harmony, hoping to paint their portraits.

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug, how much longer is it? I had been asking myself this for a long time now. Its got to be here somewhere. As I said this to myself, I trotted over a small hill and simultaneously seeing the most beautiful sight I had seen in his week long travel, running out of food three days ago. Catching myself mid drool, I started down the hill towards the village. Inspirational right? well it would have been if I managed to get down the hill without catching my hoof on my cart wheel, sending me spiraling down said hill spilling the contents of my cart EVERYWHERE. Managing to gather all of my supplies, I continued towards my goal.

As I was almost to town I noticed I was in some sort of apple orchard, recalling that the element of honesty was a farm pony, I assumed it was hers and started my search.

Following a path of sorts, I came upon what looked like a Pegasus. But something was wrong, I assumed she, had bat-like wings? Excuse me miss?

FLUTTERSHY!! I heard yelled from a short distance away. Oh you're Fluttershy? It is a pleasure. I gave a polite bow, but something was still off.

Get away from her!

I heard yelled from over a small hill about 30 feet away from me, when I turned to see who exactly said it. It was the elements of Harmony!! Oh its you! I've been looking for you guys! Would you mind if I got you to- AH! I let out a large breath as I was tackled by Fluttershy, in utter shock I barely noticed her glowing eyes before she put her head down to my neck and proceeded to rip out a chunk of it! Then there was darkness.
