Choose Your Own Adventure: The Legendary Quest

"So, who's the ruler here?" You ask.

"Oh, that would be Queen Luna," Pinkie answered.

"Wait, isn't Celestia suppose to rule?" You ask.

"Nope! Queen Luna's the older sister, so she pretty much rules all of Altestria. Princess Celestia just raises the sun," Pinkie answers. Then, you remember that your in the altered version of Equestria.

"Can you take me to her?" You ask.

"Of course! Queen Luna would be so happy to see you! Right after I gather up my friends, they could help us," Pinkie responds. She bounces over to a group of mares that are also a part of the crowd.

You see four familiar faces.

"Hey girls! This is Twilight, Twilight this is Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Rarity, Applejack!"

"She knows all of you from another dimension!" Pinkie informed.

"You're from another dimension?" Rainbow Dash asked. "Cool!"

"We'll help you, darling," Rarity said. "To save Altestria from danger."

"Alright! First we need to go to the Tolretnac," Pinkie said.

You blink. "Excuse me?"

"It's the place where the Queen Luna lives," Pinkie said.

"Oh, right, this was a twisted version of Equestria. In my world, it was called Canterlot," you say, walking in the path with Pinkie and the others. "I guess we should go buy some train tickets first."

"What are trains?" Pinkie asked.

"You don't have trains here either?" You ask.

"Well, I don't know what a train is, but we have wagons," Pinkie said. This world reminds you more of the olden days of Equestria. These ponies even dress up like the ponies long, long back. You guess there's not any modern technology in this world.

Once all of your allies got loaded in the wagon, Applejack and Rainbow Dash volunteered to pull it. The road was bumpy along the ride. "So, how's your family doing on the rock farm?" You ask, curious of how this world works.

Suddenly, Pinkie fell over, laughing. "A rock farm? Good one, Twilight!"

"I'm serious," you say. "In my world, your family lived on a rock farm."

Pinkie got up from laughing, realizing that you're actually serious. "My family doesn't live on a rock farm, they don't even live on the farm. They all live in my village with me, and work in our family bakery.  We named it The Pie Bakery. You nod, listening to Pinkie. You were surprised that Pinkie lived with her family.

"I understand that there are counterparts in this world, so do you know my counterpart?" You ask.

"Oh, yeah, I know. You were  a teacher who worked at the schoolhouse. You always had a passion for knowledge, but an even bigger passion of sharing it with others," Pinkie said.

You nod. This world seems a lot strange to you. You notice that it isn't the completely opposite, or completely same as you world. "Who's the librarian?"

"That would be Cheerilee," Pinkie answers.

"In my world, I use to be a librarian, but now I'm a princess," you say.

Pinkie gasps. "You're an actual princess? Wow, that's so cool! I mean, you said you had wings and a horn, so I thought you were an alicorn queen, but a princess? Princesses aren't that lucky in my world. They're still earth ponies. Celestia is an earth pony too, even though it seems like she actually should be an alicorn since she's in the royal family. Actually I think all the members of the royal family should be alicorns."

"Wait, so princesses aren't alicorns?" You ask.

Pinkie shakes her head. "Only queen are alicorns. There's a queen for each nation. Though it would be interesting to have other creatures roam around Equestria rather than ponies."

"In my world, there are other creatures. There are griffons, and yaks. There are many more," you say.

"Wow, I'd really want to live in your world, it's so interesting," Pinkie tells you. Finally you arrive at Tolretnac. You and your friends step towards the entrance guarded by the royal guards.

As you approach the big castle doors, the guards block them. "Speak you purpose," one says.

"I'm the royal baker," Pinkie said. "I need to talk with Queen Luna."

The guards observe Pinkie closely for a few moments. "Check for weapons," one guiard says to the other. He checked all the ponies for weapons.

"All clear," he reported.

"You may enter," the guards unblocked the doors, and you and your friends enter.

"I didn't you you were the royal baker," you say, shocked.

"Since my food was so good, Queen Luna wanted me to cook for her. We were close together for a while. Then when she asked me, I said that I couldn't leave my family, and my family wanted to stay in the village. So Queen Luna said I could live in the village, and cook for her. And that sure did bring in a lot of business," Pinkie explained.

You see Queen Luna sitting on a big throne, and Celestia on the smaller one. Celestia would've looked like an ordinary village pony if she wasn't sitting on a throne. Queen Luna looked majestic and wise. She looked like a more mature version of herself compared to the Luna in your world, and Celesri alooked smaller compared to her.

Queen Luna smiled. "Pinkie, how are you? What must you ask of?"

Pinkie stepped up. "Hi, Luna! We found out that the prophecy is true! Our savior has come! She can end the terror," Pinkie said. She stepped back, motioning you to step forward.

"Hello, your majesty," you begin formally. "I am Twilight Sparkle, and I have fallen out from the sky this day."

"So, Zecora was right, the prophecy is true," Queen Luna said to herself.

"Zecora? She's the one who told all the prophecies? Does she live in the Everfr- er, Eerfreve?" You ask.

Queen Luna nodded. "She was known for telling prophecies, and lived in the Eerfreve. Ponies would come all day, form in long lines, just to hear her prophecies. Once I knew that these prophecies were coming true, I knew I had to meet her, to end the the terror caused by The Tyrant."

"What's The Tyrant?" You ask, confused.

"Ever since this crisis began, a few ponies have seen the pony responsible for this. She had lit many villages on fire, and dark magic and bad luck lurks wherever she goes. Ponies described her as a horrifying, cruel monster. And that was how the name, The Tyrant, was born," Queen Luna answered.  "Which is why you will go on a quest to stop The Tyrant once and for all. I will arm you with the necessities that you need."

"Okay!" Pinkie bounced to follow Queen Luna. You and the others follow her to the weapon room.
