Velvet growled at the next guard to walk in front of her cage, only to receive a slap to the cage. The other mares looked at her angrily, Unicorns with horns cut short and filed, pegasi with Wings replaced with foam things, usually with a design to reflect that mare’s previous position. She reached up to her own head to feel her stump where her horn once stood.
Velvet wasn’t always like this, where she despised stallions with every fiber of her being. She, in fact, had a stallion all her own, who made her happy. Up until the fall. The day the Caribou took over and changed things, turning mares into nothing more but slaves, most of them going into heat for the rest of their lives, never finding release, while all of the stallions became sadistic, horny beasts. All of equestria circled around the punishment of mares, new techniques to torture a mare's body and make her submit, and the Caribou even used the princesses as examples.
Velvet was soon snapped back into reality, taking in the adoption center around her. Most of the cages had Water bottles attached to them, like that that could be found on a small animal cage, but unlike the typical household bottle, A white liquid was inside, with a stallions member coming off of the end. Velvet snarled, a cruel attempt to teach a mare to be good, to be practice for a mare to please her master with her mouth. Velvet had been here long enough to see the mares take it. Disgusting. They’ll actually drink it as if it was water. The thought made her gag.
Other than the colorful mares in each cage, the room was a plain grey, a few posters here and there featuring one of the princesses or the Elements of Harmony, with messages that were usually along the lines of “Submit” and “Only good mares get adopted.” At the end of the room, a small plaque was labeled “Try out” and next to it lie a few assorted toys, while there was a board lock that resembled that of a guillotine attached to the floor, where a mare was usually locked if a possible adopting Stallion could try out the mare.
Velvet gave a sigh and glared at the mares locked in cages, most of them had forgotten that they were once more than a number or toy. She closed her eyes. One more day without being adopted, you’re doing well, Velvet. The adoption center was preparing to close, and she let out a breath she had been holding all day, until she heard a noise on the other side of the door, where she could only assume buyers would come in.
“Good Evening, Mr. Shadow. We are soon going to close, it there something you need?” Velvet heard a stallion's voice on the other side, the one who sold the Mares for adoption. at that sound, a majority of the mare's ears perked up, and some even got into position, where the sat on their knees and stuck their tongues out like dogs awaiting a command. Velvet bared her teeth and prepared herself for the stallion to head through the door.
It wasn’t long, soon, a deep blue stallion walked through the door, his presence made Velvet shiver, he seemed to bring the temperature down by at least ten degrees. His eyes her a pale mint green and he had a blue streak in his mane and tail. he surveyed the room with cold eyes, his face as stiff as concrete. He walked to all of the cages, inspecting each Mare, some of them even began to drink from their bottles, showing off their mouths, Velvet continued to bare her teeth. The stallion looked at each cage coldly, until finally, his eyes landed on Velvet.
“How much for the purple one?” He didn’t break his stare into Velvet’s eyes, making her growl. the Adoption Center worker looked nervous.
“Are you sure? She’s a fighter, none of the Stallions have been able to touch her, she has a tendency to bite too.” The guard cringed, Velvet gave him a dark grin, remembering when he tried, and failed, to her to pleasure him.
“Yes, I’m sure.” He replied. And the guard left to go get the paperwork. He approached the cage and grinned, Velvet did not back down, and she stared at him angrily. “I’m going to be the one to break you. Velvet.” He grinned and backed off. He walked out and went to sign his papers and pay. He was the first stallion to call her by the name on her tag since she had been stuck here, the thought made her angry. But there was still that small thought that said,Hey, he’s not totally heartless...
