A whole new world

It was a very nice day in Ponyville and a Pegasus pony called Speedy Sounds went exploring because she was very bored. She went down to Sugar cube corner to get herself a nice caramel muffin with oozing chocolate sauce,then she went down to visit her friend Rainbow Dash and then she didn't know what to do next,Speedy was stuck....

She really wanted to do something exciting and adventurous,something that is out of this world. So she went to Canterlot castle.

  She went and explored around the castle and happened to find a portal. The exact same portal that Twilight went through, She stared at it and felt tempted to go through the portal to see what was on the other side.

"I really want to see what's on the other side,but i'm not sure if it's safe for me too go in."

Twilight appeared behind her and looked at her really in a weird way,like something wasn't right.

"Speedy what on earth are you doing?",Speedy turned around and got startled by Twilight. She looked scared because she thought Twilight followed her to Canterlot.

"I am just thinking about going through this portal,I want to see where it takes me." Spike suddenly appeared behind Twilight.

"Twilight you got to slow down,I turned my back for about 3 seconds and you were literally gone!" Speedy Sounds was ready to go through the portal,and she felt a bit nervous about not knowing what is on the other side.

"Speedy are you sure you are going to be okay?" Speedy turned around and looked at Twilight like she was very crazy.

"Of course I am going to be okay, I am a fast Pegasus pony,I can get out of trouble in a flash!" Twilight looked at her in a trustworthy way.

"Okay,when you are ready." Speedy took a very deep breathe and walked slowly through the portal. Just as Speedy finished walking slowly through the portal she saw a big school and it was called Canterlot High.

"Wow,this looks amazing!" Speedy noticed something different,she looked at herself and freaked out."

"Why do I look so different, I have little lines coming out of my hooves!" Speedy looked at the rest of herself and freaked out a little more.

Speedy took some time to calm down and then she went inside the school and soon as she walked through she saw a beautiful girl with red  and yellow hair. She acted dizzy and smitten and accidentally bumped into her.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry I didn't see you,said the mysterious girl. Speedy looked at her and started to turn as red as a tomato.

"Its fine, it's my fault, I just went all funny when I saw you." The girl looked at her and started to blush and became really nervous. They both felt in the exact same position.

"Aw,thanks that's a really cute thing to say." Speedy was speechless and didn't want to say anything else because she doesn't want to end up being a flirty person.

"I think I should be heading to class,i'll see you around girl with the blue hair." Speedy wanted to introduce herself too her but she was too scared to talk to her anymore.

"Well that was weird,I have never met a girl so beautiful in my entire life." Speedy looked around and saw a familiar face.

"Hey do you have any advice for crushes?" The girl she asked that question too happened to be Twilight,but she didn't notice.

"Well, be yourself and tell your crush how your feel, if your shy then boost up your confidence and believe in yourself." Speedy smiled and took the advice and stored it in her head so she can always remember it.

"Thank you so much,i'll remember that." Speedy looked at the dog she was holding in her hands and stroked it.

"You got a nice dog,he is so cute." Twilight looked at Speedy in a nervous way.

"Thanks,his name is Spike,your not going to tell the principal i brought a pet to school are you?" Speedy looked at her in a confused way, Speedy thought you could take pets anywhere you want.

"No course I won't, and my friend has a baby dragon called Spike." Twilight seemed shocked to hear that Speedy has a friend who has a baby dragon.

"Listen, i'd really love to stay and chat more,but I am going to be late to class,see you around girl with the blue hair." Twilight ran so fast like never before,she seemed really worried about being late to class.

"Why does everyone call me the girl with the blue hair?" Speedy was confused and didn't know what to do now everyone was in their classes.

She tried to find away to talk to that mysterious girl more,and get to know her,she doesn't even know her name yet.

"I think I should wait till everyone has finished their lessons,then I can ask the girl what her name is." Speedy was waiting near the lockers until everyone had started to come out of their classes. Speedy got bored after a while,so she had a wonder and happened to walk near the class her crush was in.

"That's the girl's class!" Speedy said in an excited voice. Speedy tried to hide herself and watch the class through the stained glass.

"Look at her,she is gorgeous." Speedy started to fly in the air,she saw pony ears and wings come out of her and a long pony tail.

"Why am I flying?!" Speedy started to worry, she didn't want anyone to catch her in the corridor flying. All of a sudden the class saw Speedy flying through the stained glass.

"Hey it's the girl with the blue hair, and she is flying?!" Speedy looked at the class and she pulled an embarrassing face.

Speedy soon began to lose the pony wings,ears and the long pony tail,and she ran away so nobody could find her.

She ran out of the school,then ran up to the portal and bashed into it, Speedy felt really dizzy.

"WHY ISN'T THE PORTAL WORKING?!" Speedy looked confused and tried to figure out why it was closed.

"Hey there." Speedy turned around and started to blush again,it was the girl she has a crush on.

"Oh,hi there,how did you know I was here?" Speedy was glad it wasn't the girl's teacher,if it was Speedy would be in deep trouble.

"I looked everywhere around the school and I thought I heard you screaming outside, I heard you say "where is the portal." Speedy took a deep breathe and asked the girl what her name was.

"What's your name?" Asked Speedy, it may not sound not that nerve wracking asking someone what their name is, but Speedy can be a bit shy sometimes when it comes to getting to know people.

"My name is Sunset Shimmer,what's yours?" Speedy looked at her and she felt her heart pounding and she felt very smitten.

"My name is Speedy Sounds, I am very fast." Speedy said in a boasting voice. Sunset looked at her and giggled.

"Sounds like you are fast because your name is Speedy Sounds,you seem so cute as well the way you always act around me,we should go out some time." Speedy looked at her and she went so red like she was sun burnt.

"As in dating?" Speedy said in a quiet voice. Speedy was hoping she would say yes,She has always wanted to be in a relationship since she started making friends in Ponyville.

"Yeah,of course dating, I fell in love with you since I first bumped into you by accident." Speedy felt inside a burst of excitement inside her,she wanted to let it all out but didn't want to become too smitten and start flying again.

"I felt the same way since I met you, I was scared to talk to you,so i tried to boost up my confidence. Sunset looked at her and started to have tears of joy in her eyes.

"Do you know why you were flying?" Speedy tried to think of an answer to the question,but still didn't figure it out.

"I was actually wondering myself,I saw some pony wings come out of me,it was weird." Sunset looked at her in a surprised way. Speedy also looked really surprised.

Speedy and Sunset went back inside the school,and planned a day where they can have the time of there lives together. Sunset was free on a Friday,so they planned their date. They said they were going to meet outside the school at 7:00 in the evening.
