Beneath the skin

I was sleeping when I herd a stick break I jumped to see a female deer staring at me then she ran I just sighed then I herd my belly rumble I wonder if I am the only one who says that anymore when they get older anyways with that I grabbed a Fish that I had ready from the fire I started to eat with my wolf teeth after I was done I went back to sleep in my tent I mean the grass was nice but still. I was about to got to dreamland when aging I could hear movement form three ways and that was in front of me I got ready just in case but I pretended to be a sleep to get the drop on them then in one quick movement I hear a crash. I opened one eye to three kids rubbing there forehead one was a orange coat earth filly with a white short mane that only went down the back of his head and stopped as it got to his shoulder next one was a Zebra I think they're called she had rings on her front hove's and three rings on her mane and on her neck the last one a changeling that had a blue and black eyes and green and black colored fur but it looked more like a shell she had holes in her front and back hove's and in her wait no mane but I was interrupted for future thoughts when one of them talked.

        "Great now I have a bump on my head thanks strips and orange!"I can tell she was trouble now let's see how the other ones are like.

        "Mind if I ask what you are back where I live I never seen anything like you and it's this how you say hi to ponies."ok she clearly is not from around here now the colt.

       "Um please don't be mad I didn't see where I was going please don't be mad,"ok we got a shy one I got up they must t not notice me getting up.

       "No you stupid strips that's not how a pony greats some pony!"I walked right behind the changeling with a smirk I cleared my voice.

       "Hay what are you kids doing out here in the ever Free Forest if you want you can stay and eat,"I could tell they where scared they were frozen I just laughed and walked over to the tent I went in and lad down waiting for them I know that a part of me said they would run but then I saw them come in and look around.

         "I am so sorry sir I really am I don't mean to take some apples,"I thought about it why is he so worried like his life depends on it I was going to think further about it when the Zebra kid snapped me out of it.

     "This house of yours is this how all house look with ponies?" I was about to answers her question but the changeling kid beat me to it.

      "Wow I bumped into a crybaby and idiot,"she smirk as she had pride in it just great and when I look in there eyes I see pain in there eyes like mine when I was a filly I can tell there orphans I can't believe l am thinking of this.

     "Hay little dude I know you don't mean and for you miss Zebra no this is a tent that ponies use when they want to see the wilderness and for you little miss hotshot don't be so mean or you won't get any food in the morning now it's time to go to sleep good thing I brought extra sleeping bags I went over to mine and got in I watched then copy me I turned over to blow out the lantern now with everything in pitch black i turned back over but I suddenly I felt two bodies in front of me in my sleeping bag and one on my back I just rolled with it and closed my eyes.

      I was the first to wake so I slowly got out of the sleeping bag to make dinner I don't know what they like so I will just make my favorite I was almost do when I heard them get out of the tent I turned to them as I put the two bowl down and I had two fried fish that was almost ready.

   "So what you're names kids well a dad dose need to know there name so?"it turned silent as I looked at them they were silent I realized they haven't made one well I know how to fix that.

      "Well miss Zebra or my daughter your name is Coughtie,"I could tell she like it I did too it sounded exotic and new now the next one I walked over to the changeling who was give me don't give me a retread name look.

       "And now miss little trouble maker I will call you Sheva,"I saw her open her mouth to retort but she stopped her self will I like it now the last one I walked over to the little colt his eyes winded ready to hear his new name.

      "You my strong filly I will call you Haywire now I got cocked fish for me and Sheva you Haywire and Coughtie I have two bowls of Apple oatmeal once we are done we will head in town to get a house to live in,"I have to be the best dad I can be so first I need more clocks wait his is big well because I have a tail you know being a hybrid of a pony and timber wolf so I got the clock ready I hope this works I  got to work on taking down the tent when I got done I look back at the log to them finishing there breakfast

  "Why do we have to stay under this clock I thought you might have a better idea,"I just keep going I know Coughtie it loving the things she never seen before and Haywire is scared and Sheva was mouthing I saw no houses that was for them to take then it hit me I got not a lot of money. I mentally slapped myself how was I going to get a house then something cashed in to my face a newspaper I grabbed it with his front hove claws there was a add that said roommate wanted  I went over with the kids to the house it was a bucking miracle they were looking for a new roommate to help pay the bills even easier I could hear a violin and a Dj stand going off so I knocked on the door.

       "Ow hay you must be here for the add right,"in front of me was a unicorn with a white coat and a blue mane with white lines going down it she also has a pair of glasses I nodded I walked in her house to another mare she was a earth pony with a light gray coat and a dark brown mane.

       "Welcome our home well I its your home now too,"I got ready for their reaction as I take off the clock.

     "I hope you don't mind that I have a family to care for so please let us stay here I want them to live good lives,"I saw the two ponies look at each other then the Dj mare sighed.

      "All right you have to get a job though man and why are you like that and what's your names?"I smiled as I put my hove claw on my chest.

     "I am Hove a hybrid of a pony and timber wolf and this is Sheva,  Coughtie and Haywire,"I looked at them I pointed one of my front hove claw out to them

       "I am Octavia and this is Dj pon 3 I am glad to have you live with us,"I smile with my two fangs out well what could go wrong now.
