From Mobius to Equestria

     It was noontime for the citizens of Station Square. Sonic the Hedgehog and his pals are walking around, having fun, but not for long. The ground shook little by little with minor indications.

     "You guys feeling something rumbling?" asked Sonic. "Or is it just my stomach?"

     Knuckles slapped his forehead intentionally. "No, it's definitely what you first said. Besides, you ate only two chili dogs and you were satisfied."

     "Bah, I know," Sonic replied. "Do you know what it is, Tails?"

     "I don't know, Sonic." Tails wondered. "It seems that everything is perfectly fine." He pulls out the Chaos Emeralds and finds nothing wrong with them either. But once he stopped flying for a bit, he touched the ground and a massive earthquake occurred.

     "W-what's going on?" Amy asked. She quickly grabbed onto Sonic, hoping for him to protect her. "Sonic, help!"

     "Gahh, Amy, not now!" Sonic struggled to break free and finally did. "This must be Eggman!"

     Dr. Eggman drilled out of the ground, proving Sonic right. "Indeed it's me, Sonic! I see that your fun is about to come to an end! Now Tails, would you kindly give me those Chaos Emeralds?"

     Tails obviously refused. He gave him a firm look in the eyes. "There's no way I'm giving you these! We've defeated you before and we can do it again!"

     "Oh really?" Dr. Eggman tested Tails. "Well let's see how you like it when I bring out an old friend of yours! Shadow, come on out!"

     Sonic was devastated. He couldn't understand why Shadow was helping Eggman now instead of him. "What did you do to him, old man?"

     "Hey, that wasn't very nice!" Dr. Eggman added. "Shadow will remain loyal to me and only me, he will."

     "Yes, doctor," as Shadow finally spoke. "I wish to serve you and bring you the Chaos Emeralds for your ultimate plan."

     "Shadow, don't do this!" exclaimed Rouge the Bat. "I know you!"

     Flashbacks came to Shadow, but he was still under Eggman's influence. "R-Rouge?"

     "Grr, snap out of it and get me those emeralds!" he demanded.

     "Ehh, yes doctor!" Shadow regained his focus. He slammed onto the ground and performed his Chaos Control. "Chaos Control!"

     "Nooooo!" as our heroes attempted to stop the now evil duo. But, the damage has been done since they were all teleported, but surprisingly, including Dr. Eggman and Shadow. Sonic and his friends did manage to hold on to one Chaos Emerald. They now find themselves in a strange, new world.

     "Ohhhh man...." Sonic woke up confused. "Where the heck are we, Tails?"

     "I don't know," mumbled Tails on the ground. He got up and looked all around. "This isn't the city and it's not Mobius either!"

     "Is this a castle?" asked Sonic. He touched a bunch of things and confirmed what he said. "Yup, this is a castle. Hey, where's our friends?" Tails was going to ask the same thing.

     "Yeah, where did they go? Huh? Someone's coming this way! Just stay calm!"

     A mysterious and light pink pony approached the two friends, but even she seemed confused. "Hello, who are you two?"

     Sonic and Tails both introduced themselves and they were about to ask the same of the pony, but she called out one of her friends.

     "Twilight!" she exclaimed with curiosity.
