Rainbow dash looked at her reflection in the mirror, at her flowy white dress with a gold belt and outline. What most ponies would call beautiful she called itchy. Her ears flinched as a blue aura placed a gold flower head piece on her head.
“Ohh darling don’t you just look splendid” rarity cooed looked at the dressed up rainbow
“And uncomfortable” rainbow said under her breath pulling at the two tight belt around her waist
“Oh shush now rainbow don’t you want to look good for your stallion” rainbow rolled her eyes at yet another mention of Sorin. “he’s not my stallion” Ever since he asked her out, whatever they said started with ‘Sorin this’ and ‘Sorin that blah blah blah’ ugg she was sick of it.
“Well he will be your stallion after he sees you in this” said rarity as she tightening the belt on rainbow
“AHH OW OW!! CANT BREATH!!!” yelled rainbow as the belt was cutting off the circulation to her lungs
“Dang RD ya gotta lay off the citer” said apple jack as she looked at rainbows slightly big waist
“Well YOU have to stop making it” rainbow replied with a smirk
“Ok” said apple jack with a shrug
“NO NO NO PLEASE DON’T!!!” rainbow pleaded instantly regretting what she said AJ simply laughed and pounded her hoof against the table
“Ha the fact that ya actually believed me was hilarious”
“Ok rainbow darling time for your makeup YAY” gigged rarity as pulled out some blush and mascara
“OH NO NO NO NO NO” rainbow said as she baked away bloking her face with her wings “that was not part of the deal you put me in a dress and that’s ALL” rarity just sighed looking disappointed
“Sorry I just wanted to make you look nice on your first date” rarity looked down
“OH MY GOSH!!! THIS IS ARE LITTLE DAHIES FIRST DATE!!! AWW THEY GROW UP SO FAST!!!” screamed pinkie as she grabbed dashies- I mean rainbow dash’s face and squashed it all together making her look much younger “UGG PINKIE!!!” she complied scowling at the pink mare
“OUPS SORRY~~” said pinkie in a sing song voice
“So rares what restaurant are you making me and Sorin go to” rainbow tried to sound happy but her attitude Shure didn’t show it
“Italianni’s the most upper class restaurant and what do you mean by making you two go is there a place you rather go” she asked
Rainbow bit her lip “the hay burger” she mumbled
“OH NO NO NO NO NO WHAT WERE YOU THINKING” rarity gave a small sigh of relief “that celesta I came in to help”
rainbow rolled her eyes “yup thank goodness”

“Oh nothing”
“Um rainbow dash” said a small shy voice
“Oh hey flutters” said rainbow her mood suddenly brightening at the sight of her best friend
“I was kind of wondering if you would tell us how Sorin asked you out if that’s ok with you” flutter shy squeaked
“Flutter shy is right darling you never did tell us” her other five ponies friends agreed and nodded their heads rainbow sighed”ok ok this is what happened”
Rainbow dash flared her wings out ready to fly 10 laps around the academy like spitfire asked them. She was about take off then a light blue hoof taped her shoulder she turned around to see a light blue stallion with tossed back dark blue mane and emerald green eyes, it was Sorin
“Oh hi Sorin, what’s up” rainbow said in a gleeful tone
“Hi rainbow dash uh… nice weather were having today…” he said with a nervous look on his face his cheeks burning red rainbow raised an eyebrow at this
“Ok Sorin I’m not an idiot, what do you want” she asked of course she would never talk to spitfire or fleetfoot like that but at the best young flyer competition Sorin told her not to treat him then she would any other pony.
“Umm….uh dash can I ask you something” he said somehow even more nervous he looked down trying to hide his blush, this just made rainbow more curious “Sure” she answered
“Do you want to maybe want to go out with me and get something to eat or something…?” he murmured. This took rainbow by surprise she’s never been asked out “you mean like a date?” if possible he looked even MORE envious “yea….” Rainbow needed a moment to think about this she liked Sorin but as a friend she wanted to say no but then all her friends would think she was to scared RAINBOW DASH IS NOT SCARED OF ANY THING!!! And besides it would be a fun experience right?
“Um ok” she answered. Like a light Soren’s face lite up “REALLY?!” rainbow snickered at Soren’s giddy reaction “yea but wer-” “RAINBOW DASH GET YOUR FLANK OVER HERE” yelled a VARY angry spitfire rainbow dashed over to spitfire when she turned around and heard Sorin yell “ILL WRITE TO YOU THE REAST OF THE INFORMATION ”

“awwwwwww” all of the mane six coed except rainbow. Rainbow just rolled her eyes, her friends did exactly what she thought they would. All of the 6 ponies turned their head to the door as a soft knock was heard from the door. “OH MY GOSH HEEEEE’S HERE” rarity squealed bouncing up and down like pinky. “I will get it. Ok rarity” said rainbow in a stern tone. Rarity just made a pouty face and trotted away from the door, rainbow flew over and opened the door revealing a very well dressed Sorin who had a smile on his face but after looking at rainbow dash his whole face turned into one of aww and his face was bright red. Rainbow stopped to look at him they did this for a good 2 minutes “how much longer do you think they can keep staring at each other” a high pitched voice broke both of their trances “oh.. rainbow dash you look good..” started Sorin but awkwardness keep him from speaking more “uh you to…” rainbow said a silence hung in the air between both of them. Sorin decided to speak up “well we should get going then” rainbow looked up into his emerald green eyes as he looked into her magenta one “yea I guess we should”
“HURRY UP AND KISS ALREADY!!!” yelled a high pitched voice. Both pegasi turned to the boutiques widow, both or their cheeks bright red. The pink pony in the widow was pushed by a purple unicorn “sorry” twilight said before closing the curtains. Rainbow looked at the baby blue Pegasus in front of her “let’s go” she said before the two flew off.
