Pinkie Pie's POV
A Gift is Given: 1
I had found the perfect gift for Sassy Saddles, and bought the special designer saddle for her. It is brand new of course, and moulded out of a highly elastic latex rubber. But alas, the best thing is that it is made to her measures.
The black rubber had been polished with a particularly shiny rubber with a pink shimmer to it and is glistering as if it was wet. With all the effort put into it, I truly hope she will enjoy wearing it.
Incidentally, the saddle had been moulded with me in mind; for me to be comfortable as I am riding her, even if I am not about to explain the details to her before she has tried it on.
This would also be the right time to confess; just how much I love riding, and that she is looking particularly hot in her saddle. Of course she was wearing a saddle, when I first saw her; when she was helping Rarity with opening her new Boutique in Canterlot, even if she was trampling her hooves a bit more than I am comfortable with. If the choice of her and giving her the saddle is due to how she looks, as she is wearing the saddle; but now I am looking forward to having her trying it out.
As I reached the apartment where Sassy Saddles lives, I had given the door a firm but tentatively seductive set of knocks; letting her know that I am here, without giving her anything more to go on.
A moment after I had knocked on the door; I hear the sound of hooves, knowing it is Sassy and that she is alone. It only takes her a minute to close the distance of her position and the door. I do appreciate the haste with which she is responding.
“Greetings, Pinkie Pie!” she exclaimed, as she had opened the door.
“Hiya, Sassy Saddles!” I responded.
“Come on in, Pinkie Pie. Could I tempt you with a cup of tea!” she added.
“Okelay, dokelay!” I responded; and followed her into the hall and closed the door behind myself, as she stepped to the side, in order to invite me.
“Right this way, please; Pinkie Pie!” she then prompted, as I followed her to her kitchen.
I couldn’t help but notice the shiny black stone tiles the floor in her hall had been laid with, while her walls are laid with cherry wood panels.
The floor in her kitchen had been laid with silicon white, smooth and shiny stone tiles; while the walls are covered with the same cherry wood panels, and so would the walls in the rest of her home be.
“I have a small gift for you, Sassy!” I exclaimed; as I placed the wrapped box containing the saddle, on her table.
“A gift for me? That is too kind of you, but I am not about to make you taking it back with you!” she pointed out, as she started to unwrap the carefully prepared gift in the cardboard box.
“I like bringing gifts to all my friends, you know. And you are my friend too, you know!” I prompted, just as she was opening the box before she set her eyes on its content.
“A saddle, and a beautiful one at that. I guess I have to try it on right away?” she insinuated.
“I noticed that you were wearing one, when I saw you at the opening of Rarity’s Boutique here in Canterlot. After looking into it, I figured this would be the perfect gift for you. If you allow me to lend a hoof or two?” I pointed out.
“Oh, most certainly!” she responded, lighting up as she anticipated the joy of trying her brand new and shiny saddle.
“I just need to help you taking of your old saddle first!” I prompted, as I unbuckled it and slipped it off of her back, before I rubbed in a clear gel all over her back before I placed her new saddle on her back and buckled it on firmly.
“I had never expected you to be such an expert in saddles, Pinkie Pie!” she gasped in excited surprise, as she realized just how well crafted the saddle is.
“I feel the weight of the saddle, but aside from that I barely feel it on my back. How much did you put into this?” she inquired.
“I don’t bother with second class items for my friends, but it was no cheap design, I can assure you. If you finish the tea, while I stash your old saddle away?” I offered her with glee.
“Wait, this isn’t just an expensive design; you must have ordered it to measure!” she pointed out, wiggling as she made the point.
“But of course, silly!” I giggled.
“How did you even get my measurements?” she inquired critically.
“Simple, I have an eye for details; and an eidetic memory!” I added.
“You mean to say that you could order a saddle to my exact measures, just by seeing me trot around in Rarity’s Boutique for a moment? You are a mean competition, when you put your mind to it!” she exclaimed, with a nervous giggle to her voice.
“I know all my friends intimately, and I know just about every Pony in Equestria, aside from the Donkeys, Mules and even the Griffons!” I prompted.
“How do you even get close enough to the Unicorns in Canterlot to be intimate with them?” she inquired incredulously.
“When you know Ponies, they are all pretty much alike. Although I guess it does help to know all the currently living Alicorns and Princesses and attending the Grand Galloping Gala a few times?” I suggested.
“All of them, but how many are there?” she inquired, as if it had not been obvious.
“Let’s see. There are Celestia and Luna, then we have Cadance and Twilight. They are all Princesses, but you would have known them; right?” I started off, counting on my hooves.
“Yes, but when you put it like this, you are purposefully leaving out the critical details of the puzzle, are you not?” she suggested.
“It wouldn’t be a puzzle, if I painted the picture in crisp crystal clarity; now, would it?” I pointed out.
“Like leaving out a few obvious details in a pattern; when you know the Pony, before you saw the gap before you even opened your mouth!” she prompted.
“With that said, there is a fifth Alicorn who has to remain unnamed for now; but you will see her soon enough, in your line of work and your connection with Rarity. I can promise as much, without going into details or anything!” I suggested.
“I guess that makes sense!” she responded, as she poured up the tea in the cups as she had promised.
“This is one of Rarity’s favourites, the Starswirl blend. Isn’t it?” I pointed out, further distracting her from what is at hoof.
“Yes, it is indeed, Pinkie Pie. I notice that you do know your teas as well. Something you picked up at the Carousel Boutique, perhaps?” she responded.
“Since Rarity is a Lady, tea is one of her passions; when she is not being generous or working on her fashions. While I do have a few other friends who enjoy the finer tastes of a good tea!” I prompted.
“Rarity is only too generous; which I hear was nearly crushing her in Manehattan, on that occasion. Thankfully, she pulled it through; largely thanks to her friends, and her professionalism!” she added.
“Being generous does come at a price; and it can end up on the rather stiff end of the scales, if you are not careful!” I pointed out.
I nonchalantly stroked the saddle on her back, as if it was merely incidental; while the actual purpose was to examine her reactions.
“Oooh!” she gasped; as the sensation hit home, rather than when the realization of the act sunk in.
“It felt that good?” I responded to her reaction.
“Oh yes, but how did you do that?” she merely gasped, in response.
“Didn’t I just explain; just how intimate I know my friends, my dear Sassy?” I teased her.
“Yes, you did. But, I never expected it to hint anything of this nature or relate to me in quite this personal or private a manner!” she pointed out, in questioning disbelief.
“You are far too assuming, my dear Sassy; and see just how far of track that just took you, right now!” I pointed out, carefully and seductively stroking the new saddle on her back for a full minute.
“Ooooh! How, how, how do you mean?” was all she managed to stutter, through her moan.
“Aside from all the jobs you have been losing, and how close you were to losing your job at the Canterlot Carousel? Just see how easily I distracted you, from what was going on as we enjoyed a fine cup of tea?” I prompted, as I left the saddle alone in order for her to be able to think clearly again.
“That experience hit me like a ton of bricks from a clear sky, but she was right. That still was a mean trick on your part, distracting me like that!” she pointed out.
“I plan parties, throw pranks and makes Ponies laugh and smile! What were you thinking? But alas, I did make you smile, didn’t I?” I pointed out.
“Pranks never was my part, but a party at an opening is still a good way to attract a few more interested Ponies to the event. Yes, that certainly did bring a smile to my face!” she concluded.
“You wouldn’t mind keeping the saddle on? As if you could ever take it off!” I prompted, as I was caressing her saddle with genuine and distracting passion.
“Ooooh! Why would I want to take it off, when it can feel this good?” she responded with an increasingly dreamy look to her eyes as the smile spread over her face.
“That’s good; because I have a surprise for you!” I put forth.
“Ooh?” she moaned in response.
