//-------------------------------------------------------// A hit from Rainbow Dash -by John the brony and yknow- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Right in the nose //-------------------------------------------------------// Summer break begins My name is John Andrews, me and my friends just finished the 4th year of high school at Juan Silva's High School in the edge of a school crisis, so they are going to close the school for quite a while, my best friend Aaron is going to Japan soon so i can't spend the summer in his house playing videogames or doing what stuff comes across my mind, i was thinking on making a trip to the country to have fun and, in a good case, find another high school to finish our studies, my other best friend Albert it's free and his sister too, so i will ask them to join my trip, another 2 girls, close friends of mine too, are Sarah and Mary, i will ask them too so i will have some good company, my younger brother will come too, good thing i have a big camper, or we couldn't travel, i was thinking of using my parent's van, but it's too small, so i with help of my grandpa and some hard work i've done as a co-programmer in an animation studio, i bought the camper. My brother is 13 and he isn't a freshman anymore, Albert's sister is 12 and she just finished elementary school, so she needs to study at a high school, i love how she and my brother are like the worst of enemies, while Albert and I are very united, Sarah and Mary love having fun and experiment new things that life brings to you, so i know they will accept my offer of going on a trip in summer, hopefully we will find another high school to return when summer break is over, i've seen some advertisements about Crystal Prep and Canterlot High, and some others, i will see if we can go and take a look at how they are. "Hey Albert, i have got some news about w-" "Oh please, i dont feel like talking righ now"Albert interrupts me angrily, he always had a bad temper, but i know how to calm him down "Hey what happened? tell me, what upsets you? did you make good notes?" He isn't very good at notes either, so i ask about that "Nah, i got some low grades, i can't believe that i got D in Spanish and E in history" He says with a voice of worry and anger "Bro, don't think about it very much, did you hear the news?" "What news? i haven't heard anything" I forgot that just some people know about the school closing "The school is closing, you dont have to care about theese notes, we are going on a trip in summer, do you want to come?" I ask in a calmed tone, si he can understand me and he can also calm down, i know he might have a bad temper and his grades are kinda low, but he is my friend and i would never let down anyone if they are in need, i also offer them for benefits like this trip, or when they need help studying "Sure! that would be awesome, where are we gonna go?" He asks excitedly with a grin on his face "We are going out of this town, but" "But... what?" Now he sounds confused "You have to take your sister with us" His face is now changing to a deadpan look "Why? aw man! you always ruin the good news!" "Your mother talked to me, she knew that the school would close, i told her about the trip and she asked me if i could find a high school for your sister, since she's already out of elementary school" "Pff, Pck, ah! okay, now tell me something, how are we supposed to travel?" He asks in confusion, i can feel how he is doubting of me, since i was a kid, i could feel what other people thinked of me, surprisingly i am right most of the times! "I bought a camper about a month ago, it is very large so you can sleep in the sofa while the others will sleep in our beds, speaking of others, i was also telling Sarah and Mary, what do you think?" "Sarah... Mary... the ones from the Chemistry class?" His tone sounds surprisingly more excited "Yes, those, so we will have more company, i also heard them talking about how they would spend the vacations, so i think they will accept" I hear a honk, it's Albert's father, i wave a hand to him, he looks at me and then to the road again, i think that is the bat temper in Albert's family "Ok man, i have to go, take care!" I yell at him while he gets away, i hope he heard me, man! his father is just like him, but more stiff. I wait there sitting on a bench, until i see Mary and Sarah, wow, if you wouldn't know them, you would say they are sisters, they are very close to each other, Sarah is quite the studious girl, not reaching the point of a nerd, and Mary is just the one that likes having fun, i have 2 options, telling them that the school is closed, in wich case i have Sarah in, or i can tell them about the funny trip we will have, then, Mary is with me, i've got them
