It was a windy day. Busy people were walking everywhere, some were even running, since they would be late for work if they don't hurry. It's already August, that month that all students despise. It was the first day of school. Girls and boys with colourful backpacks bolted from their homes to go to school. As much as they hate learning, students were really excited to see their friends again.
"Goodbye honey! Make sure to wear your scarf! It's pretty chilly!"
"Make sure you have your deodorant. You'll stink like a sweaty pig before you know it!"
"Goodbye son! I love you!"
The voices of parents saluting their children for the day were everywhere. They were answered by some "Thanks mom"s and "I love you too"s. With that, the students began walking, getting ready for another year of ultimate brain torture.
Rainbow Dash strolled down the street, carrying a white backpack with her. Like every other student, it was time for her to go to school. A little information about this girl: She is a beautiful 15 years old freshman who was as vain as a peacock. She is really sporty and is the captain of every sports team at CHS. She was scary to most of everyone. To students, she may seem...unapproachable and.......somewhat rigid, but don't worry, you'll get used to it sooner or later.
"Goodbye Dash! I'll see you in the afternoon!" A motherly and warm voice spoke. It came from inside a very beautiful and humongous sky blue mansion, which, believe it or not, belongs to someone us crazy MLP fans know very well.
"Bye mom!"
A raspy girl voice can be heard. Rainbow Dash rushed out of her mansion, carrying a cyan blue backpack with rainbow stripes on it. Her hair was all messy and tangled. She was wearing an oversized t-shirt and stylish yet weird looking slung pants. To be honest, she kinda looked like a hobo. Leaving a rainbow trail behind, Dash sprinted towards a cute shop that was covered in fake icing. As she pushed the door opened, she saw her 5 best friends inside, ordering drinks and eating some mini muffins. They didn't seem to notice Rainbow.
"Hey guys! What's up?" She cheerfully said as she walked towards her friends' table.
"Hello Rainbo- AHHH!!!" one of her friends gasped loudly. She has beautiful, smooth purple hair and wore an expensive looking dress. "Oh my gosh! Let me fix you up dear, you don't want to scare everyone away on the first day of school now would you?"
You guessed it. The one and only Rarity got up from her seat and pulled out a make up palette out of her purse. She then turned towards the very messy Rainbow and started applying make up on her face.
"HELLO DASHIE! AREN'T YOU EXCITED?! WE'RE GOING TO SCHOOL AGAIN!" a very pink girl exclaimed as she bounced around the shop like a basketball.
"Shhhhh! Pinkie! Ya might scare all the customers out of Mr. and Mrs. Cakes' shop!" the cowgirl sitting on the couch grabbed the pink one and whispered-shouted to her.
"Heh, I sure am Pinkie! This year's soccer team is gonna be legendary! As team captain, again, I'll make sure Wondercolts will be 20% cooler than any other team! OW! Rarity, stop that!" Rainbow was bragging about being team captain when Rarity accidentally poked her eye with an eyeliner.
"Oh, sorry darling. My fault." Rarity grinned sheepishly as she continued to line her tomboy friend's eyelids.
"Rainbow Dash. You are a freshman now. May I repeat, a freshman. Don't you think you should focus more on learning?" the red headed rocker questioned her friend.
"Well Sunset, I've known Dash for um, 7 years or something, and she could be very smart if she wants to...." the shy one with baby pink coloured hair spoke up.
"But she must study! SHE DOESN'T STUDY! I HAVE TO STUDY EVERY NIGHT TO GAIN GOOD MARKS! Fluttershy, you're with me, right?!" Sunset lost it. She always get annoyed when someone didn't study but they get good marks.
"Well, maybe it's just her talent!" Apple Jack tried to defend her friend.
"What talent?! She doesn't HAVE any talent!" Sunset growled. She was still getting the hang of not being mean.
"EXCUSE ME?!" Rainbow raised her voice.
"Um...girls...." Fluttershy tried to speak but her voice was not heard because of the arguing girls.
"Rainbow! Stand still! I'm trying to help you here!" Rarity sighed heavily.
"Well I would, if SOMEONE didn't piss me off!" Rainbow growled back at Rarity.
"This isn't fair! Why do I have to study to get good marks when SHE DOESN'T?!" Sunset folded her arms and pouted.
"Girls?" Fluttershy kept on trying to talk over her loud friends.
"WHY ARE WE YELLING?! DONUTS! PUDDING! CHERRY CHANGAS! CHIMMY CHERRY!!!!" Pinkie Pie shouted random words as she started to bounce again.
"Pinkie! Would ya cut it out?! And again, chimmy cherry changas are NOT real words!" Apple Jack said loudly.
"GIRLS!" Fluttershy whispered-shouted. It was the loudest she can get. "It's time! Let's go to school!"
"WOOHOO!" All of the girls stopped bickering and happily shrieked.
They sprinted out of the bakery and headed towards their new 2nd home: the beautiful CHS.
"Uh....honey? What just happened?" Mr. Carrot Cake asked his wife. She just smiled and shrugged.
"You know them, it's like a party everyday."

"Keep an eye out for our names!" Sunset yelled.
"And some air. I'm dying because of lack of air!" Fluttershy gasped loudly, trying to catch her breath.
The girls saw a giant board as they walked, which was located in the front foyer. This board showed the students which class they were in, their homeroom teacher, and their classmates. Once the kids know their homeroom class, they'll go to the Academic Service Office to get the class' schedule. The six girls stared at the board along with the crowd of students, excited to see which class they were in.
Rainbow was they first one to get in front of the crowd by squeezing through the students.
"Oh great, you guys are all paired up, or triply-paired...is that even a word?" Dash complained to her five friends.
They all studied the board, trying to find their names.
"Okay, okay. I found it." Sunset pushed Rainbow back and went up front. "Pinkie Pie, Rarity and me are in Mr. Zirconic's class."
"Oh, phew! He's superrrrr nice!" Pinkie sighed happily.
"Fluttershy, you are with Apple Jack in Mrs. Amethyst Maresbury's class."
"She ain't no fun!" Apple Jack pouted. Mrs. Amethyst was known for being the most boring teacher in school.
"What about me?!" Rainbow grabbed Sunset by the shoulder and asked worriedly.
"You're in.........Ms. Harshwhinny's class! Congrats! I love her! So inspiring, so strict!" Sunset congratulated her friend joyfully.
"Ew I hate her! And I'm...alone? I'm gonna be in that horrid class with NONE of my BFFS with me?!" Rainbow panicked.
"Seems like it." Apple Jack answered quickly.
Right after Apple Jack responded, the first bell rang. It was time to go to class.
"Well, bye you guys..." Rainbow sadly turned around and walked to her new class room, her back slightly slouching.
The other girls trade that 'Oh god what should we do' look. Pinkie Pie being the happy, joyful and randomly smart girl she is, ran and caught up to Rainbow Dash. She grabbed Rainbow by the ear and whispered in it.
"Hey, later we'll meet up in Sugarcube Corner okay? Just us girls! Apple Jack will even bring that apple cider you love so much!"
Rainbow Dash was like a deflated balloon that just got re-inflated. She smiled warmly and hugged Pinkie tightly.
"Thanks Pinks!" Dash then shouted louder so that the rest of the girls could hear it, "I'll see you guys then!"
With that, she darted off to Ms. Harshwhinny's class, leaving a colourful rainbow trail behind. Pinkie immediately turned back to the girls and shouted enthusiastically.
"Let the new school year begin!"
She ran towards them to catch up and they all walked to their new homeroom classes, laughing and talking all the way there.

Rainbow Dash was dashing quickly to her new homeroom class. She just realised that class would begin in 1 minute. After feeling a little tired, she tended to stop to catch her breath, but because of sprinting so fast, she couldn't stop right away.
"Woahhhh!" She shouted loudly through the halls.
Rainbow was about to bump into a locker, but instead, she bumped into something softer. Still pretty traumatised, Dash refused to open her eyes and hugged the thing she bumped into tightly. She heard a small chuckle.
'Shoot, are all the students laughing at me now? Did they see that? Oh my gosh! My reputation is ruined!'
Rainbow had a tiny mental meltdown before she slowly peeked. She was hugging a boy. A very tall and handsome boy...Dash immediately let him go and slightly blushed.
"Um...sorry!" She squeaked and attempted to run, but the boy grabbed her by the hand and pulled her back.
"Woah! I kinda save your face from hitting the ground, so you owe me. Do you know where Ms. Harshwhinny's class is?" He chuckled and asked Rainbow.
"Um...yeah! It's over there!" Dash tip toed to try to reach the same height as his, but she was still to tiny. She pointed to the end of the hallway.
"Oh! Thanks kid! By the way, you are REALLY short! Why are you in a high school? Is your older sibling here?" The boy questioned as he patted Rainbow on the head.
'Geez, such a jerk! If he wasn't older than me, I would probably kill him already! Wait...is he older than me? Probably, I mean, look at him!' She thought quietly before answering.
"Um, actually-" Dash was about to speak when the boy but he cut in. "Oh shoot! My class is starting! I need to go! Bye shortie!"
And with that, the boy dashed away to his class. Rainbow rolled her eyes.
'Shortie?! I'm not that short!'
Suddenly, Dash felt a vibration in her backpack. It was her phone. Rainbow took it out to see what was up. It was a reminder for herself. It read:
- Class is starting! So excited! -
Rainbow Dash stared at the phone's screen. She broke in a cold sweat. Looking around, she noticed that there are literally no one in the hallways. Class was starting and she was late. Dash just stood there like she was frozen. After a few seconds of realising what was happening, Rainbow face palmed herself.
"GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" She groaned loudly as she ran to her classroom.

"You are LATE missy. Go sit down!" Ms. Harshwhinny grunted as she pointed to a seat in the classroom.
All eyes where on Rainbow Dash as she made her way towards a table. She tried to avoid all of the eye contacts she was receiving. Dash immediately sat down and cupped her hands on her face to hide the embarrassing blush she was feeling on her cheeks. A few giggles can still be heard.
'Gah! Could this day get any worse?! First, I was separated from my friends. Then, I bumped into a senior idiot that I'm to scared to fight with, and now, I'm being drowned with humiliation!' She thought to herself.
Looking around the room to see who was in her classroom, Rainbow saw a few people she knew since middle school. Suddenly, she saw the most familiar face grinning at her from the other side.
"S'up shortie!" He whispered-yelled.
Rainbow could see that this was going to be a horrible year already. Is he a new friend, or a new foe?
".....Oh boy."
