Luna's POV
"But Tia!"
"No Luna...I will NOT LET YOU GO TO THE BAR!!"
"But we...I only wanted a few pints."
"Need I remind you what happened the last time?"
'Oh she didn't' "That was a thousand YEARS AGO Tia!!"
"Yes sister...but you you did blow up half of the tavern."
"TIA!"
"Princess Celestia...urgent news...the Gryphons need you immediately!"
"Luna,can please go take a walk instead of drinking, please?"
"Yes sister, we...I shall."
Reds POV
' I was walking...no prowling as the equines would say...just to get a rabbit. It's not that I don't want to hunt with a pack...but they kill ponies...and I like them, and I don't want to kill any of them. It's times like these I wonder if I was made to kill, or protect.'
"GET AWAY FROM VILE BEASTS, UNHAND ME!"
'Oh great merciful Faust is that princess Luna, my old pack must have ambushed her...they will die before they hurt anypony on my watch!'
Luna's POV
'I thought I was going to have a peaceful walk to the old castle...whilst I was waking through a small path In the everfree...I was ambushed by Timberwolves, I yelled at them to try to scare them, it didn't work. Two pinned me to the ground...while one howled to signal the others...I thought I was going to die...then another timberwolf, for some reason, attacked the pack.'
Reds POV
'I attacked my old pack...to save the princess...but they had grown in numbers...there were fourteen when I left...now there were twenty, maybe more. They ambushed the princess, to kill and eat her, and I was not going to let her die, not while I still drew breath. I attacked the two holding her down,they were suprised and easily were shoved off, ripped the ones throat out, and ripped the others spine out. Then I focused on the the others that were advancing on me.'
Luna's POV
' This beast had attacked his own kind...to protect me? Why would it do that? It turned and faced the others...and it attacked them with great speed and ferocity. It targeted the ones that tried to get me first...ripped them to shreds, and them growled at the only four left, and the four ran.'
Reds POV
They are still the same cowards I remember...typical, just typical. "If only they were intelligent."
"Did you just speak?"
" Crap...Maybe?"
"But how do you speak?"
"By opening my mouth and speaking."
"Being sarcastic won't help...can you just tell me?"
"No I can't. Now please be quiet."

'How does it not know why it can speak...wait how can it think?' "Beast...how are you so-"
"MY NAME IS RED, NOT BEAST!"
'It has a name!' "Sorry...Red how are you so intellectually superior to your kin?"

Reds POV
'This pony is really curious...can't blame her.'
"Can I keep you as my pet?"

"Purely just to study you without everyone knowing your intelligent."

'Hmm...the princess has a point...' "OK...I agree to let you study me, but no biopsy, OK?"

'Why would Red think that I would try to...is he joking'
"HAHAHAHAHA...YOU ACTUALLY...HA...oh my sides hurt!"
"That was not funny Red, it was actually very hurtful."
"Oh you'll get over it...after all...you are a princess...and you can't stay mad at your 'adorable little killing machine' can you?"

Reds POV
'Well I managed to become a 'pet' to a princess...yay so let's see were this goes after the 'honeymoon' comment.'
"WE ARE NOT MARRIED TO THOU!!!"
"Whoa there, calm down, it was just a joke."
"Sorry...Im kinda new to sarcasm."
"So I'm assuming I'm going to canterlot with you?"
"Yes, let us make haste...I want to let my sister see my new 'pet' ."
"Actually I'm tired so imma sleep real quick."
Luna's POV
'He wanted to sleep...wow...this is going to be difficult.' "Oh and you're more than welcome to sleep...after all...I only have about thirty minutes to lower the moon. No rush."
"Fine...I'll sleep in canterlot...let's go."
Thirty minutes later in canterlot castle
Celestia's POV
"You WHAT?"
"Oh Tia...calm down...he's docile enough...he actually protected me...but since he can't speak...I'll never know why."
"But he is a timberwolf, How is it docile?" 'Maybe he was trained'
"I don't know Tia, all I know is he is my New pet...I'll call him Red."
"OK sister...as long as he doesn't hurt anypony...and as long as he doesn't live up to that name...you may keep him."
After celestial said that...if you were in canterlot castle at the time...you could hear a scream of joy, and a yelp of surprise.
Luna's POV
'YAAAAY, I CAN KEEP HIM, I CAN'T WAIT TO FIND OUT HOW HE CAN TALK' "THANK YOU BIG SISTER, YOU'RE THE BEST!!!"
Reds POV
'Somepony kill me now...or get me out of this hug...PLEASE!!! I GET THAT ITS AN ACT...BUT BY FAUST...SHES GOING OVER THE BOUNDARIES WITH THIS...MAKE IT STOP'
"OK Luna...you can stop...please sister...just stop...you're scaring him."

Red was just lying there...sleeping...so I did what any mare would do...I put an alarm clock by his ear and waited for it to go off.
Reds POV
'RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNGGGG!!!'
"AHH SWEET FAUST, WHY!!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA...you are really good at sleeping."

I gave chase through the halls and corridors of the canterlot, plowing through nobles and guards before I finally caught her...pinned her to the ground...and bit into her wing...and broke her wing bones

well...I'm dead, nah she attacked first and she still alive, I could kill her. But I'm not. and she fainted...HA!

"You attacked Red, and he attacked you."

"I TRIED BUT YOU ATTACKED HIM AND INJURED HIM, YOU ARE LUCKY HE DIDN'T KILL YOU TWILIGHT!"

SWEET FAUST, they are loud. And why did the purple one...twilight hate me? I only hurt her....nevermind I should be in Tartarus for attacking a Princess. and what is that noise?

"Princess Luna, step away from the wolf!"

Ahh...so those weaklings are the guard...HA! that armor wont do anything to protect them...its not even enchanted properly. She should probably see to enchanting more physical protection spells onto her guard's armor.
13 hours later...Luna's bedroom
Luna's POV
"well...do you feel better now?" I asked
"no Luna...I hurt an alicorn...I should be in Tartarus for that!" Red replied
"Well you aren't...and if you were I'd be there with you." I retorted
"Luna...please stop talking and go to sleep." he said
"Awww...but its fun to make you stay awake!" I teased
