"Celestia and Luna can testify to the onus of immortality," Darqlon sighed.

"We can also testify to the mirth of athanasia," Luna retorted.

"No," Grey disagreed, "immortality is a curse."

The conversation of the six immortals had piqued the others interest but kept their comments to themselves. In truth, Dash would jump at the chance to become immortal, on the other side of the spectrum, Fluttershy saw death as natural and that everything should come to an end  without the aid of another to speed it along.

Kyllgorr eyed Amy whom clutched his arm tightly with hers as they walked, "I still do not know why you became a Mer'Lahn, while Rarity became a Dehs'a'noi."

"Probably because being an elf is much better!" Amy elated.

"But the Dehs'a'noi are more powerful with magic."

"Yeah, but they aren't as cute as me," she chimed and beamed from pointy ear to pointy ear.

"I'll say," Kyllgorr smiled with agreement.

"How much longer 'til we get there?" Dash complained as she dragged her feet behind everyone.

"Our world is at least six times bigger than yours so everything will be farther away," Onyx informed her.

Grey stopped suddenly and the group stopped. He turned to the chromatic hair girl and smirked, "We are here."

Everyone stared at the rock face they had been following for the past day in confusion.

"Surely you must be joking," Luna stated impassively.

"Of course not, my dear," Grey pushed a rock on the ground with his foot, mechanical sounds could be heard from the rock, "And don't call me 'Shirley'."

The ground started to rumble and a large section in the rock face split in half as it slowly descended into the ground. Grey stepped inside the new cave and his footstep had a metallic thud. A light came to life above him as it cast it's soft white glow over him. He turned to the group with a boyish grin and then ran down the cave as lights illuminated the path in front of him. Darqlon followed suit. Kyllgorr and Amy filed in behind him. One by one everyone entered the cave. Fluttershy was the last to enter and shrieked when the entrance closed behind her. She darted off to quickly catch up with the others.

Heaven

"So," Mystin flipped his cape, annoyed, "you are going to cheat, eh?"

"Whatever are you talking about, brudder?" Dèshū asked with an innocent smile and pink eyes.

"That piece wasn't there when I went to the restroom!" he pointed at the chessboard.

"Brudder," she spoke calmly, "I do not need to cheat to win," she glowered at him, "Unlike someone I know," she gibed.

Mystin roared and flung the chessboard off the pedestal. He grabbed her neck, almost able to touch his thumb and middle finger, and picked her up as far as the chains let him.

"Do it," she sneered, "I. Dare. You," her eyes glowed hotly.

Mystin shoved her down on her throne, "You still are of use to me."

"Funny," she cleared her throat and fixed her dress, "my thoughts exactly."

She earned a side glance from him, his violet eyes plotting.

Underworld

She sat atop the black spire and ignored the fighting below. She could care less about the antics of her deranged uncle. Beeping rang in her satchel, her face scrunched up in confusion.  She reached into the leather satchel to retrieve the beeping pad. As she touched the screen, it flashed to life.

"Intruder Alert," she read as the alert flashed red across the screen.

She nonchalantly clicked on the screen and immediately brought it up to her face. People were walking through Vault 18. She recognized a few as her uncles. Her face grew hard when she swiped the pad and a new image of the man who impregnated her mother appeared on the screen. The glow of her straw colored eyes reflected off the screen which threatened to bore through the device.

The spire shook which snapped her back to reality. With one last sneer at the device, she returned it to her satchel. A second tremble caught her attention as she looked down. An Abyssal Dragon roared and purple flames engulfed the Fallen unfortunate enough to get caught in the inferno.

"Thanks, mother," she rubbed a platinum amulet between her thumb and index finger lovingly before she jumped off the spire.

She landed on the head of the Abyssal Dragon, crashing its lower jaw on the stony ground. It reared back and roared. She held onto one of its mangled horns and punched it on the crown of it's skull. It roared in agony and shook it's head to get rid of the unwanted passenger. She held fast onto two horns, brought her legs up as high as she could  her knees in front of her face  and drove her heels into it's skull. A sickening crack and howl of pain was her reward for her action. The mighty dragon crumbled underneath her.

She grabbed it's blotted scaled ear and growled, "You are mine now!"

"Yes... yes, mastress," he labored.

She pulled back on his horns which made him raise his head towards the Dark Gates, "You will take me to the small village of Kraehn."

"I... know not...." he was cut off by his new mastress.

"Just head to the Maker's Garden," she snapped.

He unfurled his blotted, blistered dark purple wings and launched himself to the sky, "Yes, mastress."

The gates drew closer with each beat of the dragons massive wings. Within seven beats, he was three of his lengths away from the gates. He roared in pain as something violated the breach of his skull which pressed against his brain.

"And if you even think about running away or betraying me, I will not hesitate to kill you," she warned.

"N-never, Mastress," he replied. Suddenly, the top of his head was enveloped in a warm feeling, he winced in pain, but then there was no longer any pain screaming from his head. "Did... did you heal me, m-mastress?" he asked bewildered.

"Silence. Of course I did. I don't need you dying on me before I even reach that man," she scowled.

"What man, mastress?" the dragon cautioned to ask.

They flew through the gates before she answered him, "The man who killed my mother," the words poured out from her mouth heavy with venom.

A chill ran down his spine and figured it would be wise to not speak and reach the Maker's Garden as fast as he could fly.
