Return of the Power Ponies

Back in Ponyville, Twilight was with Fluttershy and the others over at Rarity's Boutique helping her put finishing touches on outfits she had made for a group of super models who were going to be having a showdown contest in Manehattan to see which had the best dress, as Twilight had put the last outfit into the box and closed it, they all breathed a sigh of relief because it had took them 6 to almost 7 hours to help Rarity make all those outfits and they were looking forward to a relaxing evening with nothing but their own to-do lists.

"Well, I must say, it certainly has been a good afternoon's time for work." Twilight said.

"Yeah, my hooves are killing me!" said Rainbow Dash rubbing her aching hooves.

"At least ah'm sure lookin' forward to an evening of fresh zap apple jam." said Applejack.

"Well girls, how about we all go to Sugarcube Corner for a cup of tea before we all call it a night?" asked Fluttershy.

"Yeah, I'll make scones, blueberry ones." said Pinkie Pie.

Twilight giggled along with Rarity, "All right it's settled, one cup of tea and scones for all of us for putting in a hard day's work." she said, they soon turned their attention towards the door, however, as Twilight lit up her horn to wrap the doorknob in her aura, it was a sudden shock of expression to see that the door had just flung open instead and there stood Spike hyperventilating and panicking and bloodshot eyes over what had just happened to Nathan.

"Spike, are you okay?" Twilight asked concerned.

Spike ran into the boutique shaking and now sweating in fear.

"Darling, what's wrong?" asked Rarity.

"Nathan......Power Ponies........zap......gone....GONE..........GGGGGGOOOOOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!" he screamed, he then collapsed to the floor and started having a panic attack while whimpering.

"Hey, Hey, sugarcube, take it easy!" Applejack said running up to him.

"Spike, calm down!" Twilight said, but Spike's panic attack started growing to the brig, so Twilight did what she did best to him whenever he was scared over something, she wrapped him up in her magical aura and brought him over to her.

"Spike, shh, Spike, calm down, shhhhh, it's okay." Twilight said in a soothing tone, with her cure from his near craziness a huge success, Spike soon went from panicking to now crying.

"Spike, tell us what happened." Fluttershy said.

Spike sniffled, "You might not believe what I'm about to say.........Nathan's been kidnapped!"

The Mane six gasped in shock.

"What you mean 'kidnapped'?" Rainbow Dash asked.

"He's been taken, and I don't know what to do, I tried saving him, but the vortex was...."

"What vortex, what are you talking about?" Twilight asked.

"The vortex that sucked him in."

"Sucked him into what?" Pinkie Pie asked, Spike just rested his head on Twilight's chest speechless and saddened with tears still going down his eyes, Twilight tightened her grasp on him, Twilight soon got serious.

"Spike....who's taken him?"

Spike managed to dry his eyes with a tissue that Rarity had levitated over to him as she rubbed his cute little head.

"Well let me put it in this way, remember when we were at The Castle of the Two Sisters tidying up the throne room and I brought that Power Ponies comic to read while you all cleaned?"

"Yes." Rainbow Dash said while puzzled.

"Well do you also remember when we all got zapped into the comic and I became Humdrum when you all became the Power Ponies, and how the Mane-iac and her henchmen managed to freeze you with Hairspray Ray of Doom, but yet we defeated her anyway?"

"Yes, but why are you brining this up?" Twilight asked.

"Well, I think she's found a way to get in contact with the real world here in Equestria, I don't know how, but she has. Because I was cleaning the library up in the castle sorting some books and dusting the shelves when he came in with one Power Pony comic that wasn't even bought by me, nor did I even remember buying it. Nathan was bragging over how cool it was, but somehow I got a feeling that what happened to us with those comics would happen to him too, so I warned him several times to put it up but he wouldn't listen to me."

"I then heard Mane-iac laughing from inside the comic and then this huge vortex took form, so we tried escaping, but it managed to grasp onto Nathan and pull him in, and like I said, I tried saving him, but...but...but....it pulled him away from me and sucked him right in, what am I going to do?!" he asked with tears forming again.

"Spike, take us back to the castle, show us the comic he was taken into." Twilight suggested, Spike did what she said, got back up on his feet and motioned for them to follow him.

Back at the castle, Spike had reached the doors that opened into the library and had saw that the comic was still on the floor, so he picked it up and showed them the section of the comic that he was zapped into. But as Twilight flipped through the pages, she could find no signs of Nathan in the pages anywhere, she and the others soon lost their belief in his story and quickly jumped to conclusions.

"Oh, Spike, you've sure got some imagination, this comic looks fine to me." she said.

"Twilight, I'm not..."

"And the pages are soft and touchable." Pinkie Pie said.

"Darling, I'm sure Nathan just went to the restroom or someplace." Rarity said stroking his head.

"Honest, it really..."

"Come on Spike, no more false alarms." Rainbow Dash said.

"But...."

Applejack gave a low groan in annoyance thinking he dragged them here for nothing, "Come on y'all, let's go get our tea and scones." she said walking out the doors with the others, Twilight as well, but not before turning back to Spike.

"And Spike, finish cleaning these shelves, they're still messy." she said, walking out with the others and closing the doors behind her, Spike groaned angrily and threw a flower vase at the door.

"You idiots, how can you not believe me!!!???" he asked angrily, just as he stormed backwards.

Meanwhile out in the hallway, the mane six were walking through the hallways back out towards the direction where the entrance to the castle stood because they were in a hurry to get their tea and scones and Luna was on verge of raising the moon any hour now. As they walked, they soon made a mockery out of Spike since they thought he was overreacting to something and they figured that Nathan was just messing around somewhere.

Twilight soon saw the door that led to the bathroom come into view, so she walked over to it and knocked on it, hoping Nathan would answer, but there was no sound at all.

"Nathan, huh, that's weird?" she said.

"Well, did you try Spike's bedroom, because you did tell us that he's sharing it with Spike." Fluttershy said.

"No, I didn't, come on girls, let's go and check there." Twilight said, so they dashed for the bedroom and quickly saw that he wasn't in there either, Twilight was now starting to get worried.

"Nathan, where are you?" she called out through the entire castle, but still no response.

"Twilight, take a breather, I'm sure he's around here somewhere." said Rainbow Dash trying her best to keep Twilight at bay, but it soon went from bad to worse, because suddenly, the ground around them started shaking in the same way it was before Nathan was sucked into the comic book.

"EARTHQUAKE!!!!!!" Pinkie Pie screamed.

"Wait a minute!" Twilight exclaimed, she soon walked back to the direction at the two doors that opened up into the library and saw a flash of white light glowing underneath.

"TWILIGHT!!!!!!!!" Screamed Spike's voice from inside, Twilight blasted the doors open and ran back inside with her friends on her tail, they started looking to find where this white light flash was coming from, to their surprise, it was coming from the comic book itself, the one that Spike showed them where Nathan was taken into. However, instead of zapping them back in, out popped a 3d virtual screen and on came the face of the Mane-iac with her typical evil grin.

She chuckled wickedly, "Poor Spikey there tried to tell you, and he was right all along, I do have you human boy!" she then held up Nathan who was coiled in some of her mane."

Twilight gasped in horror, "Nathan!"

"Aunt Twilight, Spike, gals, he-bwfff." he was soon silenced by another part of her mane and then taken off screen.

Twilight and her friends, along with Spike stared at her in anger.

"And just what are you planning on doing with him, how did you even find your way to communicate with real life?!" Rainbow Dash asked.

"That first part, I'll never explain, but the second part you'll soon figure out, with this boy as my prisoner, there shall be no one to stop me, so let's just see this time who wins and who loses, tootles!" she then cackled and the screen dissipated.

**NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"* Nathan screamed as he vanished back into the comic book.*

Twilight and her friends just stood there frozen in terror, how could they possible not have believed Spike, Twilight soon felt a kick on her left forehoof.

"Ow, Spike, what was that for?!" she exclaimed.

"Oh, Spike, you sure got some imagination!" he said in a mocking tone, "Well look who's wrong this time?!"

"Okay, okay, Spike, you were right!" Twilight said feeling hung over for not believing him earlier.

"What are we going to do?" Rainbow Dash asked in horror.

"If that no good hairstylin' creep puts one hoof on mah' Nathan, she is goin' to be in deep fudge!" said Applejack.

"All right girls, let's not just sit here and panic, we need to come up with a strategy first." Twilight said.

"Spike, first I need you to write Celestia and Luna about this."

"Yes, Twilight." he said, pulling out a quill pen and a scroll paper.

"In the meantime girls, we need to find a way into that comic book." Twilight said.

"Oh, yeah, sure egghead, what are we going to do, wait for the light again?!" Rainbow Dash asked, "It didn't even suck us in that time!!!"

"No, ah'll tell ya' what we're gonna do, we're going to find a way into that comic book, and if we can also find a way for Celestia and Luna to believe us, they'll be comin' as well. Then we're gonna defeat that deranged pony for good and save Nathan!" Applejack.

"Come on girls let's go and get our strategy planned, Spike, come along too, we're going to need your help because you know these things more than us."

"Yes ma'am!" Spike said following the others out into the throne room, but before Twilight could depart with them she ran back and looked down at the comic, for she knew and could feel that her nephew would hear her.

"Hang in there Nathan, we will come for you, we promise!" she said running out the doors and closing them.
