An old earth pony sits and looks down at the world as it is from a shattered building and remembers what it once was. His purple fur, dimmed from his troubles and age, his for hooves scared with gold and blue lines to remember his father by, and he cries.
"Grandpa why are you crying?" I asked with big eyes
He looks over and pushes his blue-grey hair out of his eyes. "It's nothing Shiney" Grandpa Vibrance responses "now come over here I want to tell you a story before I leave today"
I walk to grandpa, I always did enjoy his stories of how the world was, he has an excellent memory, in fact most of what he told me was before he was even one year old, "what do you mean your leaving today grandpa, your to old to work?"
He looks at my eyes "someday you will know, but not yet, let me tell you the story of how the sky fell"
It was a beautiful winter day almost a month after my birthday when it started… the snow was falling and my father was teaching me how to sled. "Make sure you hang on tight and have fun!" My father was a great pony, he was, at the time, a turquoise unicorn with red and blue poofy hair, he had blue eyes and a long fluffy red tail. He pushed my sled down a long slop, although thinking back it was probably a small hill.
I laughed on my way down and I was happy, life was excellent and great. Then suddenly, my sled hit a rock and I went flying off and hit the ground cutting self a little and of course being a little over a year old, I cried.
My father ran to me and checked my injuries. It wasn't a big cut, but he knew I would not atop crying until it was patched up. "Don't worry Silent it will be fine" he said to me as he put his hoove to the wound and his horn glowed as I saw a little whisp of some blue sandy stuff swirl around my wound, and suddenly It was gone.
I smiled and huged my dad I loved him so much. Then I let go of his hug, not knowing that that would be one of my last time touching him and made a snow angle. While making the angle I heard a cracking sound like alot of ice melting at once. Being winter this did not surprise me but something made my father stand up. My mother, a white fured, blue green short haired mare with a tail similar to my father's, flew over and landed besides my father.
My father looked up and sighed, then I thought I heard him mumble "here we go again" as the wind picked up. I looked up to where my dad was looking to see a huge gash cut through the clouds and thousands of pegesi raining out from it.
I got up and my father turned to say something to me. "Silent I ne.e..." He was cut short by a blade lodged in his stomic. He fell over loosing blood horribly quickly behind him was a white pegasus in raggedy cloths.
"Silent I need you to run back home and don't look back" my mom said to me "and tell Skyla to put the house into lock down she will know how to do it"
Yes Skyra... sometimes it felt like Skyra was the only one who understands me, she being my older sister. It's funny everyone including me was never able to figure out if it was Skyla or Skyra. Not even my parents really know, so we just used both
I did what I was told and turned and ran as fast as I could, I knew couldn't look back. The wind was fighting against me sending particles of snow into my face slowing me down drastically. Someone pushed me from behind and I fell down, I look behind me to see a pegasus in a beat up coat pushing me with a make shift looking stone spear in his other arm.
He went in for the killing blow but was cut short by a blue laser in his head from an unknown force behind me.
"You might want to get up and tell me that I'm supposed to initiate lock down Silence." And of course it was Skyla in the nick of time with her purple and blue hair blowing in the wind of the storm.
"How did you know that?" I measly asked Skyla, she always seemed to know these things by piecing small clues together that no one ever seems
"Well, it's Armageddon out here and I am pretty sure a gold dust nuke is going of in 3..2..1.." A large explosion of gold dust my dad used to use to manipulate and repair objects goes off in the distance "and we might want to be getting home, I have already gotten everyo...pony inside, here take my hoove" Skyla says
I grab onto her hoove and the next thing I know we are back in our house. "Ok everypony" Skyla says in a loud voice "we are going into a hard deadlock lock down, that means everypony move to the center, most secure room of our house and I will go around deadlock sealing all these window's, while the walls of our house is strong they are not invulnerable, so if you here any pony trying to break in through the walls tell me and I will move it to level two, any questions?"
Winter my brother who was eight, raised his hoove "in English?"
Skyla rolls her eyes "you goto the bunker, I go lock window's and doors"
We all let out a combined "ohhh" as we walked to the bunker and behind me Skyla started locking everything down with her magic tool.
As we walked to the bunker the five of us < which if you don't remember from past story's their names were: Rainy, Shining; the pony you were named after, Boken, and of corse Winter> talked about what was happening. Sense I was only one at the time I didn't do to much talking, even so I would have been way to traumatized at what I just saw happen to my father.
"So then, pegisie are raining from the sky. Why do you think it's happening?" My other brother Boken wondered out loud.
"I think they just think their better, but I'm sure mom could take care of them I have see her do amazing things" Winter says as he went up to the hidden vault door and used his grey wings to open the vault.
The vault opened up and there was a concrete room with a large stair case revealed that seemed to go down forever into the depths of the earth.
"Why the stairs.." rainy mumbled as we made out way down the seemingly endless stairs.
When we finally re..
There is a knock at the door and Grampa gets up and says to me "Shiney, I have to go now, I'm sorry I can't finish the story I'll tell you the rest when I see you again"
I start to cry and grandpa hugs me " when will I see you again grandpa?"
"I'm sorry but not for years and years" Grandpa Vibrence let go of me and remembering what he just told me about how he last touched his father, it felt alot like that. Like I was never going to see him again.
He walks to the door and opens it, two Pegasus guards are standing out side "so I guess it's my time isn't it?"
"Oh so your Silence the saviour hm? You more look like an old coot who just want attention and is wasting our time" The one on the left says "and you know what we do with ponies who waist our time right jelly?"
The Pegasus on the right nods and spears Grampa vibrence right through the stomach.
Grandpa laughs a little and mumbles something that sounded like "fitting" and then collapses on the ground.
"NO" I shout shooting forwards sending a guard spiraling onto the ground
"Looks like we have a kid who thinks he's though well…" the other guard says and I start to run out of fear for my life. The guard clumsily knocks over objects that were scattered along the small hall way that is in our small house.
But all hall ways end and our house only had one exit and entrance so I try to make for the kitchen, but the guard catches me with a slash to my leg making me trip and tumble unto a cabinet making some of the objects on it fall, I hear glass shatter and I look over to see a picture of my father and mother, the horable sense comes to me that I am about to die.
There is a cut on my leg from the slash from the guard and I start to bleed. "Well it looks like the end of the line for you, but hey at least now you are your grandpa will have something in common" the guard says as he starts to swing his sword at me.
I reach around for anything I could grab and my hoove falls upon a hilt of something, I throw it at him and I hear a screech of pain.
"How... where... I'll get you for that" the guard says as I notice he now has a rear leg missing he brings down sword and I close my eyes waiting for my impending doom
I hear a thump and then I feel nothing.
Am I... am I dead? I think to my self
"Shiney are you ok?" I hear a young voice say, it sounded familiar, so I opened my eyes to see a familiar looking young light purple earth pony with blue hair
"Who are you?" I ask weekly
He laughs "you can't tell me you forgot your own grandpa, here let me fix that cut up" he uses a vile of a blue substance on my leg and it instantly heals it.
"How..." My words stumble out of my mouth, so much has just happened. I look over at the guard that was attacking me, he is now laying on the ground being held down by a glowing light around all his hooves.
"Sorry Shiney I don't have time to explain, get on my back and I will take us to some place safe where I can finish my story." Vibrance said "then all will be clear"
He couches down and I climb onto his back. I hear a hissing noise and I look around I see some more of that blue stuff around use, it swarms around me and Vibrance like a tornado.
When it finally died down I looked around, nothing had changed. But then we start leaving the ground. "Gotta love that dust" grandpa Vibrance says "manipulating and healing."
He has blue wings now shimmering with this blue dust, they are truly beautiful. "Are you ready Shiney, hold on tight!"
He starts to fly and I say good bye to the home and the world to I once belonged.

This is just a side project I'm working on while copper finishes editing reincarnation so I can write the next chapter with him, I hope you have fun reading this! Also, my ego while writing this grew ten fold, also... dang it I pressed my own like button... Why do I keep doing that! Also, boken is in this story reference, not the same boken from reincarnation. Also the whole Pegasus thing WILL BE REVEILD LATER in just working on less direct writing
