I have orders, I am moving to the front where the griffins are spearheading their attack. Sorry for not replying for a long time, the orders had us moving out from the base with almost no stopping, I finally got the chance to do so now. As I am writing this letter the rest of us are preparing to move out once again.

I promise that I will return home one day. I will never break that. We have reached the defense lines. The lines are trenches stretching for miles across the landscape. Ahead, toward the griffin's lines, lie Nopony's land. A burned landscape full of dead trees and holes in the ground. The smell of death reeks here as I lie in the trench writing this. Oh, and Marrow says 'hi' back and wishes you well. So much has happened since the morning I left you. I miss you deeply and want to return now, but, my duty keeps me from doing so. I can't wait ether! Like I said I want to see you so bad and meet Dawn myself. We have been sitting here in the trenches for days on end as the griffins pound us with artillery fire, forcing us into our underground bunkers like right now. Our officers are planing an attack soon, not sure when it will happen.

Oh, be careful please. I don't want you to die. Also, when I went to the spa with my friends, we saw some guards chilling in the hot tub. It was so funny it started hurting, we laughed so hard and fell to the floor as they looked at us embarrassed. Soon, the others started to join in on the laughter. It was such a great time. I think even Dawn was laughing as well. I hope this war ends soon.
