Chapter 1: War Changes Worlds
During the Great War of Equestria, each half of Equestria sought to kill the other with there own bare hooves. It was an event of horror, catapults launched flaming, sharpened logs in the air, eventually crashing into the ground. At least 12 fillys were killed by every footstep a pony took. War was due to a supposedly known "Queen Decay" who claimed to be the creator of Equestria and tried to take it along with innocent lives. Some ponies were terrified of being slain and joined the queens side. Now ponies jumped from cliffs and sliced others with swords and other weapons held by a contraption called "The Gripponator" made by Twilight Sparkle. Fresh blood covered the battlefield, and the youngest of fillys and colts were drafted into action. Twilight, picking up a whole catapult 50 feet in the air with her magic, flung it at the minions of Queen Decay, crushing their entire bodies. Twilight was pregnant at the time and was supposedly going into labor at some time of the month. Sadly it had to be when she was fighting against the minions of the awful queen. Twilight's horn glowed and unearthed giant pieces of corpse covered land with her magic and shot multiple of them at the opposing enemies. Some were crushed, and some dodged luckily. Shining Armor-Twilights brother-lifted his great sword mid-way in the air and sliced in half the surviving attackers.
Twilight thanked her brother for saving her life. She then continued to trample over rotting bodies until feeling a quite unfamiliar urge in her stomach. She moaned from all the pain, she would soon go into labor. Shining Armor tossed Twilight on his back and galloped to a barely standing hut. Shining called for help, but only one injured guard came to protect Twilight whilst delivering.
The brave fighter screamed "Come at me!" Then took his dagger and swung it, slicing open an evil minions neck. Twilight pushed and pushed but there was no luck. Shining Armor shaking with panic and adrenaline, picked up his great sword and gently sliced open Twilights stomach to get the adorable baby colt out. The guard protecting Twilight, killed at least two more with his trusty dagger and was then put down by an arrow in between the eyes. Shining Armor whistled, calling a carriage of two muscular ox and put Twilight, the colt, and himself on the worn leather seats of the transportation vehicle. The carriage driving through rocky, jagged rocks, Shining Armor put his hoof on Twilights head while wailing her name.
Her blood dripped on the Carriage flooring, it was a matter of time before she was dead. Before her soul left her body, she mumbled these exact same words "Take... Good.. Care of him." and then spurted out blood from her lifeless mouth. Queen Decay's minions attacked the carriage with throwing knives to the wheels, but they were to late.
Soldiers fighting for Celestia shot arrows at the heads of the evil fighters. Tears rained down from Shining Armors eyes and he sorely said "I remember the times.. When we would play as both filly and colt, and the times when we were both alive.." The last letter he pronounced made his tears burst out screaming as loud as he ever could. As the others were fighting for Equestria, Shining Armor and Twilights baby colt were heading to the Safe Haven.
The wheels of the carriage barely made it back to the Safe Haven. Ponies, colts, and fillys glared at Shining Armor carrying the baby . Even miles away from the fighting, he could still hear swords clashing and blood splattering. While covered in blood, Shining Armor made his way into Celestia's palace.
He then spoke "Someone must take care of this newborn, I am incapable of care taking. I must serve on the battlefield!"
Princess Celestia responded "I don't think much ponies can adopt such a colt as of now, maybe Apple Jack can raise this young fellow."
Shining Armor said back at Celestia "... That's impossible! Remember, Apple Jack still has her little grudge against Twilight and will most likely starve this baby! By the way, make this quick I'm injured and I cant talk much anymore."
Grinning, Apple Jack trotted confidently to the throne of Princess Celestia out of nowhere and tried to persuade Shining Armor by saying the following "I'll take excellent care of this baby, I'll raise him better than Twilight was!"
Angered, Shining Armor screamed "You bitch!...You know Twilight died.", Shining Armor told Apple Jack whilst a tear running down his face. Princess Celestia was shocked after hearing about Twilight's departure, she had trouble holding back her own tears.
Apple Jack laughed at Shining and uttered "What a nice way to greet the new mother of this newborn child!"
Princess Celestia then agreed with Apple Jack saying "I think Apple Jack is right, options are scarce as of now, and if I were you, I'd rather take it than leave it!"
"Fine!.." Shining Armor put into words, trying to hide his disagreement. He then slogged over to Apple Jack and handed her the adorable miracle. With his last few words to say before fainting from exhaustion, he whispered to Apple Jack "If I find out that you are mistreating this baby, I will spill your guts on your own house floor!.. Got that!" He then passed out on the ground, his heavy body impacting against the golden floor. Princess Celestia called the medical crew to put his half dead body on a stretcher. She then ordered them to bring Shining Armor to a recovery center in the Safe Haven. Shining Armor's wounds were then wrapped in the finest linen cloth and he was given treatment and blood berries for blood recovery.
While Shining was recovering, Apple Jack was feeding Twilights baby a tall bottle of milk. She muttered to the baby "I think Ima call you Dynamite!" Setting his baby bum on a stack of hay. Apple Jack then darted to her stove, afraid of burning the apple pie. She opened up her stove, releasing fresh apple aroma. Then thought to herself "Your gonna go far... Dynamite.."
Chapter 2: Five Years After The Birth
Five years have passed, Dynamite is now five years old. He attends school at the Ponyville Schoolhouse which is located in the Safe Haven. Ponyville was located inside the Safe Haven with other cities and towns. Dynamite, pushed aside his smooth silk blanket aside from him and got off his hay stack he called a "bed". He lingered slowly to the sink, in fear he would wake up Apple Jack. He grabbed his cockatrice feathered toothbrush with both his hooves and mopped thoroughly, left and right, down and up on his almost white teeth.
The youngling forgot to put toothpaste on the toothbrush, he then laughed and thought to himself "Wow, no point in brushing again, I'll be late for school! First time I've ever done that!" Dynamite bolted to his calendar, glimpsing at what was for lunch at school. Mondays lunch consisted of nacho cheese or crispy chicken fingers with oats. He whispered, facing the calendar, saying "I'm totally getting chicken fingers with oats!" After checking out the calendar, he quietly made his way into Apple Jacks bedroom. He kissed Apple Jack on the cheek and said "Bye Jackie!" Apple Jack sneakily pushed upward from her haystack bed till she was in a sitting position.
She then smiled, and responded "Study hard!" Dynamite looked one last time at Apple Jack then charged out the door in fear of being late for school. While Dynamite scampered, many ponies of the Safe Haven asked him if he was okay along the way to school. Dynamite made it before the late bell rang. He went to his desk where he saw a cracked chalkboard, pencils all over the floor, and his best friend, Casper sitting to the left of him. Dynamite looked confused at Casper.
Dynamite asked Casper "Why are you laughing so much?"
Casper told Dynamite while trying to fight off his laughter "I just heard an awesome joke! Wanna hear it?"
Dynamite said back excitedly "Yes, please!"
Casper than told the joke "Okay what did the pony say while trying to fix his guitar? Ugh dis cord!"
Dynamite bursted out laughing in tears, to bad the teachers got back from the parent meeting. The three teachers entered the classroom, there names were Apple Bloom, Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle.
Apple Bloom said with toughness "We are your teachers, we were known as the Cutie Mark Crusaders but no longer, we are here to help you find your cutie mark and to learn basic stuff like mathematics and language arts!" After hours of learning, Dynamite and the others had to answer basic stuff like where do question marks go, and what 9+10 is. Then, the ambush happened! Shurikens rained through the windows of the school.
Sweetie Belle screamed "Get down!" The fillys and colts went under the desk, while Scootaloo screamed for help, the guards trotted to the school to meet the minions of Queen Decay. They had broke into the Safe Haven somehow and wanted to use the kids for hostages. They jumped and grabbed Casper, pointing a sharpened knife to his neck. An admiral of the Safe Haven named Kaiyu released a 5 pound smoke bomb into the air, confusing the minions. Kaiyu appeared behind the minion threatening Caspers life and then grabbed his neck with his hooves and broke his neck. Casper ran towards Dynamite in fear of his life, both friends could barely see anything due to the smoke. Screams could be heard, blood splattered all over desks, admiral Kaiyu was slaying all the enemies until being stabbed by a machete. Kaiyu couldn't tell who had stabbed him, he just accepted death like nothing. Remained 2 more minions that glanced at Dynamite, they had planned to take him hostage now!
To bad because they underestimated Dynamite, the evil man tried to grab Dynamite but the colt retaliated. Dynamite screamed "Get off me!" While the killer was trying to hold Dynamite down, the other attacker readied his spiked mace, preparing to swing it at Dynamite. Dynamite launched his right hoof into the man trying to hold him down, shattering his entire chest. The murderer was on the ground unable to get up, while blood erupted out of his mouth, he was close to death! The minion with the spiked mace swung it at Dynamite, only for it to be caught by Dynamites hoof, Dynamite swung it back, smashing the Decays face! The man had died from all the impact on his head.
The three teachers said all at once "Such power!" All of the fillys and colts were frightened, they didn't know either to be scared of the evil Decays or Dynamites immense power!
Dynamite had his hooves all bloody, while crying in shame of what he did, he asked Sweetie Belle "Who are those ponies?"
Sweetie Belle replied "These men also known as the "Decays", that just attacked work for Queen Decay, she is the one trying to take over Equestria!" Meanwhile, guards ran to the door of Apple Jack and knocked loudly to get her attention quickly. The guards then informed her about the attacking. After the explanation, Apple Jack had galloped as fast as she ever could to see if Dynamite was alright, the closer she came, the more she could hear the colts and fillys sobbing. She got to the crime scene to see the two dead bodies of Dynamites victims.
Apple Jack jumped towards Dynamite and asked "Are you okay? Did you fight back?"
Dynamite told Apple Jack "I'm alright Jackie! And yes I was forced to fight back, I only attacked two of the Decays!" Apple Jack could see the trauma in Dynamites eyes, she figured if she talked about the ambush more, he would be more traumatized.
She said to Dynamite "Lets get going! I must say though, the training you've been going through has paid off, you have a lot of strength to even fight off newbie Decays also known as maggots! And lets not forget, your five years old!"
Dynamite responded to Apple Jack whilst sniffing "Wait, newbie Decays are known as Maggots?"
Apple Jack positively said "Decays are Decays, but there are stages for them, and Maggots are the lowest it goes!" Apple Jack then picked Dynamite up by both her hooves and tossed him on her back. They both then headed for Sweet Apple Acres!
When they both arrived at home, Apple Jack opened up the wooden mailbox to see a letter explaining the following "School is closed for the week due to an attack from the Decays, upcoming updates to inform us all soon."
Apple Jack then slogged into her house where she saw Dynamite resting on a hay couch, she said to him "Your strong, but we must train to make you stronger.." Meanwhile, Princess Celestia was remembering how Twilight had died. Celestia day dreamed on and wished how Twilight was here again. Celestia remembered how brave Princess Twilight was, and how she was the only princess that volunteered to fight the Great War of Equestria. Celestia was very stressed out, she was on the verge of hanging herself, she couldn't take all the stress from the war. Where her royal violet red bed stood, there was bottles of broken Vodka.
Celestia whispered "Die..", while looking at a hallucination which seemed to be a giant Black Widow spider. She screamed "You'll sometimes notice shadows late at night. Don't worry. It's only me... Bonding." As soon as Princess Luna-Celestia's sister- heard that shout, she darted to the golden door. She tried turning the knob but the door was locked shut, Luna then began to smash the door real hard with her hooves. Celestia equipped her Gripponator then reached for her carving knife and put it above her eye ready to kill herself. Luna then used her magic to picklock the door open where she glanced at Celestia moving the carving knife closer and closer to her eye. Luna leaped at Celestia and knocked the knife out of her hoof.
Luna then yelled "Shit! Are you okay!?"
Celestia then shrieked "Equestia is Hell! I cant take it anymore!"
Luna than tried to calm Celestia down saying "Don't worry, we're gonna beat this together, sister and sister!"
