"So, um, it wouldn't be too much trouble then?" Fluttershy asked softly, handing a small list of items to an exited pink pony.
"Of course not, I'd love to do a party, no matter who it's for. Besides, I've always wanted to bake some treats for your animal friends. Ooh, speaking of animals, have you seen Vevalon? I heard she's really sick and I want to cheer her up by letting her come over to mine." Pinkie said, leaping up and down with the note tucked behind her ear. An evil grin formed on her face as she planned the decorations and food. Surely a pack of wolves would be easy to cater for, she just needed 'special' cupcakes and something to do with cats, balloons were always a hit with critters so that was an obvious choice.
"She was just outside the Everfree Forest, and she looked perfectly fine to me." the pegasus whispered, a slightly suspicious glare forming on her face when she realised that animals can often be sick and look healthy, especially when close to death. After the bug that had just gone around Ponyville, she wasn't surprised that the little chimera might've caught it. Just before she could ask Pinkie about the illness her beloved cat might have been cursed with, the hyperactive mare ran off into the distance.
Quiet snoring could be heard among the treetops, leaves rustling and blowing gently in the wind. Pinkie trotted up to a large oak, as it was the one where the soft murmurs could be heard best. Small, round hooves rammed against it, causing the tree to shudder and a large object to fall with a screech.
"Pinkie... What was that for?" A small voice groaned as a paw ran over the bump on her head. She stood up, crawling out of the small bush she landed in before shaking off all the leaves and twigs with a confused look mixed with a playful smile.

"So what was this 'dire emergency' that I need to help you with?" Vevalon questioned, her ears flopping as her head tilted left.
"I need you to try this cupcake, Fluttershy is having a party with some wolves and I need to know if this tastes good enough for a carnivore. It has some fish in it." Pinkie said, sounding unnaturally fearful. There was something off with the way she was shoving a meat-filled cupcake into her friends face when there could be regular food, Vern doubted that wolves only ate meat she had seen many eat berries and nuts. She gently picked it up from the female's hoof and bit into it. A smile formed into a dreamy smirk as Pinkie asked her
"So... How was it?" The answer was a couple of mumbles and inaudible words before Vevalon started to sag, her legs wobbled and she collapsed, the room spinning and fading in and out of vision. She looked up to see a grinning pink blob as everything around her constantly changed colours, flashing white, black, pink, blue, green and more until her eyes closed and she was slumped in an uncomfortable position on the floor.

"Finally, you're awake!" a familiarly chirpy voice echoed from somewhere in the dark room.

"We're making cupcakes! That's what's going on you silly kitty, and it's obvious you cannot move, you saw the leather straps." a switch could be heard as a light flickered on. Pinkie stepped out of the shadows with a tray covered with a blood-stained cloth, a soft clicking sound as unicorn horns rammed into one another, flapping sounds from the wings and a cringe-worthy squeaking from the wheels. Vern reeled in horror when she saw a familiar sky-blue pair of wings on the pink pony's back.
"You- lied to me! You said you were looking for Dash when YOU had killed her!" the feline screamed, unsheathing her claws in frustration, realising that one of her best friends was dead.

A loud clink sound could be heard as a bigger lever was pulled, small beams of light fading into action. The mare stood back, letting her guest observe her accommodations, her grin getting bigger with every horrified face she was shown. Floating entrails, painted skulls, bone furniture and blood all over the floor, it was too much until she saw a rainbow. "It was a real shame Vevalon wasn't alive to see this, they would've gotten along so well." the cream mare whispered, looking into the sky as Pinkie wrapped her hoof around her.
"I'm sure she died peacefully and happily." Pinkie muttered, smirking slightly.
