Tome of the Searching Flame

Dakota, Leara, and Sweetie decided to take a breather from the craziness.

“So Leara where are you from?” Sweetie asked. Leara sat and thought she had no idea where she was created.

“I don’t know I was created not born.” Leara answered.

“Well I know where you were Leara. You were created on the lovely planet Venus.” Dakota said. Leara smiled, of course he knew and of course of all the planets the Master set up shop it was the beautiful planet Venus.

“Wow so cool so where do Timelords live in general?” Sweetie asked.

“Timelords are from the planet Gallifrey.” Leara responded.

“So Dakota how come you’re so smart, and how’d you get that smart?” Sweetie asked.

“I’m this intelligent because I am an A.I., or Artificial Intelligent.” Dakota answered.

“So you’re like a robot or something?” Sweetie asked. Dakota nodded.

“Yeah, I’m something around that line.” He said. Sweetie and Dakota talked for a while. Leara started to relax and Dakota tapped Leara’s shoulder. Leara was startled.

“Hey you okay? You look tired you should rest.” Sweetie offered. Leara smiled.

“Timelords hardly or don’t even sleep, we don’t need it.” Leara said.

“Well maybe you need to go somewhere quiet.” Sweetie answered. Leara thought.

“Okay if you think it’ll help.” Leara said. Leara walked to her room and lay down on the bed. For the first time she actually slept. She dreamed of happy ponies and Timelords together until a darkness loomed over and they immediately hated one another and turned on her. When she awoke Sweetie and Dakota were over her full of worry.

“Are you okay? We were worried!” Sweetie yelled. Leara was woozy, but she was able to say some words.

“I need water.” Leara requested.

“I’ll go get it.” Dakota said flying out of the room. Sweetie examined and checked Leara.

“What was your dream?” Sweetie asked. Leara told her about the dream.

“Don’t worry Leara I…We won’t let that happen.” Sweetie said. Leara’s eyes glowed with hope.
