Tome of the Searching Flame

When Leara, Sweetie, and Dakota exited the TARDIS, Canterlot was worse than Ponyville. Withered, starving, dying, and/or dead ponies lined the streets. The trio was mortified.

“I knew Canterlot was bad, but I had no idea it was like this.” Sweetie said in shock. It was hard for all of them to walk through this mess and not try to help.

“We can help them by fixing this whole thing.” Sweetie said. Leara nodded and though it was hard they had to get to the Royal Palace. They managed to get there, but there were two royal guardsmen. The trio attempted to enter.

“Halt no entry is permitted!” One guard yelled.

“We want to help so let us through!” Sweetie yelled. The guards looked at each other.

“Let them through!” A voice said. The guards backed off. Leara and the others went through. A purple alicorn paced the floor nervously.

“So is it only you three?” She asked. Leara nodded.

“I am Princess Twilight Sparkle. Welcome to Canterlot.” Twilight said.

“I am Leara. This is Sweetie and Dakota.” Leara said pointing to Sweetie and Dakota.

“A Timelord I knew it.” Twilight said in an agitated tone.

“Why do you sound so annoyed?” Dakota asked.

“Because it’s your fault we’re at war! Your kind pushed buttons that shouldn’t have been pushed! Now your kind wants to help again!” Twilight yelled. Leara was about to yell at Twilight to set the record straight, but then Sweetie put her hoof on Leara’s shoulder and shook her head. Leara sighed and started to walk off, but then she stopped and turned her head toward Twilight so their eyes met.

“And ponies call you the Princess of Friendship.” Leara said. Then she turned and walked of and also said.

“It’s not my kingdom that’s dying.” Leara said still walking. The doors shut behind Leara.

“What disrespect we can prove to her we can help by finding a princess.” Dakota said confidently. Leara and Sweetie nodded.

“We should split up and meet up in the center of town.” Sweetie suggested.

“Great idea Sweetie, alright everyone, let’s find ourselves a princess!” Leara said confidently. The trio ran in different directions and this will be an interesting find.
