The Gamer

I couldn't beleive my eyes at what I was seeing. Why me of all people! My name is james and just today the day before valentine's day I turned 21 years old and floating before me was a holographic screen with text in it that I have read about in fanfiction. A text box normally seen in the gamer stories. A series where a person's life gets turned into a video game. And it seems I just became one of the gamers in the multiverse. My luck must be going on the fritz because as awesome as the ability is it can be a curse. The text was actually a quest box asking me to practice swordsman ship since I owned a wooden sword.

Oh right what do I look like you ask? I'm a Dutch irish male with mixed brown/blonde/red hair with green eyes. My outfit consisted of a black shirt with the words video games or homework yep games win. A pair of camouflage pants and a alcatraz hoodie. I also had a blue and white jacket. Oh and I wore black framed glasses due to being able to see 30% out of one eye. And I already found a large difference from yesterday. I was lacking facial hair. I now looked like a anime character without facial hair and my hair was back to when I was ten years old so I now looked like a mix of Ben Tennyson and Harry potter just missing the scar. Again. Yeah I was shocked when I noticed the resemblance when I was ten and then saw the movies and characters.

Not seeing any harm I hit yes to the quest and my wooden sword appeared in my hand. It was a knight sword made of plywood with the handle wrapped in a slightly worn red cloth from age. Heading outside my house I practiced my swords skills having had now six years experience with this sword before I became a gamer so I wasn't surprised I quickly gained the skill slash, and now I'm looking at the reward I gained from completing the quest and I was wide eyed at seeing what it was.

The steering sword the blade used by kamen rider drive! It even came with a shift car which I noted was type protozero. Looked like I knew what my base abilities are going to be. And now I was curious as to my skills. Thankfully I remembered the process for the gamer ability from fanfiction so it wasn't a surprise I got the hang of it. What surprised me was my stats.

I was already level ten and I inwardly groaned at the Ben ten reference it implicated. My health was around 200 points and seemed I needed a quest to unlock magic. My Intel was quite high since I read a lot of books mainly fanfiction and goosebumps. My strength was slightly above average while my speed was just about twice as above that. Dex and agility were about the same level but in between them. Defense though was the weakest of my stats while my wisdom was as good as int. Looked like I was right about speed being my best trait.

Oh I just reached my skills ... what the hell I already got the creation skill! [Infinite Creation] Huh different from the mage king version. Oh that's interesting looks like I create soul bound items as long as I am familiar with the concepts to make them. In order to soul bound them they have to be used by a person first the only downside is I can't copy a soul connected to the item in question. That means I won't be able to use kamen rider ghost items as those have souls in them to be able to be used. The best I could make would be the ghost driver and a blank eyecon. Let's see oh seems I got the skill from my own imagination. Makes me wonder about how skills are gained for me.

Anyway I already got a idea on what I can use for this skill first. I created a drive driver and shift brace which I put on and seeing as I had entered a ID feild for the swordsman ship quest got to training. I now figured to make my own rider vehicle.

Basically I combined the tridoron with a motorcycle and created a motorcycle designed after the tridoron. The front wheels were close to each other same with the back with the silver ports for the tire changes drive can use. The tailfin of the red and black bike was the same as the tridoron car. I made it so that the vehicle had a cockpit so like tridoron it had the ability to have a type wild and type technique mode. It pretty much looked like a narrowed streamlined version of the tridoron and with the four tires so close like that it could balance without tipping over I already placed the steering sword into the storage compartment and practiced driving with shift protozero in a holder connected to the vehicle for shift cars.

Once done I placed the items back into my inventory where I found my practice blade. I was ready to go for anything. I ended the ID feild and so no one could think something was going to be off I created a black glove on my right hand. But it was what the glove can do that was special. For it had the ability to open rifts to worlds that I want to travel to. But I wasn't going to use my newly created [Rift Glove] just yet. I placed my yugioh collection and my laptop plus my various games and books into my inventory.  Basically I placed my stuff in my inventory so I could take them with me. Don't want to risk not being able to go back just in case. That was why I made the glove able to record the locations of the dimensions I was in so that with a thought I can return to visit.

I was going on a journey. As a security measure I dna locked the glove to me. Once I was sure no one could steal the glove I decided to head out to the multiverse. With my destination in mind I activated the glove and vanished. Watch out multiverse The Gamer is about to create a storm!
