Your 'Secret Admirer' Rainbow Dash
Dear Twilight,
Before I start, I’m gonna let you know that I’m putting my name in this letter; I don’t really get the idea of being mysterious when writing to somepony you like; it’s not really my thing. Plus I imagine you would be so curious about who wrote the letter, that you’d be all over town trying that pony. So just letting you know who this is will save us both a lot of trouble.
To get straight to the point, I love you Twilight.
The first thing you’re probably thinking in that cute little egghead of yours is how long? Really thinking back, I’d say when we first met. Back then, I thought you were this cute mare who was new to town. I didn’t think we would end up saving the world and becoming fast friends. But, I think my feelings for you changed when we started having our weekly reading sessions. I didn’t think reading with somepony would actually kind of nice; especially when reading Daring Do. During those sessions, I really started to see you in whole different way. Noticing how the dim light bounces of your coat to make shine, the way you chuckle when you would find a scientific-whatever and tell me about it. Heck, I never notice how pretty your eyes were until then. Then my feelings really grew after you got turned into an alicorn. As much as I don’t want to admit it, but when you got those wings, I felt like I wanted to kiss you right then and there.
You’re probably wondering ‘what does an amazing and awesome pony such as her sees in a bookworm princess such as me’? Well first off, you can pull of the whole beauty thing without even trying. You have don’t even have to put on makeup to make yourself look good; you pull of the whole natural look so well, that I bet it can challenge even Celestia’s beauty. Anypony would drop whatever their doing to just want to be with you. I admire your determination to perfect your magic. How you would never give on trying to get better at your magic, and even when you succeed; you take it one step further and improve that spell, literally making it your own. That is incredible, there is nopony else who can accomplish that sort of feat. Kind of like me and my stunts for the Wonderbolts. Now I don’t want to make this sound all mushy, but what makes me really attracted to you is you’re personally. You would try your best to help anypony to the best of your ability, no matter difficult the situation will. Remember when I was helping you fly; I said to you that ‘no matter how high you fall, I’ll will always be there to catch you’. Well, more than on occasion, you did the same for me, even when I gave you a hard time, you were still there to catch me.
I really hope I got my point out, I’ve never done this before. I don’t know if your attracted to mares, but would you please think this over. I’ll be waiting by the lake outside of ponyville until sundown. I’ll be waiting for your answer Twi, but if you decide not to come; that’s ok, I’d rather take rejection, than lose you as one of my best friends.

Twilight placed the letter back onto the table. She thought about what her friend wrote, then chuckled to herself.
‘Oh rainbow, you may not always express your emotions, but at least I know your heart is in the right place.’
“Spike, I’m going out for a while, I’ll probably be back late so don’t wait up!” Twilight yelled as she walked out of her study and headed towards the door of her castle’s entrance.
As Twilight walks down the path towards the lake, she notices the sun beginning to descend in the sky. “I better pick up the pace before rainbow leaves”, said Twilight as she begins to sprint.
Running over the last hill, Twilight finally was able to see the lake in sight, just as the sun gave off its last twinkling light. To her right, she spotted her rainbow-maned friend sitting next a tree, watching the sunset. Realizing she only had a few moments before it gets dark, twilight decided to fly the rest of the way to rainbow. ‘Should’ve just flew all the way to her in the first place’.
Rainbow was siting against the tree, watching the sun set over the hills in the distance. As the last glimpses of light were put out, rainbow knew it was time to go home. “I guest her answer is no then”, rainbow said disappointed. “I just hope we can still be friends”. As rainbow got up and was prepared to fly home, she heard behind her somepony calling her name in the distance, “Rainbow Dash wait!” She turns around to see Twilight Sparkle flying towards her. She watches as twilight comes in for a landing.
After Twilight compose herself after her landing, she looks up to see rainbow staring at her. After a few moments, rainbow spoke up. “Uh, hey twilight.”
“Hi rainbow”, Twilight replied. “Fancy meeting you here.”
“Yeah, I wrote we should meet here”, said rainbow dash.
“That you did”.
Both ponies stood awkwardly until twilight broke the silence. “So, I’ve been think about what you wrote in your letter.” Rainbow stood still in her place, mentally preparing for her friend’s answer.
“Its obvious you don’t fully express yourself in words, but I understand enough to know that your heart is in the right place. To be honest, I was a bit surprise how you didn’t want to be anonymous”, said twilight.
Rainbow rubs the back of her head, “yeah you know me, I like to get to get to the point of things”.
“That is true rainbow.” Twilight continued. “So, knowing you are inexperience in dating and I haven’t dated anypony either, I think we should both experiment in this field.”
Listening to what the purple alicorn said, rainbow dash asked, “Twilight, does that me…” only to be interrupted by twilight planting a quick kiss on her lips.
“Yes rainbow, my answer is yes.”
