One day when Twilight was working on a new spell, she vanished without a trace. After two months of searching she was reluctantly and sadly declared dead. Her friends and family mourned the loss of such a close and beloved companion as the rest of Equestria mourns the loss of their Princess.
However on the day of her funeral service, a bright light emerges and reveals none other than the young Alicorn herself, alive and well.

Her friends and family are overjoyed, though they are curious as to where Twilight's been, why she is much bigger than they last saw them, and why she is wearing a white robe, olive branches and golden shoes.

UPDATE: I have removed the gore tag for the reason that the objective of this story has changed. I had ideas for a battle premise, but I have decided on a better use of that concept. This story is now going to be about Twilight going through an intellectual, philosophical and emotional awakening. Hope you all aren't too disappointed as the battle idea is still on for a future story. Hope you all enjoy!
