Spike and the others were walking in the Everfree Forest towards the Castle of the Two Sisters. Each had looks of uncertainty on their face. This quest could potentially be their biggest and maybe their last. Spike remained silent. His thoughts were going a million miles an hour.

“Hey you ok?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“Yeah just thinking.” Spike replied

“What about?” Sweetie Belle asked.

“About Morgath.”
Sweetie Belle let out a sigh.

“I know he killed your father but he’s all you’ve been thinking about. Your not eating. You barely sleep!” Sweetie Belle exclaimed.

“I know but it’s hard not to think about him.” Spike replied. Sweetie Belle was about to retort when Spike saw the Castle.

“We have arrived.” Sure enough the Castle of the Two Sisters was directly ahead. Celestia was waiting patiently.

“I found the portal. It’s time.” Celestia said as she led the group through the dark corridors of the castle until finally they came into a chamber with a mirror.

“It’s just like the portal to the human world.” Sunset said.”

“Have you had any contact with any of them? I know you left Fluttershy your journal.” Blood said.

“She writes to me every morning. They found who Anon-a-miss really was turns out it was that worlds version of the Crusaders. They’ve been punished accordingly. As for the other girls..Fluttershy isn’t letting them use the journal nor is she really talking to them. She’s pretty much done with them at this point. And the poor girl still feels guilt over what happened and apologizes for it every time.” Sunset explained.

“Well next time you talk to her tell her that her kind of sort of brother says hi.” Blood replied. Sunset let out a small giggle.

“Alright who’s first?” Twilight asked.

“It should be me I know this world better then anyone in this room.” Celestia replied.

“Alright see you on the other side.” Twilight said as Celestia walked through the mirror. She was slowly followed by the rest of the group.

Spike emerged from the portal gasping for air. He checked to make sure his body hadn’t changed and sure enough it didn’t. He was still a dragon. The others had catch their breath before examining their surroundings. It looked like the Castle of the Two Sisters but even more of a ruin than it already was. Outside the Everfree Forest looked like a wasteland and far away in the distance they could just barely see the shimmering lights of Canterlot.

“Is that where we’re heading?” Spike asked.

“Yes. The ruler is an old friend. He’d be willing to help.” Celestia replied.

“He? You mean your not the ruler here? Than who is?” Twilight asked. Her question was answered almost immediately.

“Me.” A male voice rang out. Everyone turned around in shock to see a black male unicorn that looked all to familar.

“Princess Celestia.” King Sombra bowed

“King Sombra.” Celestia bowed back. Sombra was accompanied by a group of guards one of which included a black dragon with a green chest and green eyes.

The group with the exception of Sunset and Blood were recoiling in shock.

“I take this isn’t a social call.” Sombra said.

“Sadly no. A fugitive came through into your world and he’s incredibly dangerous...his out worlds version of Morgath.” Celestia explained.

The black dragon raised his head. Sombra turned towards him and gave a faint nod of the head.

“This right here is our worlds version of Morgath but we call him Sting.” Sombra said gesturing towards the dragon.

Sting kneeled before the Princess and the Assassins.

“I swear to you I will do all I can help you bring this monster to justice.” Sting said in an assertive tone.

“Your service will be greatly appreciated.” Celestia replied with a warm smile before Sting rose to his feet.

“Come I’ll give you shelter for the night.” Sombra said leading the entourage to his carriage unaware that they were being watched from the shadows.

Morgath was looking at Sting with hunger in his eyes.

“A perfect candidate.” Morgath said with malice.

Now I know what your thinking. “WHAT WE WAITED OVER A YEAR FOR YOUR NEXT CHAPTER AND ITS ONLY 700 WORDS?!” Look I’m sorry for the wait I know I suck writers block is a bitch. Also I felt like this was a good place to end the chapter. I promise you the wait for the next chapter won’t be NEARLY as long and it will be longer. I thank you for the patience
