Chapter 1
Rainbow Dash coughed harshly as she took a puff from the pipe her and Applejack are passing back and forth. "You know, I can't believe nopony found this stuff earlier. It's amazing" Said rainbow as she passes the pipe to Applejack.
"Whowee, you can say that again. I feel on top of the world. What did you say this stuff was called?" She asks as she takes a hit and coughs uncontrollably.
"They call it Mareijuana" Says rainbow and she lays back into a more comfortable position. It's was around 9:30 PM. Applejack was done her chores for the day and this substance made the ache in her legs and hips fade away. Rainbow was finished her work for the day and just wanted to sit back and relax. "You know who would really like this?" Asks rainbow as she slowly turns her head towards her friend who was holding the pipe out towards her. Rainbow grabs the pipe and takes another hit.
Applejack acknowledges her question with a simple "hm?" as she turns her head and looks her friend in her slightly closed, bloodshot eyes.
"Twilight" Says Rainbow. "Let's bring some over to her place. I bet she'd really enjoy it"
"alright" Says Applejack as she lazily stands up. "let's go." She says as Rainbow stands up as well and they head towards the Golden Oak Library.
The two friends are stoned out of their minds. They can barely walk straight but they continue the trek to Twilight's house, joking and laughing up a storm along the way. When they finally reach the library they stop and knock gently at the door.
A faint "it's open." Can be heard from the other side and the 2 ponies enter the library.
"Oh hey you two." Says Twilight looking up from a book she was reading. "what brings you guys here?" She asks with a warm smile spread across her lips.
"Twilight you have to try this. It's so awesome." Rainbow says, holding out the pipe the two were using earlier. Twilight's nose scrunched up as the smell of the strange substance hit her like a ton of bricks. Twilight quickly covered her nose with her hoof.
"What is that? It smells horrible" Twilight says slightly gasping for fresh air. Rainbow and Applejack just laugh as Twilight gains an expression of confusion.
"It's called Mareijuana. Zecora gave it to me. Apparently it grows in the everfree forest and it makes you feel great." says Rainbow, who was still holding the pipe out towards Twilight.
"She's right Twilight. My hips or legs don't ache anymore after bucking apples all day" Adds Applejack. Twilight takes the pipe in her magic and slowly examines it. Rainbow and Applejacks stomachs both make noises in unison.
"Oh man I'm so hungry right now" says Rainbow as she trots towards the kitchen in search of something to eat.
"Wait for me!" Calls Applejack as she follows closely behind her. Twilight continues to examine the strange device. It seems to be made of glass. It's covered in strange colours and patterns.
"hmm.." says Twilight, coming up with an idea to study what this is the the strange effects it seems to have. Shortly after, Rainbow Dash and Applejack returned to the main living area and sat down with a mountain of different snacks and began to chow down. It looks like they haven't eaten in weeks.
"Would you guys mind letting me study you guys during and after using this...Mareijuana?" She asks as her friends continue to gorge themselves with snacks
"I s'pose that's alright." Says applejack as she swallows a mouthful of food. "But can it wait until tomorrow? I'm incredibly tired."
"Same" Says Rainbow as she lets out a small yawn.
Twilight nods and levitates the pipe back to Rainbow Dash. "alright. Tomorrow then."
