“Bother? I like being bothered!” Pinkie Pie started babbling. She forced her face into Rarity’s, with stacks of cloth stuffed inside her mouth. “Pinkie Pie. You’re here to... help me model my new line of clothing, not to consume them.”
“Sure!” Pinkie stuck a hoof inside her mouth. Out from her mouth emerged the colorful silks she had eaten, now scrawled across the floor along with green, putrid liquid.
Rarity was on the verge of vomitting herself. She wished –– she so dreadfully wished –– that Rainbow Dash or Fluttershy or Twilight Sparkle or Applejack were free that day, so that she could avoid asking Pinkie to do her a favor. She hadn’t really liked speaking to Pinkie, and there were many reasons for that. She found Celestia to be unforgivingly harsh on her that day. “...of course, I would’ve requested for Fluttershy or even Rainbow’s help if they had been free, but anyway, Pinkie ––”
Pinkie had been hopping all over the boutique when she had stumbled upon Rarity’s inspiration room. Without requesting permission, she had entered it, and was currently trying out the various dresses Rarity had laid out for her new line of clothing.
It was a tight-fitting attire that fitted Pinkie to the bone. It resembled the Wonderbolts’ costume, except with a touch of Rarity jewels –– a sparkling emerald that went along with pink as custard would do with pie –– on the collar, and the cloth ended after the neckline.
In any other cases, Rarity would have smoke pouring out of her ears but she was amazed by how the costume fitted Pinkie. The pink complemented the cyan blue, which was the color of Rainbow Dash’s feathers, and the emerald brought out the blue in Pinkie’s eyes.
Rarity gasped. With her unicorn magic, she grabbed her basket of sequins and poured it all over Pinkie. She looked perfect –– far more fabulous than Fluttershy in Photo Finish’s ridiculous outfits. Pinkie was drowning in sparkles all around. Rarity’s eyes followed the outline of the costume and how it fitted Pinkie from the hoof, through the ankle and cannon and gaskin all the way up to her huge, juicy flank and her dock and ––
“It’s great to see you so happy, Rarity!” Pinkie exclaimed. “I like your smile!”
Rarity knew Pinkie was just being Pinkie, but she took her remark the wrong way. She could feel her cheeks burning like the inside of Mr. and Mrs. Cake’s oven. Her legs turned soft like apple crumble and her heart was thumping loudly like Vinyl’s wubs...

I can wear this all day long! Look at me! I can do a split!” Pinkie stopped hopping right in front of Rarity, and extended her legs into a straight line. She was as flexible as a strip of confetti. There was the horrible sound of fabric splitting.
Pinkie blushed. The fabric had, obdurately and most undesirably, split at her most senstive area. It had decided it wasn’t enough to anger Rarity with the splitting –– it just had to embarrass Pinkie at the same time. Pinkie grew pinker than she already was.
Meanwhile, Rarity knew what was coming on –– yet another of her grand tantrums. She inhaled almost all the air in the room, leaving less than none for Pinkie, and her irises grew thrice as large. Tolerate if you have to love. After regaining proper respiration, she exhaled and looked at Pinkie.
“Well, isn’t it unfortunate for my fabric to split now.” She resisted glaring at Pinkie. After all, she was the one doing the other a favor. It wouldn’t be nice to admonish her. “Let me see the crime scene and maybe I could fix it.”
Pinkie turned redder than the insides of red velvet cake. Beads of sweat trickled down her mane. “Uh, um, maybe it’s not such a great idea because...” Pinkie felt so robbed of her words, as she thought Fluttershy would. She had never felt like this before. Maybe an explosion of words, but never a lack of.
Rarity approached Pinkie in a feral manner. She was infuriated, of course, but she could smell Pinkie’s shampoo –– was that cake? Who in the hay used cake-smelling shampoo? –– and it smelled like paradise and for a moment she lost the fury but it returned when she remembered the drilling hours and hours of sewing the pieces of the outfit together and –– she sucked in all the air she could possibly manage, and forced a smile.
With Rarity so near, Pinkie was trembling. Was it because she was afraid of Rarity, or was it because she loved having her so close? Her back started feeling ticklish –– it indicated that it was her lucky day today. She could smell Rarity’s perfume, and similar to she would do upon catching a whiff of beautiful cake, she could only imagine how Rarity would taste like...
Rarity could see Pinkie shivering. Was she utterly bizarre, or did she really enjoy having Pinkie feeling so vulnerable in front of her? She forced all the mad, mad thoughts of Pinkie out of her mind. How could she think like this? She was horridly angered by herself.
“Just let me see it!” Rarity snapped. Pinkie jumped and turned around in less than a second and pointed her butt towards her. Rarity bit her lip in embarrassment.
“I see.” Rarity understood. It was a terribly awkward moment, but Rarity couldn’t back out now. She couldn’t observe any cracks on Pinkie’s butt, so she peered a little underneath. There was a split near her sensitive area.
Rarity could feel perspiration trickling down her mane. She felt a hot sensation spreading throughout her body. It was horrific to be positioned in such a weak position. Suddenly, the sea of pink disappeared as Pinkie hopped away from Rarity. Pinkie felt an ache in her shoulder –– an indication that there would be an alligator in the tub. What in the hay, Pinkie Sense? she scolded herself. What alligator, and what tub? Not now, Pinkie!
Rarity’s left eye was twitching uncontrollably. “Indeed, indeed. With a few stitches here and I’ll hopefully be able to solve the problem –– ”
Pinkie shifted uncomfortably where she stood. “The problem? Can the problem be so easily...fixed?” It was a remarkable moment when Pinkie couldn’t find anything better to say. Heat spread all around her body and it seized her by the neck, choking her and she almost couldn’t breathe. It had taken all she could to respond to Rarity again.
Pinkie started staring at the floor. Rarity had a specific eye for the details. She had polished every inch of the floor and it was sparkling clean. Pinkie could see her reflection in it –– and she didn’t quite like the frightened pony who was staring back.
“Whatever do you mean by that?”
“I mean... I know how you look at me, Rarity.”
Rarity felt her hooves turn to cold stone. She was shivering now.
“And I don’t think that problem can be that easily solved.”
Pinkie glanced up and towards Rarity, expecting an answer.
“Uhm, actually, if you do think that this will pose a problem to the modelling, which, of course it shouldn’t, uhm, because –– ”
“Aren’t you going to do something about it?” Pinkie demanded. She had never been so fierce to anypony before and she certainly hoped it didn't offend Rarity —
Rarity knew what Pinkie was hinting at, and with all her pride she certainly refused to admit it. "Silence! As a fashionista I indeed do know what measures must be taken now." With her unicorn magic, she teleported a needle and some threat and started sewing at the hole.
Being in such an awkward position made Rarity feel weird all over. Her own sensitive areas were sizzling hot now. When her telekinesis proved to be too inaccurate and unreliable, even causing the needle to poke at Pinkie's skin sometimes, Rarity had no other choice but to ask Pinkie to remove the garment.
Pinkie frowned and tried to. She used her front hooves to pull the fabric out, but it clung to her like peanut butter jelly sandwiches. Rarity tried telekinesis to get the suit out, but nothing worked.
Oh, Celestia, Rarity thought.
With her needle and thread in her mouth, she made Pinkie lie on the ground while facing skywards. Rarity bent over and started manually sewing the hole together. Pinkie was now leaning against the cold tiles of Rarity’s wall, while the bathtub was being filled up. Steam emanated from the ceramic, bean-like structure. The whole room was hot, steamy, just how Rarity loved it.
Rarity turned the taps and shut the water supply off. The crystal clear water filled up all corners of the bathtub. She put a bath towel around her hair –– fabulosity in the form of hair should be protected, after all. “Come on in, Pinkie.” Rarity spread her arms around her area of the tub, possessive.
Pinkie shivered from the cold –– Rarity had the air-conditioners on –– and relented.
When both mares were comfortably seated in the tub, Rarity winked at Pinkie. Winked? Who in the hay winked nowadays? You’re so horribly cheesy, Pinkie thought. Despite the gravity of the situation, she stuck her head underwater, away from Rarity and started forming bubbles.
Rarity crawled towards Pinkie as stealthily as a thief. This was the perfect moment now. She could see Pinkie’s perfect rear and she reached her hoof out and started stroking it.

All of a sudden, it hit Pinkie. The ache in the shoulder –– the alligator in the tub. Pinkie couldn’t help but laugh. When she laughed, it was like the explosion underneath, except it happened in her mouth. She couldn’t ready herself when she decided she wanted to stop this, and she reached forward and landed her lips on Rarity’s.
Rarity’s lips felt like cotton candy, but warmer and safer and it was a moment so beautiful, tears welled up in Pinkie’s eyes. She pulled apart, giggling at how cliche their little game turned out to be. Rarity forced herself onto Pinkie’s lips again. A myriad of thoughts and emotions –– confusion, enjoyment, satisfaction –– swirled around in Pinkie’s head. “Do you think we’ll have to tell our friends about this?” Pinkie asked.
“This session? Why, how could you even think of it!” Rarity bawled. “Of course we’ll have to keep it under wraps. Ah, wraps –– silk and nylon and other fabrics that I still need to use for my clothing line...”
“No, Rarity,” Pinkie sighed. “I mean us.”
Rarity pondered her words for a moment. “Hm, I think it best we keep this under wraps too. We don’t want any of them to ridicule us and let this ruin our friendships with the others.”
“This will ruin our friendships? I never thought so! I always thought that the lack of cake and candy and no more Nightmare Night would ruin our friendships but I never thought things like that will... Oh! Nightmare Night! I like candy oh Rarity do you have candy? Ah what about Spike! Spike said he... oh never mind! Forever! Forever is forever! I don’t want to ruin friendships! Oh Rarity look bubbles I like bubbles yay let’s blow bubbles together I have some soap here why don’t you –– ”
Rarity reached forward, put a hoof in front of Pinkie’s mouth. She took it away and landed her lips on Pinkie’s again. She absolutely loved and adored and enjoyed the way Pinkie smelled –– a twirling combination of candy cane and apple pie and cake and whipped cream.
Pinkie crouched down further in her corner, afraid that Rarity would scold her for ruining the moment by jabbering the Pinkie way.
Instead, Rarity reached and hoof out and stroked Pinkie gently. “You are so adorable, darling Pinkie.” And then she sighed. She climbed out of the tub, wrapped a towel around her and left.
Pinkie continued forming bubbles in the water. The irresistible smell of Rarity floated all around her. She licked the water and licked the smooth, flawless ceramic.
Rarity returned with a can of whipped cream. Pinkie’s eyes grew larger than a baseball. Whipped cream! Whatever was Rarity going to do with it?
“Creme chantilly,” Rarity purred. “I enjoy treats like these very much.”
Rarity placed a hoof on the can of whipped cream, and sunk it into the button. Whipped cream was sprayed all over Pinkie Pie’s chin, forming a beard similar to Santa Hooves’. Pinkie smiled and stuck her tongue out to lick it clean when Rarity placed another hoof on Pinkie’s hat. Rarity stuck her own tongue out and licked Pinkie Pie’s cheeks.
A fantastic day, Pinkie thought. Whipped cream is the best recipe for love.
