A Changeling Wedding

　　Princess Twilight Sparkle and her friends chated amongst themselves happily. Excited for the opportunity to help in another wedding.

　　“It’s sure was nice of Cadence to ask us to help with this wedding for her friend.” said Applejack.

　　“Yes according to Cadence, Fable Tale was a unicorn in the village she grew up in as a filly.” said Twilight looking down at the letter once again.

Dear Twilight,

A very close unicorn friend of mine,Fable Tale,from my home village in getting married in a few days here in the Crystal Empire, and she would very much like you and your friends to help out with the preparations. Please take the next available train to the Empire. Hope to see you soon.

Princess Cadence.

　　“This friend must be very close to Cadence to be getting a royal wedding.” said Rarity turning to her assistant Sassy Saddles.

　　“Yes yes she is Fable Tale and Cadence were the two best foal sitters in our village and they encouraged every filly and colt to follow their dreams. Fable will be so happy to meet all of you.” said Sassy.

　　“Even if Fable wasn’t a friend of Cadence and hadn’t asked us to help with the preparations I would still assist you with the wedding.” said Rarity

　　As the train approached the empire the girls saw that the station was crawling with guards all carrying strange devices.

　　“What in the hay is going on?” Applejack asked confused.

　　The devices began to glow scanning the train.

　　“Alright this ones clear.” said one of the guards.

　　“I have no idea.” said Twilight as they exited the train.

　　As they stood on the platform they spotted Shining Armor giving several guards orders.

　　“Shining Armor!” Twilight shouted.

　　He turned towards them smiling.

　　“Twily you made it.” he said hugging Twilight.

　　“Of coarse we wouldn’t miss this for all of Equestria.” She said gesturing to her friends with her hoof.

　　“But what’s with all the security?” Rainbow Dash asked hovering in the air.

　　“Yes why all this for..some...Um.... common pony?” Asked Rarity trying not to sound rude.

　　Shining Armor ignored the question.

　　“Cadence is waiting for us at the palace with the bride and groom as well as the rest of the wedding party. We shouldn’t keep them waiting.” Said Shining Armor

　　The girls followed Shining Armor to the Crystal Palace, where Cadence was waiting for them.

　　“Cadence!” shouted Twilight as she ran forward and hugged Cadence.

　　“Twilight I’m so glad you all could make it. Let me introduce you to my good friend Fable Tale and her fiance Story Writer.” Said Cadence as she gestured to a purple unicorn mare with a brown mane tied in a low pony tail with a dark pink bow tied behind her ears and a grey unicorn stallion with glasses and black mane standing next to her.

　　“We are so happy to finally meet you Twilight Sparkle thank you all for helping with our wedding.” said Fable Tale

　　“Excuse me but you are in the presences of a princess and as so should show her respect!” Rarity shouted.

　　“Rarity calm down I don’t mind.” said Twilight looking at Fable.

　　“I’m sorry about that please to meet you.” She said shaking Fable’s hoof.

　　“Fable and I are so greatful for your help Twilight. We don’t want certain ponies to ruin our wedding and with all four alicorn princesses in attendance and Shining’s guard I know our wedding will be protected.”

　　“What do you mean certain ponies?” asked Rainbow Dash

　　Cadence looked at Sassy

　　“ Sassy could you go meet the other is the ballroom I’m sure they will be happy to see you again we will be there is a moment.”

　　Sassy nodded and left the room.

　　Fable and Story looked at each other then to Cadence and Shining Armor, who both gave an assuring nod. They then looked back to Twilight and her friends who waited patiently for an answer.

　　“Alright to tell you the truth we aren’t unicorns at all.” said Fable as her and Story took a deep breath.

　　 Their horns began to glow as a flash of red flames engulfed Story Writer’s body and a calming purple light engulfed Fable. When they stopped a full grown changeling stallion with a silver mane with a red outline and a grape purple colored alicorn with a violet,dark pink,and dark purple mane were standing when Fable and Story were. Twilight and her friends gasped.

　　“ What..... what are you?” asked Twilight.

　　“My name is Silver Echo. I am the prince of the Eastern Changeling hive, and this is Princess Nature Heart of the lost Ever Free Kingdom.”

　　“We heard stories of the Ever Free Kingdom as fillies.” said Applejack.

　　　“We thought is was just a story but is it true? That the Ever Free forest is really the ruins of a lost kingdom.” asked Fluttershy

　　　Nature Heart nodded. “ Thousands of years ago my kingdom and subjects were deeply connected to nature. Our magic comes from nature itself. But over time the forest reclaimed my kingdom and my subjects are gone.” She said quietly.”

　　　“ Then who are you trying to keep away?” Twilight asked

　　　Silver Echo took a deep breath. “I believe she calls herself Queen Chrysalis.”

　　　Twilight and her friends gasped. “Why would that meanie mean pants crash your wedding?” asked Pinkie Pie

　　　“She was originally my betrothed a long time ago.”

　　　Twilight and her friends looked at him in shock, Pinkie Pie said “wait a minute,” as she pulls out a glass of water drinks it and spits it out “What!?”

　　　Silver nodded and sighed,

　　　“Changeling law states that members of royalty in the different hives, must marry when they reach maturity. I was to marry Chrysalis but I didn’t want to marry somepony I didn’t know nor love. So I ran away with two of my most loyal subjects, We disguised ourselves as a little normal family living in the crystal empire as I grew up I became good friends with Sombra, before his decent into madness that is,Sombra wasn’t always evil before he was a good king and loved by all crystal ponies, on one of our quests in search of knowledge and new spells, Sombra and I came across the Ever Free Kingdom we met Nature Heart and was invited to stay in the Kingdom and Study their magic.

　　　 Over time I fell in love with Nature Heart and so did Sombra but Sombra tried to use magic to win her over I protected her and was banished form the empire and my parents tortured. I asked Princess Celestia and Princess Luna for help and they agreed Sombra needed to be stopped. I became the princesses inside pony disguising myself as a new recruit for his army when I saw Sombra loosing his sanity. As a reward my parents and I were given a place to live in Canterlot. As for Nature Heart to protect her I asked Princess Celestia to block her magic and to hide her true form until Sombra was defeated.

　　　But when he caused the empire to vanish Celestia feared Sombra and the empire would return and told me to just watch Nature Heart from afar until the time to reveal the truth was right. She is an alicorn a thousand years wouldn’t seem so long for her. Whenever she would start to catch on about her being different Celestia would use Nature’s magic with her own and return her to a foal and she would start a new life.

　　　Finally Celestia thought it would be best to send to a village with two of her subjects and be raised as a normal unicorn while I stayed in Canterlot and was disguised as a unicorn. It broke my heart but I knew it was to protect her. While she was living in that village she befriended Cadence and I befriended Shinging Armor. While she was in Canterlot visiting Cadence once we met I of course knew right away it was her but had to pretend I didn’t know her we fell in love all over again and when Chrysalis crashed Cadence and Shinging Armor’s Wedding I knew I couldn’t hide the truth from her anymore.

　　　Revealing to her my true form broke Celestia’s spell on her and awoken her true form, when we received word that the Crystal empire returned and that all of you defeated Sombra and Cadence and Shining Armor were the new rulers I proposed to Nature Heart and asked Cadence and Shining Armor if we can have the wedding here and explained our past to them.”

　　　Twilight and her friends sat down blow away at Silver’s story.

　　　“How romantic.” said Rarity.

　　　“ But why would Chrysalis crash this wedding?” asked Applejack

　　　“Changelings can see through other Changelings’ magic she knew the moment she saw me who I was no doubt she will try to drag me back to her hive if she has the chance.” replied Silver

　　　Twilight stood up. “We will be more then happy to help you, A friend to Cadence and Shining Armor is a friend to us.”

　　　Nature and Silver smiled. “Thank you, outside of Celestia, Luna, Cadence, Shinging Armor, and Our parents, you all are the only ones that know of our true forms. So please call us by our disguises.” said Nature as she bowed her head to them.

　　　“Will do.” replied Applejack.

　　　Silver and Nature’s horns glowed again as they put on their disguises. “Now some ponies from our village are going to help with the preparations.” as they exited the room and entered the ballroom. Four ponies were sitting at a table with Sassy chatting among themselves when they entered the four ponies turned and all of Twilight’s friend’s faces lit up.

　　　“ SUGAR BELLE! PARTY FAVOR!” Pinkie pie Shouted as she raced forward and hugged the two unicorns.

　　　“Rara!” Applejack ran forward and hugged her old friend.

　　　“ Sunset Shimmer I’m so glad you’re here.” said Twilight hugging Sunset.

　　　Rarity looked at Sassy “These are all the ponies you grew up with?”

　　　Sassy nodded. “ Fable and Cadence were our foal sitters.”

　　　The rest of Twilight and her friends greet their friends.

　　　 Just then a unicorn stallion with a neon green and black mane, a Pegasus mare with a lavender mane and two earth ponies enter the room.

　　　Rainbow dash glanced at the Pegasus and jumped up in excitement.

　　　“Oh my gosh oh my gosh oh my gosh. You’re Lavender Mist the former captain of the Wonder bolts before Spitfire.” she said cheerfully.

　　　“ Every pony meet my parents Lavender Mist and Neon Spray and Fable’s parent Pencil Art and Fern Sprig.” said Silver

　　　Twilight and her friends greeted the ponies.

　　　“Alright now that introductions are out of the way lets go over what every pony’s role in the wedding will be. I will have the honor of marrying Fable and Story. Shining Armor will Story’s Best Stallion.

　　　Pinkie Pie you and Party Favor will be in charge of the reception. Sugar Belle, Applejack you will be the ones in charge of catering and will be working with the best crystal caters in the empire. Fluttershy and Rara with provide the music. Rarity and Sassy will work together on the wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses. Rainbow and Lavender will entertain the guest with their aerial stunts. And lastly Twilight you and Sunset will be in charge of making sure everything goes smoothly and on time.” Said Cadence.

　　　“ Alright A chance to perform with one of my idols count me in.” exclaimed Rainbow Dash

　　　Lavender giggled. “I like your energy kid. I have a feeling we will great along great.”

　　　“Who will be the bridesmaids?” Asked Sassy.

　　　“Well I was hoping all of you girls would like to be my bridesmaids, and Party Favor could you be a Grooms colt?” asked Fable with a smile.

　　Every pony jumped up with joy.

　　“I’ll take that as a yes.”

　　　“Hey don’t forget about us.” Apple Boom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo entered the room.

　　　“We can help too right we do have our Cutie Marks.” said Scootaloo as the showed them their Cutie Marks.

　　　“Alright Applebloom you can help Neon Spray with the decorations. Sweetie Belle can be backup for Rara and Fluttershy. And Scootaloo you can help Lavender and Rainbow with the entertainment.” said Cadence.

　　　“But I can’t fly.” Scootaloo said sadly.

　　　“Don’t worry about that here.” Fable walked over and touched her horn to Scootaloo’s wings and for the first time they stretched and opened up.

　　　Everypony around them gasped as Scootaloo unknowingly lifted herself into the air. She looked at her wings and a look of pure joy shot across her face as she flew around them, “Look at me, I can fly, Wooohoo!” She screamed.

　　　Scoots landed and looked up at Fable, “How did you do that? My wings have never worked before, I have never been able to fly.”

　　　“I read the spell in an old tome, in the forgotten section of an old library, it was a healing spell that could mend anything.”

　　　“Rara I’ll be happy to work with you and so will my birds.” Said Fluttershy.

　　　“You’re mistaken Fluttershy you and I will be doing a duet together.” said Rara

　　　“What in front of every pony staring at me.” Fluttershy began to worry.

　　　“Fluttershy calm down and take a deep breath.” said Rara

　　　Fluttershy listened.

　　　“Do you want to know what I do when I’m nervous?”

　　　Fluttershy nodded

　　　“I imagine that I’m the only pony in the room.” answered Rara

　　　“Does it actually work?”

　　　Rara nodded.

　　　Fluttershy smiled at that.

　　　“Well it’s good to see you all made it.” a voice said

　　　Every pony looked towards the door to see Princess Celestia and Princess Luna standing there smiling all of the ponies bowed except for Cadence, Twilight, Silver Echo, Nature Heart, and Shining Armor.

　　　“I’m glad you made it Your Highnesses.” said Nature Heart

　　　“Of course we wouldn’t miss this wedding for all of Equestria.” said Luna

　　　Twilight hugged Celestia.

　　　Then Celestia looked at Sunset who was shuffling her hooves nervously.

　　　“Sunset?” Celestia said confused.

　　　Sunset sighed and looked up at her former teacher.

　　　“Hello Princess Celestia.” she said nervously.

　　　“I’m amazed to see you Sunset. How are you?” asked Celestia.

　　　“I’m alright, I’m fitting into Canterlot High very well that I’ve decided to to stay in that world, but I will come back for visits.” said Sunset with confidence.

　　　Celestia smiled.

　　　“Well Luna and I will leave you all the plan the wedding” said Celestia as her and Luna turned and left the room.
