Prologue
The Region of Sinnoh was home to many different kinds of Pokemon. Each one was either big or small and I thought they were unique, although I never bothered them, never was a fan of those Pokeballs. It felt wrong to take away their freedom. So I focused on trying to help both people and Pokemon considering that my actions were....well wrong.
But it was for a good cause. In my youth I was a thief, still am in fact, but I did it to help people and I didn't just steal from the rich. I stole from a bunch of rich snobs who were spoiled and had no respect for both people and Pokemon. Even some of the Pokemon Police force agreed with me. But that's besides the point.
I liked the life I lived. The thrill and shiver I would get down my spin when I was chased down by those police officers.
For ten long years I have avoided capture and escaped the most highly train police in the region. But what I didn't know was that everything was going to change for me.
Crown City was a beautiful place, especially at night when everyone was a sleep. Perfect time for a heist.
"I hope those snobs have better security this time. Otherwise this is just going to be boring." I said to myself as I began packing my gear into a black backpack only to have my shirt tugged on. I soon looked behind me seeing a little ralts with tired eyes stare at me. In case most are wondering, she's my adopted daughter and I wouldn't trade her for anything in the world.
"Daddy where are ya going?" She asked me. I couldn't help but smile as I patted her on the head.
For those who wonder why I can understand her. It's because she's a psychic Pokemon who can use telepathy.
"I'm going out again dear. Don't worry I'll be back, Please go back to sleep?" I said to her.
"Can I come this time Please?" She asked. It's not that I don't want her too it's just that she's too young and I'd prefer her being her safe....don't judge me.
"Sorry Alice, but you can't come with me. It's too dangerous." I said too her. She only pouted which was adorable and if being cute was a crime, then she would be gladly guilty.
"Pwease?" She asked again with puppy dog eyes.
Don't give in! Don't give in! DON'T give in!
"Sweetie you know why I can't bring you. I promise I'll....make it up to ya." I said to her only for an adorable grin to appear on her face.
"Then can we get Ice cream tomorrow?!" She begged. I couldn't help but laugh at her adorable enthusiasm. She always did have a sweet tooth for Ice cream.
"Sure but you need to stay here okay?" I asked her and she just nodded excitedly and ran off to her little bed. Seriously she was just so fricken adorable.
I was running on the roof tops of houses as fast as I could. I my target was a rich spoiled family known as the Clarks. They were one of the most riches family in the Sinnoh region and I have been studying their security for the past two weeks and recently they managed to have gotten one of the best security systems in Sinnoh.
Of course I'll be the judge of that.
The thought of a well made security system only made me chuckled as I leaped into the courtyard, close to my destination. I soon began to reach into my bag only to hear giggling which surprised me and I immediately opened my bag to find Alice giggling.
"Alice! What are ya doin girl?!" I yelled quietly so nobody could hear.
"I wanted to help daddy. Are ya mad at me?" She said ready to burst into tears.
"Sigh.....No I'm not, but please next time listen to me. This is really dangerous and I don't want to see you get hurt." I said as she nodded in agreement. "Well there's no going back so stay close to me at all times. Don't come out of my bag!! Okay?!"
She nodded as she slipped into my bag again. Also it was cute how she could fit into my bag everything she did was cute, I soon reached into my bag to pull out a grappling hook and headed towards the mansion. I took aim at the roof and fired it. It soon latched on and I soon began climbing until I reached the window.
The window was unlocked and I slipped in quietly and I noticed no one was in the room.
Amateurs. This is just too easy?
"What's so easy daddy?" Alice asked as her head peeked out of my bag.
"Nothing, just slip into the bag again." She obliged and slipped in again as opened the door leading out to a massive hallway, filled with doors upon doors and all I could do was groan. I mean I can understand that these people have a lot of money, but do they seriously need to have so many rooms.
All I could do was press on checking all of the rooms looking for the safe they had hidden. I soon began hearing footsteps and I quickly slipped into a room quietly waiting for them to pass by. I looked behind me to find a small safe in the center of the room. It felt strange for some reason, it was all too easy. I soon took out a small bottle of spray and began spraying it all around the room. I figured there would be some kind of laser security system. But there was nothing. No alarms, nothing. I checked the safe to find some kind of system, but there was nothing.
I knew something wasn't right and began having second thoughts about this, but curiosity got the better of me and I opened the safe. It wasn't locked and looked inside there was nothing. I realized that all of this was a setup.
The alarm started going off and bolted out of there immediately. When I stepped out I saw the police coming down the hall.
"STOP THIEF!!!" One of the officers shouted. Of course I didn't stop, you would think that when a cop says stop to a thief, they aren't going to stop.
"Yeah ain't gonna happen!" I said running down the hall. "Sweetie are you alright?"
"Uh huh..." She answered.
"We're getting out of here." I said only to see leaf blades flying towards us.
"Serperior use vine whip!" The officer shouted. The Serperior did the following and I did my best to dodge it. While running.
I gotta get us out of here, the last thing I want is to see my little girl hurt.
"Alice hand me the smoke screen grenades!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.
"Huh?" I literally face palmed for forgetting that she's only three.
"Hand me the black ball in the bag!!!" I asked.
"What's the magic word~" She giggled. I couldn't help but groan.
"Please!!!" I shouted, panting from exhaustion. She quickly gave me one and I immediately pulled the pin and threw it at those officers. Soon a black smoke surrounded them it wasn't long until I saw the smoke clearing at a very rapid pace.
"Good job Smokey!" One of them shouted. In the smoke I saw purple like creature floating with two heads absorbing the smoke.
"Weezing!!" Was all it said.
While they were distracted I took my chance and dashed out the window at the end of the hallway. I landed in a thorny bush and it ended badly.....For me. Alice was perfectly fine.
"You okay?" I groaned. Alice's head peeked out with a small grin.
"Yep~" She said cheerfully.
I quickly sprung up on my feet and made a run for it. It wasn't long until I heard the sirens of the police coming after us. Worst part about it was I saw an Arcanine and a Houndoom right behind me. I grabbed some marbles from the side pocket on my bag and threw them against the floor.
They both slipped and fell to ground. I knew my tricks weren't going to work. I soon started feeling strange and as I looked around I saw the cops pass out for no reason. I began getting sleepy and the next I knew I was out like a light, hearing a voice.
“Rest now my children, for when you awake a whole new world shall be your home.”
"Urgh....my head" I said groggily as I tried to stand up, only to fall to the ground again. I noticed I was in an ally which I have no idea how I ended here in the first place. But I felt like I was forgetting something, then something clicked inside my head.
"ALICE!!! SWEETIE WHERE ARE YOU!!!" I shouted at the top of my lungs. I looked around but I couldn't find her anywhere, I soon tried walking out of the ally but I tripped again and fell into a puddle. I soon looked at my reflection and....
Let's just say I didn't like what I saw.
"AHHHH!!!"
"What happened to me?! Why do I look like....like...a Pokemon? Where's Alice? My sweet little Alice. What if she doesn't recognize me? What do I do? What DO I DO?!!" I kept shouting for no good reason. Screaming wasn't going to get me anywhere.
So I tried calming down, which only helped a little. But I was still worried about Alice for all I knew she was taken and is being experimented on. Oh I just couldn't picture what would be happening.
But as I stood on my feet again I started hearing laughter in the distance and as I peeked my head around the corner I saw my little girl enter someone's home. I of course immediately chased after her. But as I entered the house the last thing I saw was frying pan, before blacking out again.
I felt restricted for some strange reason as I tried to stand up, but my feet and hands were tied against a chair. In the distance I saw a strange Ponyta who had a cream white coat and two-tone blue mane and tail. I also saw that it was wearing what appeared to be a white-bordered lavender sailor collar with a scarlet tie and a tri-shade hair clip in the back of her mane. I also noticed that it had tattoo of a hat I believe on it's butt. I also noticed that it was holding a frying pan, ready to swing at any moment.
"Uh...listen I'm not going to hurt you, I'm just looking for my daughter. Have you seen her?" I asked.
"I don't know what you're saying or what you are?, but stay away from us if you know what's good for you monster?!" She said raising her frying pan. Apparently she was a female due to her voice. But if she couldn't understand then that would mean......
She's not a Pokemon?!
"You've got to be kidding me?!" I shouted and she was ready to swing right at my face until I saw Alice appear around the corner, eating an apple.
"Hi~" She said with a grin as she took a bit out of the apple.
"Alice go back to the kitchen please, there's a monster that needs to be taken care of and I don't want to see you get hurt." The Ponyta said.
"What I'm not a monster and that's MY daughter and you can't take her from me!!" I shouted again.
"DADDY~" Alice said as she jumped on top of me, causing me to fall backwards landing on the floor. And I'm only going to say that it hurt a lot, but I didn't care cause she was hugging me regardless. "Daddy I'm so glad your here because I met this really nice pony named Coco and she made me lunch and played with me all day!"
"Wait this is you're father?" The Ponyta asked.
"Yep!" Alice replied.
"But he doesn't even....I mean?....Oh I'm so sorry sir I didn't know that she was you're daughter and I couldn't understand...." You know I was expecting it to untie me, but hey an apology works too.
"It's fine." I said with a grin. "Now can you do me a favor and....UNTIE ME FROM THIS CHAIR?!!"
"Oh right!" And she did just that. Seriously I think my legs fell asleep.
After they untied me Coco seemed curious about me.
No surprise there, after all I look like a giant fish monster who can walk on two feet.
"So...um....I was wondering how is it I can understand you?" She asked me.
"Well the reason why you can is because my daughter here is a young Psychic-type Pokemon, allowing her to tap into our minds and translating for me. Which is why you can understand me now." I answered and in all honesty I barely understand a single thing about Pokemon, I was lucky my daughter explained it to me when I found her.
"Again I am terribly sorry sir. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?" She offered.
"Well you could make...." Before I could finish I got slapped on the back of my head by my own daughter no less.
"Bad Daddy!!" She shouted.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"I actually have to agree with your father. Why did you hit him?" Coco asked.
"He was thinking something naughty!" She argued. Well It's not completely true, I may have thought of something a bit perverted, but in all honesty I just wanted a sandwich.
"Okay one that's totally not true and I was just going to ask if she could make me a sandwich. I'm actually quite hungry." I asked, but Alice was still scowling at me. While Coco looked a bit confused.
"Well I guess I could, but what kind exactly?" She asked.
"I have no idea? Surprise me?" I asked and she went into the kitchen. I soon turned towards my angry adorable daughter.
"Okay sweetie tell me, What did I do wrong this time?!" I asked her.
"You were thinking naughty thoughts about that lady!" She argued.
"I was not!" I countered.
"Was too!"
"Was not!"
"Was too!"
"Okay listen I was not thinking anything naughty~ And you know I don't like Pokemon that way!" I argued.
"But she ain't a Pokemon daddy and you know it!" I don't know what's more terrifying, her cuteness or her anger.
"Um....Excuse me, your sandwiches are ready guys!" Coco called out. My mouth was literally watering at the thought of food.
"Okay you win, just drop it alright?" Still can't believe that I'm arguing with a toddler and I'm in my twenties, but it's always have been this way and I wouldn't want that to change one bit.
"Yay~" She cheered as she ran adorably to the kitchen. Seriously being this adorable should be illegal, if she gets any cuter I might have a heart attack.
"Don't eat all of them!" I shouted as I followed in after them.
End of Chapter.
