"Hmm Jacket?" Dax held a brown jacket infront of him
"Or no Jacket?" he let it drop to the floor
"well you'd better decide quickly or we'll miss the reservation" Twilight called from the other room

Chapter 1
As the final cart pulled up to the small cottage Dax admired his new home. Truth be told it was not much but it was a home “CLANG”. waking a few minutes later in pitch black darkness he felt a hoof pushing his side.
“wha…” he mumbled
“Oh my gosh your awake I never thought you would wake up but now that your awake”
the pot flew off of his head the light stinging his eyes, as his vision cleared he jumped back a pink earth pony was leaning right over him inches from his face
“I’m Pinkie Pie WELCOME TO PONY VILLE!” The pink pony shouted.
“WHOA back up I thought that I was alone up here”
“Nope as soon I saw the moving carts I waited until I saw an unfamiliar pony and here you are”
She was holding a cake it read WELCOME TO PONY VILLE __________
“um what are those lines for?”
“Well mr Pony that’s were I write your name! DUH”
“So What is it hmm Shiny Hoof, Funny Bone, Scaredy Flat.”
“IT’S DAX!!” Dax screamed at her
“Ooooooh you looked like a Dax welllll”
she pulled out a icing tube quickly wrote down in a messy scrawl DACKS
“No not cks it’s just an x”
“Okee Dokee Loki”, she quickly scooped the Icing of with her hoof and shoved it in her mouth
“mmm Butterscotch” she said licking her lips finally Writing down again in a messy filly like scrawl DAX “here you go see you down by sugar cube corner Dax”
she hopped down the steep hill down to Pony Ville.
“Finally” he thought to himself as he turned to walk into his home he tripped and fell right onto the cake “Ugh” he glanced down at his cutie mark a black cat walking underneath a ladder “Just my luck”.
"Dang I really need to go get food" Dax began to trot down the path to Ponyville
"SHIIIIIIIIT" he cried as he tripped
"OUCH"
"CRAP"
"ungh"
he grunted as he slammed into the bottom of the hill
"hey are you alright" a soft voice asked
"Come on Twilight hes breathing isn't he"
"Spike he may be seriously hurt"
"it's fine Twilight is it?"
"Yes"
"I'm used to these kinds of bumps and bruises heheh"
She really is quite a looker he thought to himself, come on don't blow it by saying something stupid.
"say Twilight would you want to, if you aren't doing anything do you wanna get something to eat?" Dax said nervously
"Oh" said Twilight Blushing "well ok meet me infront of the Library at seven?"
"Sure, definitely!
