Six years have come and gone since the Cutie Mark Crusaders left Ponyville in search of their special talent, and in that time, some things have changed, and some things haven't. For Spike, something has changed, and for Applebloom, it hasn't, as they miss the other and both look at a lone star in the sky for comfort.

Note: I am aware that as of Season 5, the CMC now have their cutie marks. But I had actually had this planned before that episode aired, and was planning to release it for Valentine's/Hearts and Hooves Day after I missed my chance on New Years, which is why there's an 'Alternate Universe' tag. Not sure if it's sad per say, but please let me know if I'll need it.
