My Little Dashie - Retold ( A 75% different story. ) alt ending.
I never liked my life. Since I was small my parents never treat me well and I always got beaten by my Dad. Now in F.2 it never happened again lately, but stress from school and everything are still breaking my mind down. I feel nothing but misery of future.
It’s another typical day, working my way to become a youtuber - a dream job of mine since I was small. At one random day I found this show on my laptop’s screen: My Little Pony: Friendship is magic.
I watched it with my curiousity and liked the show in 10 seconds. I like Rainbow Dash the most, for being cool and loyal and colorful.
My life started to light up afterwards… As if miracles blessing me.

2nd March, my birthday. Birthday is not much difference from a normal day to me, no presents or cakes is fine by me. But after waves after waves of pointless yelling from my teachers, a preposterously long detention class and the worst of all, a painful break up with my beloved girl, I can surely say this is the worst B-day in my life.
It’s 7pm, I’m finally on my way home after this long, horrible day. It’s a weekend after this day so I can take a break and probably think of what next. My mom and dad are on duty tonight, so it’s pretty boring and lonely here to be honest. I checked my phone and found out that I’m being teased and yelled at in all kinds of word you can ever imagine. It was the moment that I thought: that’s it, I’m done with this hellish life. I need to do something.
Walking on the empty street, I started to wonder how to end this without pain. Jumping off the roof? Stab myself? As all this crazy thoughts of suliciding keep running through my brain, but all in a sudden I spotted a cardboard box. A plain cardboard box that is left on the sidewalk next to the rubbish bin for some reason. With the slient midnight environment I heard snores from inside the box, so I decided to take a look in the cardboard box. Who knows what’s in there? A cat? A dog? No. It’s not a dog, nor a cat.
Inside the box lied a blue colored filly, curled up and snoring. It has those rainbow colored mane and a pair of tiny, feathery wings.… Wait what?
IT CAN”T BE TRUE! How can it be?! It’s… Rainbow Dash from My little Pony! But how? Why? When?
The first thought in my mind is that, hey! It can’t be true! Rainbow Dash is just a imagined cartoon character from a TV show! I must be dreaming! I slapped myself in the face as hard as I can, but it turns out that it's not a dream. It’s Real. Rainbow Dash is real. Existing physically, alive right in front of my very eyes.
That slap is so powerful that made such a loud noise, waking Rainbow Dash up. She opened her big cute eyes slowly and looked at me. I genuinely have no clue how to react to her, so I reached my hand out and waved gently, but nervously.
CxB: (nervously) H-hi there… Rainbow Dash…? How are you even here?
RD: (Remain slience, reaching out front hooves to get closer to CxB)
CxB: (calmed down, talking to himself ) Ok… I liked you in the show. Not asking why are you even here, I guess I can’t just let you be in the open like this. What if those people run experiments on her? Or any inhumane treatments? Well, I guess I wil have to take you with me then…
My mind of ending my life vanished after this unexplainable encounter. I know that I now have a new responsibility: take care of Rainbow Dash. I picked up the box and walked back to my flat. I put down the box next to my bed and went to sleep.
So...How can you possibly keep her hidden from everyone? You can’t let anyone know about this, can you?

Since then, every night I hide her from my parents in my closet and uses my pocket money to buy food and toys for her. I try my very best to keep her happy and healthy. My Best friend Jagzon seemed to notice that I’m acting weird these days.
Jz: (curiously) Hey dude, what’s up with your moves these days? You deleted all of your TF2 pony mods and stopped watching MLP, you don’t like it anymore?
CxB: I still like the show and I’m fine. Don’t even think I have issues. I just kinda stop watching for a bit… Better to my own Health, right?
Jz: ( not believing ) Oh please, you really think I’ll believe your random and weird movements? Be honest with me, What’s up?
CxB: ( anixiously ) Promise not to tell anyone else? And not laugh at me?
Jz: ( confident ) Of course not bro, I’m your best friend!
CxB: ( Deep breathe ) Okay… so long story short, I found Rainbow Dash in real life in a card board box. I adopted her.
Jz: ( Pausing a second, then a laugh burst out) Hahahaha! Are you freaking serious? An animated cartoon character in real life? Go get yourself a doctor if you do have mental issues. Take some pills man...
CxB: ( half anger ) Didn’t you promised not to laugh at me about this? But I just don’t get it too… How is she here tho…
Jz: ( stopped laughing) I’m very sorry man…. But that’s just insane when you talk about it like this…
CxB: (rolling his eyes) Hurrrr…. Come to my house this weekend and I shall show you that she’s real…
Sunday is here within no time at all. I gave Jagzon a phone call to tell him to come. He walked in my house and looked around. Nothing special in sight for him apprently...
Jz: Dude, where is she? I’m actually excited to see her...
CxB: One moment, I’ll go get her.
I waved my hand to tell Rainbow Dash to come out from my room. She walked out peacefully as she’s getting used to me as her “father”.
Jz: ( shocked ) Oh… My… Goodness… Grastious... Tell me this is not real…. How on earth can she even be real?…
CxB: ( chill ) Just Chill alright? Neither me can explain why she’s here… But the fact of her existence is here. We can’t deny it what so ever…
Rainbow Dash, or Dashie to me, seemed to be a bit timid against Jagzon since his a stranger to her.
CxB: (suddenly realizing) Oh no! My parents are day off tomorrow! I can’t let Dashie to stay here alone! What if my parent find out?! We gotta think of a solution!
Jz: ( a thought ) Ok I have an idea but it’s still risky. Take her to school with you tomorrow seemed to be the only way.
CxB: ( Surprised ) Are you nuts? Bring her to school is super easy to be found out! You know those people in my class have no mercy to the others property! Dashie might die because of their crazy destruction!!
Jz: Mine neither, but if you leave her here you stand no chance hiding her yourself.
CxB: ( accept ) Oh well, I guess I don’t have a choice then… Here’s my idea, we swap the protection periods every lesson and leave immidiately after school alright?
Jz: (smiled) Friendship is magic, pal.
CxB: ( smiled) Friendship is magic. Bro-hoof.

We hid her in one of the lockers and kept her protected and hidden through out the day. But it’s still way to soon to say that she’s safe from being spotted by anyone else excpet me and Jagzon.
A few months has past since I found Dashie, every weekend I take her to the contryside and let her run around, try to fly and all kinds of stuff without being noticed. Her limbs and wings grew stronger and stronger day by day. Such a big difference since I first met her. Her speed and agilty increasing as days goes on. At one moment, my calculating mind went to me and warned me: this is too good to be true forever. But deep in my heart and soul, I don’t want Dashie to leave me. I can give up anything to have her with me. This relationship between a filly and a human, just way more touching and happy than the time I spend ( or wasted ) with that girl. Dashie means more than a pet or a Best Friend to me.
As Dashie becomes a best friend, a daughter, a girlfriend whatever you call, I need to communicate with her to know about her thoughts. I remembered the good old times in my primary school being a teacher assisstant in English. The feeling and experience of teaching my class is still fresh and clear in my mind. I took a kindergarden textbook from my pile of old books and started teaching Dashie the alphabets and numbers. Dashie is a very clever filly which she learns so fast, it took her 2 days to fully memerize the alphabets and numbers. Sometimes my parents just seemed to heard me speaking in my room and took a look at me. Dashie is really vigilant and hid away in split seconds.
It’s been a year and a half since I found and adopt her. I never knew her birthday in Equestria date, so I made her share the same day with me, 2nd March. She is a bit lager in size than I first found her, she can now speak English, knows basic math, read and write, but wait, are we forgetting something? Yes, she is meant to know how to fly. She never had an oppertunity to fly a great distance since we never have a super wide open space for her to fly around freely. It took me so long to get a long holiday and went up to the mountains. Jagzon and I led Dashie up to the top of the mountains. The skies are clear and we can see views from far, far away. Not much people comes up all the way to the very top, so It’s safe for us to let her take the advantage of the wind and glide around. The first flight is a sucess, she hovered in the air for 20 seconds and flew for around 50 meters. I’m so proud of her and at a moment I wondered: How I wish I’m a pegasus pony and fly around freely with her.
Jagzon once asked me, when do I plan to tell her the truth that she doesn’t belong to Earth but Equestria? I have no idea just yet, but it’s just not the time right now. Maybe someday, maybe someday it will be an ideal time to tell her about everything that she has to know about herself and her real home… My thought stopped at this point and I see Dashie’s joyful face, her body dancing and celebrating of her first attempt.
For some reason, I always felt like the time to spend with her is running out soon. I just hope this never ends, but it’s just too good, way too good to last forever.

I’m on F.4 this year and I studied Biology and Computer Science, mainly because of Dashie. I try to figure out what could Dashie really be as she is a pegasus pony, who knows what is under her skin. She is very curious about human life and started using my laptop and my smartphone. I didn’t see anything wrong for her curiosity, until I realize its a potenially big mistake.
My life is full of colors to have Dashie with me, giving me power and cheering me up, and no exception for today. I returned home with a big smile on my face, bringing her a really special gift for her 3rd birthay if my math is correct - A Rainbow Dash birthday cake. I walked up to my house’s front door and opened it gently.
CxB: ( joyful ) Dashie! Daddy got you something today!
No response from her what so ever. Weird indeed, as she mostly run at me happily everyday I come back from school and hug me as tight as she possibly can. Suddenly a familiar tune came out from my room. “ My little Pony~ I used to wonder what friendship could be!” I immidiately knew it went wrong, so wrong. I thought I’m gonna tell her when she grows older but now it seemed she found out the truth all by herself.
I put the cake into the fridge and slowly walked into my room. I saw Dashie’s eye lined with tears, my laptop playing the episode “WonderBolt Acedamy”, featuring Rainbow Dash. Dashie didn’t look happy at all.
CxB: Dashie look, daddy have something to tell you. Can we talk?
RD: (silence for a moment, then radically) Why daddy, why! How long do you want to lie to me?!
CxB: Look Dashie, daddy is sorry and yes, we can talk about things….
I told her everything I knew about the Mane6, the wonderbolts, Equestria and all about the show. I answer all of her questions. She burst into tears and flew off the balcony, losing sight of her within seconds.
I tried to stop her from flying away but failed badly. The upcoming days were harsh without Dashie beside me. I have insomnia at night and can’t focus in class by keep falling asleep. The biggest concern is that she running it other human, I just hope even she never come back, she can stay away from other human being.
3 days without her. I’m fed up with my hellish life once again. It’s Friday midnight and once again I’m wandering on the street. I looked up and I saw some blue color on the roof top of my apartment. Could it be Dashie?
I ran up to the roof top as fast as I can ever manage to, I’m right, it’s Dashie , sitting on the roof looking at the dark sky of the night. As dark as how I actually feel at that moment...
CxB: (nervously and carefully) Umm, Dashie? It’s that you?
RD: Dad?
CxB: Well I just gotta say that I’m so sorry.
RD: I’m sorry daddy, I’m sorry.
CxB: No you don’t have to be sorry. It’s all my fault that I don’t tell you about everything. You didn't do anything wrong at all.
RD: Daddy, do you still love me?
CxB: Of course I do! We’ve been through this much together, we have fun, we laugh, we do everythig together! How can I let such little things get in our way? But now let’s just have some cake. We still haven't celebrated your birthday yet.
Dashie hugged me with eyes full of tears, sobbing. I hugged her back, telling her it’s fine.I took the cake up to eat together. Around 3 hours pasted by and Rainbow Dash started falling asleep. I carried her down back in the flat and put her to bed.
“I love you daddy,” Suddenly bright light started glowing on her skin. There’s her cutie mark! The Rainbow Thunder. She have no clue what a cutie mark is, so I showed her the show again and explain that a cutie mark represent a pony’s destiny.
A saturday morning. Dashie told me that she wanted to fly, the cutie mark makes her even more excited about flying, so I took her to the mountain again. She dashed to the clear blue skies very hard and thrust her way forward. I started hearing squeky noises as she exalerates, almost like jet planes flying just beside me. In this moment I knew I have to cover up my ears so I don’t go deaf. She finally did it. The Legandry Sonic Rainboom. A rainbow ring spread over the skies, passing shockwaves penertrating though my body and everything around. I heard glass shartters and car alarms going off all around me. Dashie landed spectacularly with an expression unable to be explained with words. It’s just beyond satisfying to pull off a trick like this.
I heard sirens from police cars so we run away as fast as we possibly can before we run into any kind of troubles. We reached home and close the door, panting and laughing together.
Although she knew she was meant to be clearing skies and changing weather, I just don’t want to break the natural rule of mother nature on Earth just to my heart’s desire unless it’s dire emergency or really important.

We laughed and laughed when we watched the news report in the evening. You don’t see a lot of these in your life, do you?.

I’m finally offically an adult and having my own job, being a part time Youtuber and a delivery guy. Rainbow Dash is not a pony and she is very helpful with my job - fast and efficient and let me do the money work. When I first left home for college it was a relief of leaving my parents, but now I finally understand how painful it is to let your child go and move on for their own good.
Just when I thought it was another normal day in my life, right after I finished today’s recording, I heard a knocking on the door.
CxB: Dashie? Go back to your room. I gotta answer the door!
RD: Okay dad!
Dashie dashed into my room and closed the door. I opened the door gently. I don’t have much friends around this place except Dashie. She’s been the best friend and best daughter to me for all these years.So I have literally no idea who will be right behind the door.
After opening the door, I saw a white, tall pony standing in the front door, with mane that seemed to flow with the colors. Yes, it’sthe ruler of all Equestria, Princess Celestia. My heart and soul tells me this won’t end well what so ever, but I have to do it. I stepped aside from the door and let her in, she led the rest of the mane 6 into my house. I’m anixious and kept slience until Princess Celestia started to speak.
PC: I'm actually quite surprised; I had expected a little more resistance to us entering for you.
CxB: Why would I have to? I know you all just right: Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, all from Equestria. Ponyville and Canterlot
PC: Ah, so you do know then-
CxB: that you are all fictional characters from a kids T-V show, another side of the universe in Equestria, then Yes. Otherwise you are all here, I legitimately have no idea then.
PC: Oh, I think you do know.
I’m totally depressed and honestly, kinda scraed. I know just right what are they here for. For Rainbow Dash, my Dashie girl. And she went straight to her point about Dashie.
TS: Um, excuse me, sir, but from what we could figure out, Rainbow Dash should be here. Is she?
CxB: Well yeah, she’s just in my room.
R: Your room?
CxB: Well yeah. I’m not sure who was knocking on the door and I don’t want Dashie to be spotted by the others.
R: Dashie? My, my you're that friendly with her already?
At that very moment, I really want to punch that Rarity in her face of how she responded, she shall regret saying that to me.
CxB: Really? Friendly?! It’s not even close to what’s going on now! And I shall be the actual one to ask you ponies that how have she been here on Earth at the very first place?!
PC: You see, my student-
CxB: I know just right who she is, Twilight Sparkle right? Would you just cut straight to the chase please?
PC: Yes, of course. Ahem. She was working on a spell to help the weather team with storm development. They had ended up making a slightly too large storm, and when Twilight had attempted to use her magic to dispel it, it shot a lightning bolt out to meet her horn. Rainbow Dash was unfortunate enough to be within the reach of the blast, and it engulfed her. It sent her to here. We have arrived to retrieve her. Simple enough, I would imagine.
RD: Daddy? Is everything alright?
This is the moment where I felt like my mind when frozen and my heart to shiver radically.
AJ: Uh... 'scuse me Sugarcube. Did ah jus' hear Rainbow call ya ‘dad’?
PC: Do you care to explain?
Moment of truth. I know I hate this and I just don’t want to do it, but I must do it. I don’t have a second option at all. It's all for Dashie.
RD: Daddy?
CxB: Yes Dashie. I’m coming. We need to talk about something…

CxB: Well then, I’m afraid it’s been a much longer time here than just 2 weeks.
TS: How long?
CxB: (short pause) I’m afraid it had been 15 years over here on Earth, or around 5000 days.
TS: *gasp*
AJ: That don't es'plain why she don't know us.
CxB: Y’know, that’s all about it. When I found Dashie in a cardboard box left on the street she’s just a little Filly.
AJ: Come again?
CxB: If my math is correct, she’s just ‘round 4 to 5 years older when I first discovered her.
PC: You mean to tell us, that you have been taking care of Rainbow Dash for fifteen years? Since she was a small filly?
CxB: Well umm… she is… I’m know this is not true… dear god-
PC: I think I do understand the reason behind why Rainbow Dash had called you ‘dad’.
RD: So what's supposed to happen now?
PC: Well, it's quite simple. Twilight? Do you still remember that memory spell? From the Discord incident?
I know right what Princess Celestia is up to. She does plan to wipe Dashie’s memory with me clean, or just start anew.
CxB: ( started crying ) No please wait! Please let me have a little moment with her, as y’know,the very last time we’ll ever have a chance to see each other.
CxB: Rainbow Dash… My Lil’ Dashie girl…My one and only best daughter...I love you from my heart and soul. If you haven’t showed up in my life at first, I maybe pretty much dead already. You have brighten up my life, cheering me up when I need support through out these 15 years. All this time we doing all kinds of things: Eating, playing, flying, laughing, everything! Just bare in mind that whenever you feel like need me, do go ahead and find a way to get me alright? I have some of your footages of you recorded, before it’s long gone for you… let’s just take a look at them…
Every pony gathered up around my laptop. Tears came out from every pony and me. It just hurt so much to know that we will never see each other ever again, Dashie cried out loudly.
RD: D-d-do I have t-t-to go d-d-daddy?
CxB: Yes. You don’t belong to here on Earth. You belong to Equestria and it’s where you’re actual home is.
RD: But I belong here, with you!
CxB: On Earth you don’t haveany other ponies to be your friend at all. I’m just here to take care of you, until the moment for you to go back to your real home comes, which is now. I knew this moment will come eventually, I just didn’t expect that it would be that painful to say goodbye forever. And just so you know, your real father’s name is Spectrum. The Legendary flyer. Also by going back you can join the Wonderbolts, flying around freely, not worrying about anyone seeing you...
RD: I love you daddy…
CxB: I just hope… I just hope that there is an actual way… not to wipe her clean and maybe, just maybe, we can still communicate with each other…
PC: Well there is a way to do it, but it is not gonna be easy to perfrom: In Canterlot we have a mirror to teleport to an alternate universe but only Twilght can go through as any pony else going in will disturb the harmony and cause chaos to the time and space… And it only opens for 1 week per 30 moons., and 30 moons is a rather long time. We do can make a similar system... Also I guess you can write to each other while the portal is not active. However it does take time to setup the whole system, and we still have to wipe her memories first before we head back, so that we don’t break the rule of harmony, but I’m sure as long as you don’t disturb the harmony of time and space, youi can still meet and communicate with each other after some time.
CxB: That’s great! Thank you your majesty! But before you go, please do give me a bit more time. I need to write this down for her to know about me once again after going back to Equestria.
PC: Time is running short, sir. Make it quick or else the harmony of this universe may crumble without warning…
I grabbed my pen and paper and started writing as fast as I could ever do… :
Dear Dashie,
I’m your father from the alternate universe. Your real dad may be Spectrum, but after the accident you were sent here for 15 years until you’re real family found you and took you home, I was the guy who took care of you. Your memories may be cleared up completely, so I give you this letter to remind you of my existance. Hope you’re still able to remember and know me. This temperary goodbye may take a long time, a long time before I can see you again, so I wrote this letter. Hope to see you soon and do remember to write to me!

Twilight’s horn glowed white and violet. All in a sudden they vanished in a puff of smoke. I start wonder right after they left: How long exactly does it take before she fully remember me again and write to me? I guess only time will tell.
That night I finally got myself to sleep, and a blue- purple pony showed up in my dream, it’s Princess Luna.
PL: I’m sure you’ll meet again in a bit, just put this goodbye away for the moment. She’ll be back I garentee.
CxB: What makes you so sure Luna?
PL: For being the sister of Celestia! (smile) Just don’t worry and move on with live!
Just give some patience. Maybe the day she comes back is just tomorrow? Who knows?
