The changlings attacked Canterlot during Shining and Cadence's Wedding, I was one of the "Royal Hostage" that day unfortunately. That day, she walked towards me as her real self. Lifting my chin up and looked at me. She laughed in a wicked way and and a puff of smoke and green lights she disguised as me, then continues her grand plans of taking over this place. I struggled to try to get the ropes and gaks of me but they ware too tough to break apart. Twilight managed to broke the strips and bonds clear and released Cadence. Shining and Cadence  meets together and casted to spell, or what I prefer, a nuke. after that we may have won the battle, but who dares to guarantee they won't be back for round 2 in anytime?   "Gahhh!" I opened my eyes at once and screamed out loudly, looking around and panting. Thank God it's all just a horrible dream reminding me of the Canterlot Wedding incident. It have been quite a long time after this but the memory in my head stays sticky like glue and never fade even a single bit. How I wish I can just rub this nightmare all out like rubbing an eraser on words written by a pencil. That day was a horrible experience, tho happy ending at the end of the day.    I'll be honest with this, I actually felt strangely attached to this tall, black changling - Queen Chrysalis in some sort of way. Not because I was casted a mind control spell or something, but a genuine feeling, a crush in my heart. I did research on her before, which I found out that she and her kingdom of changlings feed of love, love equals life to them. Giving her my very own heart and soul not only means I'm giving her a chance to  strike back on Equestria again, but it's just purely wrong to actually have a crush on a non-pony creature - a changling for me being an alicorn, Prince of Justice, Commander of the Elite Squad Eclipse. Hah, I'm keep sounding like we will ever see each other. [spoiler][/spoiler]  I heard knocking from the door. "Come in," I ordered in a soft tone. It's Hazel, my most loyal royal servant. She opened my room's door gently. I saw the guards outside have shifted their duties already, so I knew it's getting pretty late here .    " Good Morning your Majesty, team captain of Wonderbolts wants to see you at once. Should I lead her in or something?" She asked me, gently.   "Oh sure! Tell her to come in, and I just want a lite sandwich as breakfast today." Still half-shocked from the dream, I have no appetite at all. And I don't really feel like eating too full since Hazel mentioned "team captain of the Wonderbolts", and that means we are having training today. Oh crap I just got it wiped all-clean from my head! (Just before I forget to tell you all. I'm in the Wonderbolts being a vice-leader of A-team of the academy.)   "G'day, Clipsee, wakee wakee!" Rainbow Dash said in a purposely pitched tone of her voice with a chuckle, " Sergeant Spitfire is looking for you already and you're late today! You know late crews ending up..." "Yes I know right, Dash. That doesn't bother me anyways." In the Wonderbolts, late crews is punished to do 200 push ups and helping of track cleaning and maintenmence. Easy Peacy for me. Hazel brought in the sandwich right after I put on my flying suit. We walked to the balcony and took off after I finished my breakfast.   "Umm Dash, how has it been between you are Soarin? I mean you two look cute together and he is for sure the best stallion in Wonderbolts,"    "Well he's pretty childish sometimes but I mean I'm like that too, just so you know we are actually planning on our very first date!" She replied in an excited tone.   "That sounds good. I mean I legitimently have no idea about love and dates what so ever, by the way that's the reason why I never really chat longer than 5 minutes with Shining and Cadence, lol." I congratulated them, although feeling weird in my mind for some reason.   "Oh Clipsee, you are so thoughtful, like I think you have a crush on somepony, don't ya?" She asked with a face that I never hope to see, a troll face.   "Noooooope. Don't a SillyFilly Dash. How will I ever..."   "ECLIPSE! YOU DO KNOW THE CONSEQUENCES OF BEING LATE IN MY TEAM RIGHT?" Our conversation about crushes was instantly interrupted by Sergeant Spitfire yelling at me with the highest volume she could ever manage, I can imagine.   "Not even a prince has the privilege to be late in this academy under my eyesight! SO NOW DOWN AND GIVE ME TWENTY!" She yelled in her highest volume once again, I can imagine. And yes I will still get punished, half-ed by being a prince, but tripled of being the vice-leader of the team. I have nothing else to say or do so I went straight in to my Push-ups.   Evening, today's training is over. I was picking up feathers and rubbing off Hoof Boot marks on the track. Looking at the setting  sun driven by Celestia, of course, a shadow eclipsed the sunset and flying towards me. It's Fluttershy.   "Umm, Eclipse. I'm to bring you the message of tonight we will have dinner at the palace of Canterlot and have a chat. They're on their move from Ponyville already, so you better hurry." She said in a gentle tone.   "Fluttershy, my dear. Time to go!" A deep male voice from under the clouds. Discord of course. "I'm coming! See ya later." Speaking to her dear and me separately. She flew away before I can say a word. I shook my head and started to think about it again. Love.   Not long after Fluttershy's message, Spitfire walked out off her office with her Sergeant Uniform. She looks absolutely cool in her uniform and super swag in her flying suit.   "Ma'am, the track is now clean and good as new!" I reported, mostly other ponies reports to me all the time, but now it's in reverse.   "You're done already? That's an academy record!" She looked at her watch observed with her mouth wide open. Being a Prince doesn't mean I am lazy and slow, there's not a relationship between them. "Alright, if you, your majesty, want a promotion to the team leader next month, then you better keep you records clean and shiny. That means hard work and no lates." "Yes Madam!" "You better get going, because I'm heading there too and I don't want to see you late twice in a row. Dismissed!" I saluted, and sighed. Not because that I'm annoyed, I'm just tired I think.    Back at Canterlot. Everypony is about to have a dinner, waiting for me apperently. Some of them have brought a very special somepony with them: Rainbow Dash and Soarin, Fluttershy and Discord, Rarity and Spike and well I'm alone. All by myself just as usual. " So how's the  new weapon development going? Do you need any help? " Princess Luna asked me. She has been treating me like her own child for all the times. And I guess that's why my name is Eclipse then. "Well I'm on schdule and the design is almost done." I replied. Developing Range weapons like firearms and projectiles for Earth pony guards and soldiers is a very important job I recently got my hooves on. Since the villans has striked and the Royal Guards being painfully defeated more than once, which is making their fighting ability being questionable, Earth pony range weapons became huge hot topic about our national defenses. "Hey Clipsee, you haven't answer me in the morning. Who's that lucky somepony that's going to be a princess?" Rainbow Dash asked me, and quite frankly shocked me unannounced. Her words made everypony around the table starring at me curiously. Awkward. "Well ah, I don't have one seriously," the mane 6 and everyone else is raising their eyebrows at me, does my answer didn't seemed legit? Apperently my response is too lame to be unsuspicious. Well screw you all. I took a deep breathe and said, "It's a...... Surprise! Everyone will know eventually. Yeah...." No one seemed to be amused but the dinner went on. Close call.   A few days has passed and I feel like I can't control my feelings anymore. Since the dream, the question, the other ponies, the dinner...I have to see her. Before that I need to know where she's at, so I put on my Royal furry coat and went to Ponyville. It's autumn and pretty much everypony is busy harvesting and stuff. Especially Applejack of course since she has like at least ten thousand trees to buck on, or kicking badass as I called her. Maybe Rainbow Dash is way more busier clearing clouds and moisture in the environment.   I tried to find that one changling scout  in Ponyville and see if he has a clue on where his Queen will be at. I asked so many ponies but not much information is founded. Still I managed to track this fellow down to his disguise. I walked in front on him and stopped him there.   " Howdy mister, I've herad that you are a changling. Don't worry I'm not gonna harm you, or you family. All I wanna know is where is your Queen." I cut straight to the chase.   "Urr... Well I guess you did see through my disguises... I'm not sure where my Queen actually is but I can give a general idea the area she will be in." He is cooperative. Probably because I dressed like a Prince and carrying my Sword with me.   I followed the changling to the Library and took a map. Twilight is still a nerd in there but she did helped me found some books about it. Hope she doesn't feel anything wrong about it. After some analysis on the map I think I know where to find her.   Back to my home at Canterlot, I prepared some stuff that I may need, because walking in like an absolute boss would probably end up dooming myself. Perposterous enough just to think about it. I put on a less fancy cape on me and my hoof boots , bring my sword and my prototype rifle with me just in case. I also prepared the protection shield amplifier and teleportation spell booster  to keep myself an escape plan for anything going wrong. I flew my way through the woods, the extreme hills and a big lake. It's a pretty long road and it took me quite a bit of time but finally I'm here. A swamp. I searched around for a bit and I spotted green and black tents aligned in rows. A camp... I scanned the camp in birdview. And there she is. She's sitting there near a mud pool and probably doing some kind of meditation. The dead pool triggered a few ripples by something. Tears? I don't feel like 'running in like an absolute boss' is in any kind a great idea once again, so I waited until she decided to get moving, or to at least leave that pool. Waiting Patiently it's already midnight. The sky is dark but full of stars, looking awesome is the only words that I can come up to discribe it. Good job Luna. I looked back down. She went back to her tent. That's when I know I should go in. I landed gently near the camp and took a few steps nearer and not big surprise, I was blocked by changling guards at the gateway there. Other changlings started gathering up around me and eventually Chrysalis came out to check out what is going on as well.   "Tell me. What is going on -" She saw me. Her pearl green eyes brightly reflecting my own image like a mirror. She took a few steps nearer to me and the guards took a few steps back.   "It's you. I thought I took Shining Armor. Why are you here and how did you found us? For vengence?" Chrysalis asked calmly, while still sustaining her image of a Queen. The midnight breeze drifted he mane, covering half of her pretty face, making her in some way, cute looking. "Oh yes, my Queen." I unbind my weapon and placed it on the ground gently. "I'm come in peace and I'm not harming anyone. One of the changling told me about your location. And I guess I'll have to confess that I actually have a crush on well, you my Queen." "Hm... Interesting. Why would you? You know we feed of love as food and I have cast a spell on you, Aww." She cried out in pain suddenly. She appeared to have some internal injuries that never healed.   "That's why I'm here. I fell in love with you since your invasion in search of food to save your kingdom. My love can provide you power." I responded, not knowing what next. "It's windy out here. Come in and we shall talk." She indicated the guards to let me in and relax. I picked my sword back up with me, just in case. She seemed to have some trust at me.   "It's a long story," She began recalling her memories, "After the blast, I hardly manage to find all my changlings back. Some of them died when I found them, some of them died in the camp here. We don't have much love to spend so we can't heal up by any means. We can only send scouts to gather some supply to keep us living through the days, but a few of them still died to starvation." She started sobbing after she finished her talk. I felt sorry for her kingdom and mostly her. I looked closer to her leg, It's for sure a snapped bone. She never even mentioned it. Even we are sitting side by side next to a fire in a huge tent, I still feel the chill running down my back. The "villain" we know as is actually just a mother caring her children. Why would no pony look at this kind side of her?   "Take my love, my Queen. Heal up. You can't walk around like this," I leaned towards her, reaching out a hoof to her. She rejected. "No. I'm fine. Give it to them outside. Some are starving some are dying. I can't afford to lose more of them." I felt tears running down my eyes. That's a great sacrifice for her children! I started wondering love strong Cadence magic were to cause something more catastrophic than the invasion itself. I walked out of the tent and told the guards about her decision. I went into every tent and healed up every changlings. Covered in blood of true reality: fighting violence with violence. The goods are bad, the bad are goods. Ugly but true.   It's daybreak. I went back to Chrysalis' tent and saw her napping. She barely slept last night most likely. I put my hoof on her back and gave her all I have left to offer. She woke up gently, noticing her leg is fine and no pain at all. I lead her looking around. Every changling is still alive and healthy. She smiled. I noticed one thing: she don't destroy love, she just have no way to pick and have to ruin other life of the others to feed on her kingdom.   "Chrysalis, my Queen. We may have met for a very short time. Still tho, will you be my very special somepony?"   Her eyes lined with tears. I just found out the real kind side of her. "YES! I will!" We hugged tightly to each other, the changlings cheered in joy too. Not sure if that means happy for their Queen or unlimited food. I guess I'll go for both then.   "Eclipse? WHAT ON EQUESTRIA ARE YOU DOING?" A loud noise from a speaker blasted through the joy. Princess Celestia, Luna, Mane 6, Wonderbolts and Shining and Cadence? But how?   Twilight spoke first,"I knew you're on to something finding those books. We tracked you down with our magic radar."   Rainbow Dash laughs,"She's the very special somepony? Hahaha!"   I'm furious and so I Howled, "SILENCE! You all never see her kind side. She is just a mother caring and finding food for her children. What's wrong with that? Discord rined the entire reality but you still forgave him and let Fluttershy be with him. So why can't you all just give her a chance? Sorry Cadence, but I'm afraid you're the one guilty this time. Your blast cause uncountable casualties and injuries to the whole changling lives. I used my love to heal the innocence, what's wrong with that?"   Shining Armor looked away, no way to explain how he felt about his wedding.   "You all want to know whose my very special somepony. Here you go!" I shouted.   "Very touching, but she is still guilty and you are a traitor now Eclipse!" Not sure who said that, but I knew I gotta protect my subject since everypony's weapons are on me and her.   I pulled out my prototype hoof held plasma rifle out of my backpack and points it to Discord. I growled, "Well if you want me too, than let me shoot this guy down first! He wreak chaos all over the lands and still forgiven? Then why can't a changling feeding her kingdom be forgiven?"   Everypony lowered their weapon, so do I. "Well I have one request of taking them back with me!" I requested.   Princess Celestia seemed to understand. "Approved!" She announced.   Today is the winter celebration day. A party was held in Canterlot and of course my Queen became my dear princess, Princess Chrysalis. Representing the love of a mother. Although she's way taller than me, standing at around Celestia's height, I don't care. Everyone loves us just like Fluttershy and Discord. Fluttercord. Abbreviation for us? Well Chrysalipse. -----*END OF CHAPTER 1*------------ //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 - The Return of the Evil Force //-------------------------------------------------------// Chapter 2 - The Return of the Evil Force   Equestria runs with Magic, so I never ever thought of something called karma. But turns out this "karma" thing works under this situation here. Anything that you did to somepony, you will recieve karma and the same will happen to you too. We thought, before Chrysalis ruined the wedding. But now I'm MARRYING Chrysalis, I mean, what could probably go Wrong? Discord is no longer a villan, Luna is not is not Nightmare Moon, King Sombra exploded and dicintigrated. Who can possibly ruin this? For every stories in the world, things never always go as planned. There was one mare, named Starlight Glimmer that knows how to time travel. She went back to 1000 years ago and retrived King Sombra to the future. They made an agreement to reunite the villans and conquer Equestria. Sombra used his dark magic and his power of absoluism to force the long gone villans to all head to the Chrysal Empire at one night. When we found out Princess Luna, Chryssie, Discord are all missing it was too late. The were once again filled up with the evil force that drives them wicked. After a scouting Gurad's report, we knew this is actually very bad. They have returned to their evil state and will attack Equestria any time soon. We gathered up and started an emergency meeting. "Do not panic," I said, " My plan here is to first retrieve Luna, Discord and Chrysalis to weaken the enemy forces and have our loved ones back. I will take the Elite Squad with me and the Royal Guards shall go under command of Shining Armor. Rainbow Dash and Sergeant Spitfire shall be the  air force commanders." "Where's your prototype weapon blueprint?" Celestia asked me," I'm afraid we need to start making the weapons now." "I gave...my blueprint...to Chrysalis...." I confessed. I mean, how will I ever think that something like this will happen? Everyone gasped. I know this is very bad in any kind od ways. "Remember to spy-check everyone you see, and we need to watch out that they may have our weapons. Ok everypony get ready to fight now, cuz they will be here very soon!" I wrapped up the meeting and went back to my room, preparing for the big fight.   I'm the only one with an actual firearm in all Equestria, so I have to make sure I don't lose this weapon in the fight. The plan here is to retrieve Luna, Chrysalis and Discord and turn them back to the good side and fight with the herd. The Elite Squad, Wonderbolts and the Royal Guards are the main 3 fighting force. Spitfire, Shining Armor and me are the Commanders of this operation, under service of Princess Celestia. Our decisions affects the future.   *Current number of Royal Guards : 25000 *Current number of Elite Squad soldiers : 3000 *Current number of Wonderbolts Flyers : 100 *Total number of soldiers in Equestria : 150 000 Chocolate Rain started falling in Canterlot the morning next day. I started to concern about what's coming up. Celestia ordered the Mane 6 to take the Elements of Harmony and get ready to counter who ever is coming as the first wave. We bet that Starlight and Sombra won't attack with 100% resource yet, so we can safely say that the first wave shouldn't be too tough to fight off. But still, it's just a guess. Who knows what tricks do they have up thier sleeves?   Spitfire sent Soarin and Rainbow Dash to scout on the first wave of attack. It's Discord. I walked to the observetory and looked around the whole landscape of Canterlot. Suddenly I felt something smashing to my face. I panic for a brief moment until I got it off my face. A... pie? That's not good...  I wiped my face clean and I saw Rainbow Dash and Soarin flying back.   "INCOMING!" I heard Rainbow Dash's cry and in one moment I felt like I'm determined for the Fight. This very first battle. For Fluttershy. For Canterlot. For Equestria. For Everypony. The War Mode is engaged.   I flew down to the open plaza of the palace and indicated the Elite Squad to be prepared of the upcoming event. I took a glimpse at Celestia, who already put on her armor and had her spear ready. She nodded and the Elite Squad dashed out and started battling weird abomination creatures. Shining Armor sent out a quarter of the ground forces as support. The fight is tough. Injured ponies keep retrieving while we keep sending out forces to replace them.   Twilight Sparkle flew to me and said, " Princess Celestia said we need to use the Elements of harmony if we can't fan him off,"   "Not right now, Spark. The Elements of Harmony needs plenty of time to cool down for each use. Unless it's in dire situations, we won't, and can't afford use it  by any means. Plus we need to capture him alive to get him back to fight on our side, and mostly for Fluttershy." I replied. She flew off afterwards and went finding the Mane 6. "You are going to LOVE ME!" A shout broke though the battles. Everything froze and went silence. It's Fluttershy. She flew in front of Discord and yelled at him. Cadence is right behind her, giving her power of love. Discord didn't seemed to care, he laughed. Fluttershy raged and started her attacks. The battle resumed. Fluttershy's plan is to stop Discord with the love bond between them. Spitfire sent all of Wonderbolts to protect them. At that moment I realized, I can't afford to lose this war. Neither of anypony here. I miss Chryssie, althogh she most likely isn't. I can't live my life without her! And the only way tohave her back with me is to win this war. I pulled out my rifle and inserted some Rubber shells as ammunition, to distract Discord and let the team do their work. I aimed at his face through my high magnification sniper scope and ready to pull the trigger whenever he comes to my crosshair.   "Watch out!" Spitfire yelled, as she grabbed my rifle and fired a shot to the air. It bounced a rock hard pie off track from striking straight towards me, landing just a few step ahead of me.   "Whoa! Thanks Sergeant." I thanked her. I freaked out, wondering what will happen if she didn't shot that pie. Simple enough, I would be dead already.   "Alright cool, Eclipse. Be careful." She flew out and continue their battle. I focused again and fired again and again. Forcing Discord to focus on me, I flew around the skies and switched to assulting tactic. Through this the team managed to have enough space to do their work. After some time of fighting, we have all weaken his power till the point we can finally capture him. Cadence casted the loving spell on Fluttershy and Discord. "PUT HIM DOWN NOW!" Cadence yelled, I need to knock Discord out now, but how do I?   I suddenly remembered that I can use my sword to electrical shock him. I dumped my rifle down and dashed to him. I threw my sword to Spitfire and she shocked Discord. He fainted and fell over.   We relieved. But we all know It's just the beginning.   Discord Finally woke up and the first thing he see is Fluttershy, " What just... happened?"   Fluttershy hugged him hard and kissed him in the muzzle, "You're back! Ohhhh I'm so worried!" She said, being a really emotional pony as what we see her as.   "Do you remember anything about the fight or Sombra?" I asked, trying to get him to remember something.   "Ahh... I have no idea..." His mind seemed to be blank. Apparently Sombra and Starlight decided to use mind control on them. Creepy.   The first fight is finally over. We rested and regathered resouces, preparing for whatever lies ahead. My biggest concern is actually Chryssie. Will she become that evil changling that once consumed Shining Armor's love and overpowered Celestia again? What about me? "No I do not love the groom,  in my heart there is no rule." *Total number of soldiers in Equestria : 150 000 *Total injuries of soldiers : 3500 *Deaths : 0 ------------------------END OF CHAPTER 2--------------------------
