Broken and Rebuilt (Edited)

When I turned the T.V. on I the first thing I saw is my favorite show of all time, My Little Pony. After grabbing a soda and some popcorn, I hopped onto the couch ready to enjoy three seasons worth of MLP. After hours of watching I heard knocking on the front door, I rolled off the couch and lazily made my to the door. When I opened the door there was a mail man holding a small package.
"Package for Mr. Albert Clinton, sign hear please." He handed me a clip board and I wrote my name at the bottom 'Glen Clinton' "Ok hear you go." The male man handed me the giant box and I head back into the house, closing the door with my foot.
"DAD THE PACKAGE IS HERE!" I heard a commotion coming from the basement but after a few seconds the door opened. My father stepped out of the darkness from the basement with his signature lab coat and caring smile. I carefully handed him the package.
"Thank you Glen, this package contains the last thing I need for my special project. Speaking of which, if your not to busy can you help me with my project?" I for one was shocked, no matter how much I begged he never let me help in his experiments. I nodded my head at neck braking speed and follow him down to the basement.
"I am currently working on a special surgical procedure that can give any human incredible abilities. The only problem is that the abilities are random and unpredictable. Some could be helpful while others can be destructive, or useless."
When we got to the bottom of the stairs I noticed a tarp covering my fathers lab table. He pulled it away to reveal 3 different objects. On the table there lay a crystal, a weird spine thing, and a vat containing a vicious silver liquid. "My son... I am showing you this because I think your old and responsible enough to be the first bionic super human. It is completely harmless and 100% safe. The only downside is you have to spend 3 years of train-" Before he could finish his sentence a loud BOOM shook the house.
I rushed outside, the sky looked as if it were ablaze, and I could faintly see something rocketing from the sky towards our home. I squinted my eyes and the object heading our way looked like a metal cube I jumped to the side just in time for the foreign object to hit the
Earth were I was standing, making a giant crater. My father came out just in time to see the metal cube begin to flash and beep. "GLEN GET OUT OF THERE!" He screams at me but was to late. Before I could even react the cube exploded, send me flying backwards through our houses window. I tried to get up from the glass covered floor only to fall back down to my hands and knees. I look around and noticed my father fighting something outside.
I crawled out the door leaving a trail of blood and glass, and used the door frame to pull myself up. "Dad? were are you?" My question was answered when my father came flying through the door, landing at my feet. "DAD!" I looked up to see a green blob of slime advancing towards us. It had a human shape and wore black techno armor. It's puke green eyes analyzing our every movement. I quickly searched around the room for a weapon to protect my father and sure enough my eyes came across the box. Knowing my father he probably bought something either really dangerous or really stupid. I leapt for the box and tore off the lid to reveal a strange looking gun. I didn't even stop to observe as I yanked it out and pointed the oncoming alien scum. Just as I pulled the trigger it spat something from its mouth and at the same time the laser from the gun hit it's target square in the face, killing it. The victory was short lived when the liquid from the weird creature hit me in the arm. I howled in pain as the 'acid' burned my arm to the bone causing me to fall the floor in pain. Before I lost complete consciousness I saw my father limping slowly over to my broken form.
"GLEN! STAY WITH ME!!"
(5 years later)
"Glen! Your almost there!" My father cheered for me as I climb the Mutated jungle tree. Ever since those weird cubes dropped the whole world was thrust into some sort of alien apocalypse, cliché I know. My father said that the toxic chemicals that came from the cubes created wild and dangerous plant for the weird gelatin aliens to live in. You couldn't even go a foot outside without coming across a giant tree or one of the Aliens which I call Gellactoids. Anyway after I killed the alien the acid it spat at me burned away all the bone and muscle in my arm all the way up to my shoulder. I would have died if it weren't for my father who personally did the life changing procedure that gave me my powers.
Attached to my back and wired to my spine was my P.H.M (Personal Health Meter) which shows my current health status. Think of it as the dead space rig. Attached to the back of my hand was a Galactic which is the key to my bionic powers, and infinite storage system. My father found it in the remaining bits of the Gellactoid's armor. Finally 90% of my bones were replaced with titanium, including my now metal arm. When I was revived by my father the metal arm was covered in guaze and for good reason to. Because underneath all that bandaging was developing synthetic flesh. It was a pale white color and had some cords visible like veins. Anyway back to the story...
"Jump son!" My father yells. I swung from one of the branches and land at the top of the tree.
"Hell yea! Who the man!" I did a little victory dance that was cut short when I slipped and fell from the tree and fell to the ground with a WOMP. Just wanna let you know that tree was 20 fucking feet tall. Thankfully my metallic bones allow me to fall great distances, but it still hurt like a bitch. My father let out little chuckle which soon turned into full blown laughter. "Yea, yea, laugh it up old man. Now what's next?" My father stopped laughing and his expression turned serious.
"Now my son you are ready to finish off the bandit clan 'Black Skull'. My happy expression also fell and I replied with a nod.
"Okay dad, I'll promise I wont let you down." I give him a hug before heading back to base. After the whole world went to hell, it was split into 4 clans, The Angel's shield, Red Skull, Black Skull, and our clan Swift Blade. The Black Skull clan has been a thorn in our side for months. They steal from other clans and kill innocent people for the hell of it. Now the last thing I had do before my training is complete was defeat the Black Skull clan once and for all.
When I arrived back to base I was greeted by the local farmers and townspeople. My after the vegetation became a problem most of the people in town relied on me and my father since we were the smartest and did not act or do anything rash. I waved back to the kind people of the town and continue back to H.Q for supplies and weapons. When I arrived headed strait to the armory. Inside I grabbed and grabbed 12 health syringes and a super heated plasma blade, and D1Z1 explosives. I then exit HQ and began making my way to Black Skull's camp. The trip was surprisingly peaceful and I didn't run into any mutants once so ever.
When I arrived I hid a tree to scope out the area. Using my bionic vision I detected all the camps heat signatures and pun them on my HUD. At the corner of the camp I spot a small hole in the fence and sneak my way over. When I got to the hole I slip inside and manage to sneak past a few guards. Using my stealth to my advantage I snuck around the base planting charges and killing as many guards as possible. I was just about to set off the charges when I spotted a door that read 'Chief's Office' I smirk and enter slowly and stealthily. The room was dark and quiet which made me a little bit nervous. I was just about to turn on night vision when all of a sudden I was hit in the back of the head, knocking me out.
(2 hours later)
I was awoken to the sound of a gun shot, when I turned my head I was met with the most gut wrenching sight. I was tied to a post in my home town and our entire clan was being executed in the most gruesome ways. Some were decapitated with super heated ax blades, wile others were flat out shot in the head. To make matters worse my father was tied to a different post across from me.
"Dad!" His head shoots up at my voice.
"Son I need you to go now!" I shake my head and try to break out. I felt the color drain from my face when one of the Black Skulls walked over when I was just about free. He just laughed and pointed the gun at my dads head.
"Son before I die my last request is...for you to help others that can't help them selves. I gave you those bionics to help others and you better do just that, understand!?" Tears flowed freely down my face as I nodded my head in agreement. I looked like he was about to say something else but he was cut off by the Black Skull who firmly put the gun to his head and-
BOOM
My loving and caring father was taken, just like that. I didn't seem to care at this point I lowered my head as the Black Skull pointed his gun at me with a maniacal smile. "Your turn." At his words I felt something snap. Like a busted dam my anger flowed out. The HUD said that my body tempiture rose from 99 to 5000 degrees. The ropes burnt off at my touch and when I looked myself over I saw I was on fire, I didn't feel a thing...
"Hehehehehehehe."
"Hahahahahahaha."
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!" And just like that I felt my flaming fist impale the horrified guard's ribcage and out his back. The only things that came from his mouth were bloody gurgles. My HUD showed multiple hostile life signatures and I let out an insane giggle as I turn to face the armed soldiers. I simply sliced my arms out horizontally and orange spears of hard light shot out, impaling all of them. "Burn, burn, all of you just FUCKING BURN!" I don't know what happened after that, it all was a little bit fuzzy. The last thing I remembered was being pulled from the Earth and into a swirling vortex. I didn't try to fight it I simply drifted of into unconsciousness.

(P.O.V: Twilight)
"SPIIIIIKE!" I yelled for my little dragon assistant.
"What's up Twi?" He asked with a yawn. It was 6:00 in the morning and I just received a book from Celestia!
"Sorry for waking you Spike, but Celestia just sent me this new book and I was hoping you would like to read it with me!" I replied with extreme enthusiasm. Spike rubbed his eyes before replying with obvious fatigue.
"Your not goanna let me sleep if I don't will are you?"
"Nope!" With a sigh he plopped down on one of the sofas while I sat comfortably in my reading chair. I opened the book and began to read.
'One upon a time there lived a human boy and his father who lived in a small town. They lived such peaceful lives until one faithful day there town was attacked by a strange creatures. The boy lost his arm protecting his father and for his heroic deeds he was given the powers of a god. Using his unique powers he protected the people of his town from hostile wild life, and the dangerous aliens. After years of protecting his people the father was killed by one of his own, and the son was taken from his world.'
"Huh? the rest of the pages are blank!" I turned to Spike for comment only to find that he had fallen asleep. 'Ug, I guess you deserve a day off. After all you have been working really hard.' I levitated a near by blanket, and placed it over a now relaxed Spike. 'Better get to work!' I hopped off the chair and proceeded to rearrange the library, but as I worked I couldn't help but let my thoughts drift back to that book. 'Why would Celestia send me that book if it isn't even finished?" When I was finished rearranging the bookshelf I proceeded to make breakfast.
After a Breakfast I heard a knocking at the door. When I opened the door I saw non other than Rainbow Dash. "Hey Twilight do you have the newest Daring Doo book like you promised?" I giggled and grabbed the book off one of the shelves.
"Here you go!" I handed her the book then she left letting out a little squee of excitement. The rest of the day was uneventful until I went to bed that night.
"Twilight?!" Spike called from the living room.
"What is it Spike?" He pointed a shaky claw toward the book, which to my surprise was shaking and glowing orange. I quickly enveloped it in a force field just in time for it to detonate, breaking the magic field and sending me flying backwards into a bookshelf. Before I lost conscious one of the pages fell in front of me that read.
'One man's fate is soon changed by the elements of harmony.'
